Oi, oi, oi

Angie, Trinity and Jeremy Pierce

With last year’s participation in the Sydney Cup and extensive recruiting in Australia, the Warriors have developed relations with the land down under.

Journalist Jeremy Pierce, who plans to do a story on the Warriors, and his wife Angie and daughter Trinity attended today’s practice as part of their 10-day vacation. After practice, Jeremy chatted with Australia-raised players Ryan Meskell, Stan Gaudion, Max Hendrie and Ben Scruton.

By the way, Trinity is a running back on a club football team in the Gold Coast.

    Great Afternoon All!

The ever-widening circle of FBI probes.

    Das it

    bg:

yes, it’s done and move forward, but must learn from the past mistakes and question why.

in a historical Korean drama, the instructor failed the entire class except one because he dared to question why? why was he acting like a magician rather than a professor?

some things are worth remembering — for example, how many UH opponents review film to see “patterns” and how to defend or attack — sure UH does the same.

or as Mrs. A-House sings, “let it go, let it go” from the film —- dang, can’t even remember the name!!

    pah tatik!!!!

someone posted that Max Hendrie (?) had significant playing time in the Wyoming game — that’s great except I do not know his jersey # — will check on Saturday

IMHO, he should learn to play the MLB position and replace Tavai when he graduates

hopes high that Kapalava will sign his LOI in Dec and enroll in January 2018 to make spring ball

  7. A-House September 27, 2017 1:44 pm

3 win less teams in the NFL including the awful 49er

only positive thing is getting a higher position in the 2018 draft — problem is they need so many skilled positions filled it will take 3 or more draft cycles to complete

#6, at least spell the guy’s name right. It’s Kavapalu.

  9. WarriorNY September 27, 2017 3:01 pm

Are you guys watching this NCAA basketball news??? I’m wondering why anyone is surprised by this… Don’t people remember Western University and Neon Bordeaux???

What makes me sick is that UH basically lost a full basketball season with very good players transferring out because of an ipad?

A-House: Max Hendrie = #92. I still say Coach Rolo should audition him for kick-off duties. I’m pretty sure he could plant that ball in the end zone with regularity.

It’s a family thing. FBI probes or was it a negative, positive lead probes? So that it doesn’t blow up. It was a California show in the 1996 time period. It sounds like it.

It is just a matter of time, before the FBI
starts to investigate football shoe-gate, too.
Tho, what laws were broken remains to be seen.
    NCCA violations aren’t laws…

    Taryn Hatcher:

Hawaii ranked last in the Mountain West in red zone offense.

Colo State ranked first in the Mountain West in red zone defense.

We shall see what we shall see.

Kavapalu still committed since he’s still sporting a H shirt in his profile pic. Other teams might be scared off since he tweeted he fractured his L4 & L5 in 2016. But he says alls good now.

the Department of Justice charged 10 people in conjunction with a corruption and fraud scheme and implicated the Cardinals program in the illegal payment of a recruit.

The top teams in basketball and football are farm teams for the NBA and NFL and a New York Times article by Marc Tracy said this case brings up the debate on restrictions on player compensation and the one-and done rule, among other things.
Before one and done, the top players could directly enter the NBA, receive a salary and get endorsement deals.
Also, the article says the billion dollar tv deals put pressure on teams to rack up the wins and create the atmosphere to break rules to get top talent.

6-7 Daniel Fotu to St. Mary’s for 2018. No offer from UH ?

  19. seewhy September 27, 2017 10:54 pm

    RE: 18
Why would he even want to consider playing here after what happened to his brother?

  20. islandman September 28, 2017 5:24 am

New regime at UH now ? Teammates Avea and Villa would be playing at UH, all recruited back or to Kahuku by Akana last season.

    NotNasti:

your #10 — many thanks on Hendrie — will watch for #92 on Saturday.

current KO kicker is purposely dropping ball short of the end zone or that’s all the leg he’s got?

once, he fit a “line drive” shot that landed near the 5 yard line — mistake?

giving up 10 – 15 yards with every KO must have opponent coaches very happy

  22. A-House September 28, 2017 7:03 am

    #18:

maybe offer tended, but he decided to move out of Hawaii — i believe “old” Fotu was a better player than younger ‘bro’.

yep, the basketball mishaps at UH cost them a very good season in 2016-17

believe all but 1 of the starters were coming back

  23. A-House September 28, 2017 7:08 am

    #14:

your post does not bode well for UH if they keep calling the same plays in the past 4 games

com’ on coaches — make the game exciting and “they will come”!

for me, it’s HOW they lose; not they lost — 12 chances to win the battle and the war!

    Guud Morning Tsaikos…Bootiful Day!
