Clearing the bar for the first time in the outdoor season was the first step for Rainbow Wahine freshman Lily Lowe. Before joining the Rainbow Wahine golf team this fall, Eimi Koga is spending part of her summer representing the country at the World University Games in Gwangju, South Korea. The Moanalua graduate is part of the three-member U.S. team and shot a 4-over-par 76 at Naju Gold Lake Country Club on Wednesday. She was tied for 21st after the first round. While her teammates competed in the Husky Classic in Seattle, Wash. on Friday, Hawaii senior Zhane Santiago was back home, her opportunity to participate stolen before the Rainbow Wahine track and field team’s departure on Thursday morning.
