It is with great sadness that I pass this along. Former Wahine Cia Goods-Fernandez passed away tonight on Maui after a lengthy battle with lung cancer. Goods played for the Wahine in ’93, 95-97. She was a teammate of three of the current Wahine staff: Robyn Ah Mow-Santos (1993-96), Angelica Ljungqvist (1993-96) and Aven Lee (1996-97, 99-00). The annual team banquet is Sunday, Nov. 18, at the Ala Moana Hotel, Hibiscus Ballroom.
