This is the final recruiting weekend before Wednesday’s signing day. Monday is the start of the dead period in which coaches may not initiate any contact with prospects.
* * *
There was laughter.
Roarin’ laughter.
Too much fun for a late-night errand run to Wal-Mart.
And that’s when I saw defensive tackles Rocky Savaiigaea and Tuika Tufaga.
Shampoo run, they said.
It was a reminder that college students are college students, and everyone is on a budget.
It’s even tougher on Tufaga, who is not on scholarship.
* * *
Did I forget to mention that, according to the word on the street, safety Keao Monteilh has been offered a student manager’s position this spring?
* * *
Did I forget to mention that earlier this month, Erik “E-Rob” Robinson and Monteilh’s sister wed?
1ST WOW!
Congrats Mr. & Mrs. E-Rob
Where’s the Tsai ko’s
Good morning all.
Looking forward to coaches getting it done this weekend and 04Feb getting those signatures on paper. Can’t wait to hear/read Coach Mac’s review of the new Warriors!
Top 5!!!
Congratulations to the newly weds!!!
Morning wafan, hows the wx today?
Best of luck to the coaches this weekend!
Congratulations to E-Rob and Keao’s sister!
Good morning again and Congrats to the newlyweds!
Brie will be happy to hear about Keao!
702 . . .
Doing great up here in the PNW. Except for some ground shaking things are peaceful.
Sorry I missed you in December at LV. But, you have to take care of family or else the uncles and aunties will find out and let you know. HA!
It would be great to have Keao around the team next season as a student manager. Almost the whole secondary will be new and having someone with 2 years of experience in Mac’s system would be useful.
I hope their kids consider the UH! Can you imagine the athletes they have the potential to produce? Whoo-hoo!!!
It appears that the Chargers will be available to move to LA or some other city soon. The Chargers’ last chance to stay in San Diego County is to move to Chula Vista (remember, San Diego isn’t going to let them stay in Qualcomm Stadium and will be tearing it down soon), but there are a few problems with them moving to Chula Vista:
1. There is a power plant on the stadium site, and they can’t tear the power plant down because it is in use!
2. The credit markets will make it hard for the Chargers to finance the stadium.
3. Chula Vista’s mayor is now releasing negative public statements about the Chargers.
Great Morning All!
Congratulations to the Newlyweds!
College students do some interesting things to stretch the budget.
Listening to John Veneri talk with Pops and Kanoa about his flt to the west coast last night. He sat right behind Manti Te’o and was pumping him for a clue about his commitment for about half the flt. They get to LAX and Veneri asks him who’s picking him up?
He answers, “Pete.” 🙄
HiHo….
Link to the thread about how 3-star CB Kevin Williams has now committed to Idaho.

K Brackenridge already has commited to Idaho

Article about the Senior Bowl praises Veikune.
Good morning Tsaikos everywhere.
Keep it up coaches!
congragulations to Mr and Mrs Robertson
About David Veikune.
In a earlier show this month I remember BC talking with Miano about how the Hawaii players were projected in the upcoming draft. Miano mentioned that a good showing at the pro day would help the player’s stock-Adam,Sol, Ryan and David. About David V.- Miano mentioned one team, New England, has been looking at David V as a MLB. And get this…a full back (that was the first I’ve heard of this.) A full back? (imagine that…wow.)
Good morning Tsai-kos!
Congrats to the newlyweds and to Keao on his new position.
Veneri also said Manti never budged and wouldn’t give him his decision.
Wow, laulau!?…paradise is proving to be “E-Harmony” hot bed for UH athletes, eh???
Maybe, good to through that thought into the mix for future recruits?!
through=throw…yikes!!
D-1 ~
Wessai Chaptah Chargers has a nice ring to it. I get plenny room on top da ceded lands for one stadium.
we offered Beck Coulter (solid muscle head Pago Pago) but he’s a solid verbal to SMU, according to Reinbold. i guess Jeff won the talking, head to head between SMU and UH, even though Hawaii is more close and Beck has plenty family here. i also guess dat means my anger management failures keeping me from joining whitey and going like, no worries beef curry…. 😀
win sum lose sum
i wonder if Brian Smith made new friends in Samoa this week?
I hope Brian Smith made new friends in Samoa this week and impressed some about the direction UH is going.
we can get all the gas guzzlaz fo da backfield but if we no also get da big semi trucks we ain’t gonna get to be a top ranked program.
i like SMU succeed. I like Warrior Nation succeed samoa!
LizK
hiya to you. how is New Zealand treating you?
hi ho hi ho
gotta go.
Good luck to us, Coaches!
Go Warriors!
Hey Garret,
You are right about the Chargers preparing to leave S.D. Billionaire, Ed Roski, pretty much has the green light to build a stadium in the City of Industry, just outside of L.A. The Bolts have already contracted Casey Wasserman’s media group (owner of the L.A. Avengers) to market the team in the LA/OC area. Oh well, I guess it wouldn’t be too much of a change since the team originally began in L.A.
BTW –speaking of the Super Bowl LVIII does anyone know the status of Travis LaBoy? It would be nice to see a former Warrior playing in the big game and giving recognition to the school.
good morning tsaikos. its unfortunate we lost kevin williams to idaho he would have made our secondary more solid with his 4.39/40 speed. i have faith in the coaches to fill the position…can’t wait for feb.4th….go warriors!
We lost a recruit to Idaho? Waz up wit dat?
Idaho over HAWAII?
Are you kidding?
Laters with that. NEXT!!
King Katonk,
Yes, I’ve been following Roski’s plans for awhile, just like I followed the Staples Center stuff for years before it was built…Roski is building a stadium and needs a team, and the Chargers would love to have a stadium built for them–they actually have to pay for the entire stadium if it is built in Chula Vista, plus they have already paid $10 million for studies (environmental impact, financial, etc.) to figure out where a stadium could go in San Diego county.
Travis LaBoy is listed as questionable but he said that he would play.
I hope he has fun winning one, maybe two games per season; and playing in a dome because it’s snowing outside.
Pulling offers to committed recruits is bad. Pulling offers to a recruit over *9* months after he committed and stopped all recruiting efforts is much, much worse! That is what Nebraska did to this LB recruit. Some school will offer him, but most are nearly out of scholarships and nobody can call him after Sunday!
Is kevin williams aware that it snows in idaho???
bighilofan2,
I was shocked to see that SMU beat out UH for a recruit from Samoa. I guess Jeff Reinbold was more convincing than Brian Smith (people seem to indicate that he’s the UH coach that went to Samoa).
I think that is even more surprising than UH losing out to Idaho for a CB recruit (the other big news today). I did like the news about Williams when he committed to UH, and find it odd when any recruit picks Idaho over upper-tier WAC options. UH has a lot of openings at CB, which I would have thought would appeal to a JC recruit.
At least the recruits let the coaches know now instead of right before NLI day. Now, UH has scholarships to offer to the recruits they are hosting this weekend and the RB in Vegas I posted about yesterday.
What is the surprise count these days? Last I heard it was two, but that was some time ago, and a lot of stories have surfaced since.
commit-decommit-commit-decommit-commit-decommit-commit-decmmit??…to-be-or-not-to-be?????
Here are some quotes from Kevin Williams from ST’s article in November. HA stands for Honolulu Advertiser.
<blockquoteAbout how he kept in contact with Rolo after he transferred from CCSF, Williams said:
“When I found out he went to Hawai’i, I became very interested in Hawai’i. I follow all of the Hawai’i games.” (HA)
Oops, I messed up one blockquote. Sorry, I was rushing because I have to finish something for work.
Good morning everyone!
Congrats to Keao Monteilh and E-Rob!
Stephen – the 14 names please?
UH has not chance at Manti. Never had. Never will. The choice was simple for Teo and his parents.
Play for USC, follow in the footsteps of Polamalu, Seau, Tatupu, and Maualuga, get big time exposure and then get drafted in the top 10 of the first round, getting a big time signing bonus and a mega million dollar annual salary or
Play for UH, follow in the footsteps of Tinoisamoa, get mediocre exposure, and then get drafted toward the end of the first round, getting a substantially smaller signing bonus and a smaller salary?
Which would you take?
Aloha Kakahiaka!
Congratulations to E-Rob & his bride and the Robinson & Monteilh families!
Have a great day everyone!
Off to do family things…Esme & whoosh…
what happens if he goes to ucla instead, chances are slim but you never know
Right now Teo is a top rated LB coming out of high school. He will play one year, take two years off, then come back. Do you think he will come back as the same player he is now and able to beat out the 2 recruiting classes that the USC will bring in??
50
Yes ST – 14 names please?
sounded like kevin williams was concerned about the distance between his homies and college.
anyway, at 5′ 8.5″ 165lbs i wondered about his durability.although as a kr he looked to impress.
one door closes and another one opens.
during the dead period one phone call and correspondence is permissable.
Definition: A “Dead Period,” as the name implies, is a time when nearly all recruiting activity is temporarily shut down.
During a dead period, coaches cannot:
Make in-person recruiting contacts
Conduct in-person evaluations — on or off-campus
Schedule official campus visits
Allow unofficial campus visits
Offer complimentary tickets to games
The only permissible communications during a dead period are phone calls (limited by NCAA regulations to one call per week) and correspondence.
Stretch-
Ask Pete. He thinks so. Otherwise, why offer Teo?

UCLA offered the lesser guys – Toma and Hilliard – in the hopes this would entice Teo to sign too. It’s a dirty trick used all over the country to try to entice the real target of the recruiters – Teo. See the most recent story on Sarkisian and his possible violation of recruiting rules for more information on this practice.
so we lose a few, do we try to replace em based upon position need or go for the best athlete available?
or
do we sandbag one or two scholies for some deserving non-scholie player so that he can afford shampoo?
Condi Rice a serious candidate for Pac-10 commissioner?
Pac10 commissioner job is open?? I wonder if a previous ASU associate AD will apply??
Or is she getting a job with the 49ers?
AURYTE TOP 60
al – I presume you can send unlimited text messages to a recruit during the dead period. Dead period…hmmmm…
I wonder how the K5 guys are going to pronounce the name of BSU’s latest recruit?
I would thing you pronounce it as Chong-A-Choe.
thing? I meant think…doh!

Congratulations to Mr & Ms E-Rob – may you be blessed with eternal health and happiness – no forget to be patient and understanding in all matters.
ST, good neighbor:
Is there a “gag order” on releasing the names of the 14 walk-ons who are now part of the Warriors for Spring training?
Is Coach Mack going to make the announcement on 2/4/09 in conjunction with NLI day?
Teo will go on his mission. He will come back, play as an All-American for two more years. Be the #1 pick in the draft. Be a Pro Bowler his Rookie year through his last. Will be a first ballot Hall-of-Famer. Then become the first Polynesian President of the United States. Then become the head of the United Nations. Then come back and coach UH and an all-Polynesian team that will dominated the country!
ST
mahalo for the tentative spring roster….and we all know that it is only ‘tentative’.
Garret,
Interesting thoughts about Condie Rice joining the Niners. Remember, she was dating former 49er receiver and NFL executive Gene Washington. In a few years they could draft Joe’s son from Notre Dame and revive the “Montana/Rice” connection.
what ever happened to that guy paul soliai who walked on last year? did he go back to playing b-ball at hpu?
Damn right. Uso line.
UH is racist. Riiiiighhht….that’s why a polynesian started the majority of their games at QB. Whatever Uso.
St, good neighbor:
Thanks for the “tentative” spring ball roster and I can see where the 14 invited “walk-ons” are included with the likes of Aaron Rink and Quentin Beaver.
May they be very successful in the “off season” training and increase their value to Coach Mack and his staff.
I wonder why Jim D will not allow willing fans to participate in the lower campus “clean-up”? Maybe, a legal issue on possible injuries?
We are better off focusing on the players that are commited to UH, and keeping them commited. i.e. Lopati, Keli’ikipi, Ma’afala, etc.
A-Hale,
JD might be worried that someone might try to use a lawnmower on Ching field.
ST – You’re list must be wrong. There’s no way that many players with Polynesian names and blood could be invited to spring ball by the biased UH coaching staff. If it’s right, that destroys all that I and Uce2 have said! Cannot be!!!
#80
absolutely right, ST is wrong, it is all a conspiracy to keep the polynesian from succeeding; it’s ST’s fault, it’s not us….issue, issue, issue (iss you)
now that is in the open, FA
I’m surprised no Jon Santos on the Spring roster. He is a very talented guy and is enrolled in school, and he can’t make the roster? I hope that means we are loaded.
watch out,
instead of the ‘falsies’ running amok, it looks like the Uce’s are getting goosey……must be the end of the month….who knows…..
ST, i got your back on the roster……
lava,
i concur, i was looking for his name also……what do we know, we’re just armchair qb’s on a monday morning…..but that is interesting.
about as interesting as having Coach Smith in American Samoa…..what’s up with that…….like going to the dog house or purgatory? ok, that’s enough Bulla, be nice, be a team player, support the team, be positive…….. that’s BS, and not talking coach’s initials…
if we gotta regroup, let’s do it now…….same thing happened at Weber State, and Coach Ronnie Mac shook the bushes and got Inoke Breckterfield, former All American, Pac 10 Defensive Player of the year for the DL 🙂
Andre Dyson, NFL veteran, to coach Cornerbacks, and the recent GA from LSU to coach the QB’s this season…..
one snap and clear…..just get rolling……
Lava:
Santos is coming this summer.
He has to take care of some academic issues.
Brian was in Samoa, but he lost out to Reinbold, so on the surface, he wasn’t at any disadvantage, if you know what I mean.
I was more puzzled by G Lumpkin charged with bringing in the Poly boys. Maybe he has more charisma than I thought.
Smith is checking up on Iosefa.
I imagine the idea is to send the o-line coach to where the o-linemen are.
Thanks ST. I’m counting on Jon averaging 2 TDS a game, until he masters Coach Lee’s system and really excels. 🙂
So how many more surprises, if any, are we in for?
ST
I think Sun God is a better communicator, but that is just my 2 sense
lava:
I think Lumpkin is the point man in SoCal.
Tuioti set the groundwork for the Poly guys, but he’s not allowed to do home visits.
There might me a couple of more surprises next week.
Hopefully, they’re good surprises.
2008 recruit class
(names not on the list?)
Christian Vasconcellos DB 6-1 180 4.5 5.3 Honolulu, HI
Earvin Sione DB 6-5 190 – 4.9 Honolulu, HI
Alema moved to DL?
Alema Tachibana LB 6-3 200 – 5.2 Kahuku, HI
Remembering a radio interview-a player that I remember JJ talking highly about was 2006 recruit
Alasi Toilolo,DE
UH will always have the “in” in American Samoa because Laupepa Letuli is related the late high chief (Larry Goeas’ father-in-law). It was the chief who set the way.
With that tease, you can be assured that the recruiting Tsai-kos are going to be coming back here on the hour through LOI day.
SMU still has to overcome one of its coaches wearing tennis shoes in the chief’s fale.
Actually, lava, you know what’s going on, too.
It’s not that much of a secret. But I’m glad you direct the traffic this way.
UH expects Toilolo and Victor Clore to really step up this year.
I’ve seen Tachibana. He’s going to be more of a hybrid guy. I don’t think he can play with his hand on the ground. But he’s fast, and he’s going to be a big play maker.
Vasconcellos and Sione needed to do work in the fall, which is why they’re not on the spring roster. It doesn’t mean they didn’t or won’t get it done. Just means they didn’t do it in time.
OK, now I’m just talking to myself.
ST,
Thank you for the roster! I’m surprised that Inoke is listed with the QBs instead of the RBs. If they are shifting him to RB, he needs as much work as possible at that position in the Spring.
as long as you don’t say what old people say, you are okay.
keep the info coming ST 😉
Joseph Napeahi was featured in ST’s article about the walk-on tryouts…but he’s not listed in the roster.
ST, did you ever make five post in a row before? if so, not since i’ve been lurking. 🙂
hiya ST and all Tsaiko’s afar.
was waylon lolotai always a d lineman? i thought he would play LB
Too bad about Vasconcellos and Sione. I hope that they can take care of things to get back on the roster by Fall camp.
Actually, lava, you know what’s going on, too.
It’s not that much of a secret. But I’m glad you direct the traffic this way.
is to me, dang! haaaa
Lucas Ingram coming in summer? Fall?
homey:
Lucas Ingram still in high school?
A-House – He graduated already.
Just read that he will join the team in August. Never mind ST.
Inoke will still play some QB, but he’s going to be a slot or running back. In the week leading to the Hawaii Bowl, he didn’t take any QB reps.
How come the coaches put Funaki in than instead of giving some time to Rausch?
It’s okay to talk to yourself…..as long as you don’t answer
ST
Wena said you’ve always talked to yourself….or is it she never responded to your questions? you know how wives can be….haha
…and you don’t have an imaginary friend.
Poly’s to the left…Poly’s to right, standup sit down fight-fight-fight! Yeah buddy, dat kona be ta cheeya!
Napeahi will be joining the team in the summer.
He has weight issues.
rog:
I think by that time, the clock was the enemy. Inoke is the running QB.
Bulla:
Actually, it’s not a joke. I do talk to myself a lot.
The wife used to think the people on this blog were imaginary.
Then she met Bulla.
You just can’t dream up a guy like Bulla.
UCE2 be quiet on dis blog. What happen?? All of sudden everybody like say it loud and proud! Wow, Poly like one false krack o-wat!
btw, I have it on good authority that Ray Hisatake and Raphael Ieru will definitely play a lot this coming season.
As for Jesse Williams, the latest is that he has to take care of some work on his side.
Everyone’s hopeful he’ll be joining this summer. But he’s definitely out for the spring.
ST
i talk to myself a lot also, i am a Gemini, so i am entitled. i used to talk to myself alot when i was raising the kids, because we all know they don’t listen to anything we have to say, unless
you have a $20 in your hand and they want it
it’s dinner time, they’re hungry, but you won’t let them eat
either way, special memories…like special k, special ed, and Genji specials….oh well
That recruit Williams is one confused young man. I’m glad this team doesn’t have to deal with a flake like that. Obviously we seem to have lost a very athletic player, but I think the school lucked out in that this guy would probably have been a headache & a “head” case. The same with Makaula. If they don’t really want to be here, we’re better off without them.
ST
you and i are both luck to have the wives we do….they pretty much put up with a lot of antics, and it’s kind of like the ‘lost child’ in the corner syndrome…..i don’t know if they love us out of pity or because they are innately compassionate women. but i thank God every day for putting my angel in my life, because i know that i am a handful, and then some.
now to address the perverted minds on this blog, Homey et. al, the handful is a figure of speech not intended to describe any anatomical body parts that might be in existence. nuf sed, haha
20 receivers on your list ST. That’s really going to be a heated battle for a spot on the roster. Did you take your meds today?…Just a habit I have now that I’ve been appointed caretaker of the Queen. It beats being porch tender or whatever it was that uce2 had laid on for me.
James ~ My bill is being introduced by Rep. Har and Karl Rhoads! I’m very pleased with this outcome. I’ll see you next week.
Protector,
i agree somewhat with you, but remember that we’re dealing with kids….and like i said the other night, more often than not, we’re dealing more with their ‘daddy’s ego’ than anything else.
i am sure that ST can attest to all of the trials and tribualtions that coaches go through during recruiting……like how about this reply……’yeah coach, sounds good but i think i want to committ maybe, but not sure, want to keep my options open, and maybe i think i could committ.’
confusing for everyone i think….but then you get players like the one from Kapolei who went to UW just recently, and publicly said that he just wanted a trip and that he would never change his mind of going to USC.
now that, in my book, is wrong. 🙁
I’m excited to see if any of the players from last years’ recruiting class such as: Falemalu, Correa, Tachibana, Tuiasosopo, Hanohano; will contribute after redshirting their true freshman season.
Vaughn Meatoga did quite well as a RS Freshman.
you got that right, bulla
when i read that about that kapolei kid, i wanted to puke, how could that come out of the mouth of a boy from hawaii. sometimes i guess i might put some of these guyz on too high of a pedestal not expecting to hear words like “yeah i just wanted to trip them”. 🙁
Forgot that Tachibana is a Grayshirt.
Howzit Kekoa!!
BTW, anybody heard from/seen WDoc lately? She must really be busy at this time of year.
And just so I’m clear, Taylor Choy is Kaha’i, Nalani’s son, correct?
Bulla, so true about talking to yourself when raising kids. Also applies with pets too. I swear my dog had selective hearing.
anyone know where they’re doing the LOI signing this year. last year they did it at my workplace, was very exciting to see da hawaii recruits like haku boy correa, tuiasosopo, etc.
now to address the perverted minds on this blog, Homey et. al, the handful is a figure of speech not intended to describe any anatomical body parts that might be in existence. nuf sed, haha
[never mind, i decided to erase it. haaa]
owen
LOI will be at Blaisdell Center this year
Mrs. Bulla has small hands?

gonna order the fight today when i get home. make sure that i don’t have worry about it tomorrow.
Is that where Corey Nielson will sign his LOI too?
Read he is flying in for this purpose, 2 day trip, and back home.

and why would anyone choose idaho over hawaii is beyond me…
end of the cold dirt road Moscow….

What about playing time for Adrian Thomas? Is he the 2nd “thunder from down under”?

What’s the forecast for the return of Mario Cox back to the Warrior team?
Any relation between listed RB Kimo Alo and UH verbal commit Kamalani Alo?
AND.. a better football program.

A-House,
it is open to the public,

real small hands, haha
I can see the t-shirt potential.
“TUNDA FROM UNDA” …

Tuiasosopo is going to be good. Look forward to his development. Hope he reaches his potential.
Hope Travis is in the game on Sunday.

jm#####,
Just spoke briefly to WDoc. She’s busy at the Legislature.
Peaches tells me that the Warrior Beat and all the HA blogs are being blocked at work. Curious to see how long that lasts since company is a major sponsor of UH football.
Since Peaches can’t read this I’ll tell a story: 👿 Last year Peaches was wearing her Tsai-ko shirt because she was going straight to a blog party. A high company exec was doing a surprise visit/tour and was walking through all departments when he stopped and engaged Peaches in conversation for several minutes. Since he asked her football questions, one can surmise he recognized the shirt. 🙂
Re: Mario Cox.
He attended the tryouts, but did not work out. I think he had a cold. So that’s not a good thing. Right now he’s not on the roster, but that could change. One of the problems is that he was not on scholarship last semester. He was supposed to get the WUE rate — 1.5 times what a resident pays — but was instead charged the full non-resident tuition. That’s a big hunk of change. And that’s preventing him from being allowed to be a full-time student.
Re: Jesse Williams.
It’s not his fault, either.
He goes to school, graduates. Now you’re thinking, that’s it.
Trouble is he graduates from a school in Australia. Sometimes class comparisons are like apples and kiwis. The Clearinghouse is having a hard time determining how many of his classes can transfer, and what he needs to do to become eligible. Almost everyone I speak with believes he should be eligible. But it’s not that simple.
Re: Makaula.
It’s a free country. A person can go anywhere he wishes to go.
But it probably would have been better to take the trip to Washington before de-committing.
At least football players are fortunate to receive full scholarships. Imagine being a volleyball player. The men’s team has to split the financial equivalent of 4.5 scholarships among 18 players.
A guy like Yuval Katz got nearly the maximum — 0.8 of a scholarship. That paid for tuition, books and lodging. He had to pay for his own meals.
J-Dog:
Actually, I’ve never heard of Kimo Alo until today.
Hey, I had to type fast. I “found” that list.
This is a legitimate concern that Te’o will face along with the program that he signs with.
As previously mentioned before, these top tier programs live off of pressure from Wal Street-type fat cats that expect BIG THINGS year in and year out.
Te’o is the cat’s “meow” this year, but who’s to say someone better will not come along in the next two or three recruiting classes.
The only two things sure in this life are death and taxes. Playing time and prime depth chart positioning sure as hell aren’t even close.
Kekoa:
20 receivers isn’t so bad considering there are four receiver positions.
#149
Look for Tui to make an impact next season, GO TUI!!!!
I always think it’s better to go on the mission first. What’s the point in playing a season, then not playing for two years.
I also think that maybe a player can reach more people by playing than actually going on a mission.
Solomon Elimimian did more for his faith by making a lot of tackles.
I think Laupepa Letuli is going to have a monster year.
ST,
At the same time I think Solomon Elimimian didn’t help the faith of those he tackled… 😆
ST
i agree, what do you gain by playing and then leaving? in the case of the kid from Wailua, he’s going on a mission for 2 years and will then be enrolled at Weber State, good for his family and also for WSU.
when you get an LDS kid, it’s awesome from a recruiting standpoint, because if he’s going on a mission, he doesn’t factor into current year scholarships, but only the year they come back from their mission. kind of like a legal back door…
having said that, Homey and Stretch….. i expect some commentary on the legality of your back doors, and koakane…….you might have more than just your opinion on that also.
Kazz,
Sol did wonders for their faith….
with a gasping breath after #17 laid them out…..’……..oh God…………’
haha
Kazz – I don’t think the Jaguar tribe in the Amazon pays any taxes.
That spring roster looks pretty darn good to me and with the new Ching field, the work-outs and practices will be better than ever. Route running practices will become a lot more precise with a regulation size, professional field, with lines and end zones, wootah !!
More surprises still in store? Good or bad?
It’s a little like Christmas and Halloween rolled into one.
ST
i would consider the NFL a mission, and the tithing from the LDS boyz would be 10% of ‘a ton of money’ and using those funds to further the faith…….one would venture to say.
Maybe Jim Henson could of?
Bulla is a character indeed. 🙂
Just kidding boss… 😉
Maybe Te’o isn’t old enough to go on a mission straight out of high school???
whoa, whoa, whoa…. EEEAAASSSSYYYY TIGER…. no put me in the same category as homey
😆
Touche sir!
Bulla – No comment on my back door but koakane told me that Stretch has a sign on his that says, “Remove your shoes before entering”.
Stretch
i apologize, you are not in the same category as that finely tuned, well oiled, love machine with manly forearms…he is in a league of his own……
but you are definitely in the running according to koakane +-
What could cinch it for “Pete” is if he decides to give out #55 to MT and agree to put it on “hold” for two years until he gets back….then again, another option is to give him a “skills” # and allow him to carry the ball on Student Body Right.
Homey,
funny, koakane told me you had a sign that said
‘last one please turn off the light’ by your back door
what gives? inquiring minds want to know
when i was growing up, pucker up meant to get ready for a kiss……where have we gone?
he made many of us believers.
this is not in regards to MT or any other athlete but just for my info, if you go on a mission straight out of high school and come back 2 years later, do you still have to go the school you signed your LOI with or can you go to another school if maybe circumstances changed
as Homey told me one late night,
‘what 2 letters in the alphabet make every grown man cringe?’
K Y
J-Dog
that boy could downright play, he was a BALLER, and hope he gets a fair look at the NFL Combine. sort of like the Jeff Ulbrich mode, who is in his 9th season for 49’ers right now i think.
Bulla – Due to these difficult economic times I need to conserve electricity. Come to think of it, koakane tells everyone everything!
Bulla – Don’t forget these 2 letters… W D
…or these letters, g g
re: Mario Cox
A part of me admires the fact that he’s giving it one last shot, but wasn’t he on scholarship as a freshman, then lost it due to academics?
I really think having to sit out the ’06 season really hurt him, but then again it allowed Nasti Nate to rack up the stats.
owen-16,
IIRC there was some comment about that earlier…something about a student being “locked-in” once he enrolls for that 1st year but being able to go elsewhere if he goes on the mission before actually enrolling….
Does anyone know for sure?
Homey,
just playing, can you tell we’re between football seasons? haha
at least LOI day brings some mini dramas, but not as good as the korean soaps
the other day i had a friend go out to a ‘bar’ and the girl said do you like ‘korean soaps’; 2 hours later he was smelling fragrant, $300 poorer, and standing outside a locked door wondering….what just happened?
ok Homey,
play nicely, but if you put those pair of letters together, wow, sort of like Al’s ‘nightmare on elm st.’ i would think….. 😉
Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?
Nice to see Marc Moody on the Spring roster…
LOI day is not here yet. me thinks many will be surprised, shocked as well as disappointed.
bulla speaking of back doors doesn’t homey own a master key to all the locks.
Wow, we have a lot of receivers (not including the incoming JC’s and HS players). Is anybody’s position there solid? I think maybe Greg Salas might be the only “lock”.
I’m more intrigued by the competition for the single starting running back slot. Will Libre get his extra year? If so, that would be a huge boost. I’m still pulling for LWJ, but interested in what the new guys look like as well.
d1
i thought Moody was in the secondary? but then ryan said he got ‘too big’ to play back there.
Bulla,
I think they moved him up at his last stop.
ST,
Isn’t there a requirement that someone has to be 19 before they can go on a mission? That would explain having to play for a year before the mission.
Also, as d1shima brought up, if someone goes on a mission before enrolling in school, they are “free agents” after their mission, no matter who they signed a NLI with.
Those are two pretty good reasons for USC to be okay with Manti going on a mission.
Why is everyone so excited about LOI Day? There’s a KKall in 8 days! 🙄
heheheh
he not related to emmanuel is he…
I looked up the information and confirmed that someone has to be 19 before they can go on a mission. So, Manti *cannot* go on a mission straight from high school.
…5…4…3…2…1…
Heeeeere’s SteveM!
owen-16,
No. Nor Andrew…
e kala mai, my bad, good afternoon to all the tsai-ko’s. have a good aloha friday.
shutting down and heading out now
K Y ?
Kentucky Jelly? Yeah, that’s it. Top quality too!
d1 – Does Anybody Really Care?
koakane,
Eh, no stop at the gate!
and….
why was Bulla with homey late at night???
ok d1 when stop since you gave one shout out.
naaaahhhhhh had some left over (3) manapua’s so no can let it go to waste.
mmmmpphhhhhhhh mmmmppppphhhhhh mmmmmmpppphhhh
The boys need to be 19 before they can go on their mission, hence the 1 yr in school followed by 2 yrs on mission. They could just have them sit out that year, but usually not a good idea. Kids get distracted. Some parents tell me they hold their boys back so they graduate from HS at age 19 and then can go on the mission before starting college. I think that’s why it’s common for Kahuku players to be a little older than the other schools.
no wonda he neva show up at ala wai to check out bball game.
…so who’s bringing the Goteborg? 😕
And yes, Taylor Choy is my son Kaha’i.
Howdy Y’all!
Been of da blog for a couple. Between ‘puter problems and Ocaeanic’s random phone and internet drops, I haven’t been posting. The phone and ‘net flopped three times so far today…
Interesting looking roster. I dint know that Hogan Rosehill was a Warrior. I’m also wondering what Steel Jantz is going to look like at QB. Adding the fall QB recruits to the spring roster equals a lot o’ QBs.
Congrats to E-Rob and his new bride. They should have some awesome babies.
finished up the char siu bao, box in rubbish can so now heading out
gotta make stop at 7/11 and get supa big gulp
hey dpk
check in lattas esmeeeeeeeeeeee whoooooooshhhh
So who are our replacements at DT. It apperas that we lost three good ones, in Josh Leonard, Keala Watson, and Fale Laeli.
By looking at ST’s list, it appears that we have about eleven candidates.
Savaiigaea
Meatoga
Leatigaga
Hafoka
Watson
Tufaga
Mahoe
Beaver
Hanohano
Keli’ikipi
Fonoti(possibly)
I’m not sure if Fonoti will be used inside or outside this season?
We need to find eight guys who are ready to go. Hawaii likes to rotate their defensive linemen, so you actually need four starters at defensive tackle, with four very capable back-ups.
Kelli’ikipi might not get to redshirt this season. We may need ready him to play right away. I’m sure older brother will have him ready to go.
Koakane. I don’t think the sound that you make is actually a whoosh. More like a swish-swish, swish-swish, swish-swish.
I’ll bet Steele Jantz would be a real good ball control type of slot. But then I think that same way about David Graves also.
I’ll bet Nick Rolovich wouldn’t like me much.
Why does that name Nalani Choy sound familiar?
d1
happy for him to have a chance to keep playing
ST…
Have you heard anything recently about possibility of either of the Class of 2006 Moanalua Menehune dynamic duo Stanford Leti & Quinton Tang walking on at UH?
Mahalo!
Notice a Papali’i on ST’s spring roster. Any relation to former Utah and Arizona recruiter Sam Papali’i?
hmmmmm,
if Homey was with me……i didn’t notice…..better go check my closet and see if he’s still hiding….
wait a minute,
koakane was at ala wai, homey was supposedly with me across from ala wai field…but i never saw him……it could only mean one thing…..
those 2 buggahs waz filming…’Locals Gone Wild’ at Ala Wai baseball field. i saw the bright lights and the large group of local people….i knew i’d figure it out….
BTW, the walk-on DE prospect is former Class of 2008 Crusader Abraham “Ho’okaika” Cavaco-Amoy.

Oregon raised a ton of money in their last fundraising campaign, with an unusually high percentage of that money going to athletics. However, two donors accounted for a big chunk of the funds raised and Phil Knight primarily seems to donate to athletics at Oregon.
There used to be a Nalani Choy, who was a vice president at the Bank Of Hawaii. I wonder if it’s any relation to Kahai Choy’s family?
ST….
Whatever happened to last year’s spring walk-on phenom Les Soloai?

This other big donor to Oregon didn’t even go there! I wish UH had a few donors like this…

A free CD goes a long way!
Ralph,

my parents named me Irving, but they call me Bulla.
i’m not saying that Kahai is in the same boat, but it is what it is ……
Irving? Don’t hit me now, but lol. 🙂

Good to see Quentin on the list.

good luck with the contract negotiations…
thank you for the ’09 roster, ST
stretch says. “EEEAAASSSSYYYY TIGER”
my uncle used to tell me that one. hey, how old are you any way.
ST, good neighbor:
Saw Davone Bess on channel 7 sports and it jogged my memory for a question I wanted to ask for a long time:
Who was the person feeding footballs into the “jugs” machine for Bess to catch 100 balls after practice?
If UH knew a long time ago that Jesse Williams wanted to be a Warrior, why didn’t some one start the process of checking on his classes to confirm eligibility? UH had several players from “down under” play football. Are the requirements different now than 10 years ago? Isn’t Amanda, in the compliance office, from “down under”. Is it her or another’s responsibility? How did Coach Coolen qualify his players from Australia?
goteborg sausage will be an experiment tonight.

A house the Na Wahine BB and Softball gals took care of business in the class room. Jessie had at least 11/2 years since being recruited to get his core classes up to par, he didn’t, he snoozed, he gets put on the back burner…our european vb gals had no problems getting into UH on time, so think about it, how come Jessie…Jessie got to take responsibility like our HS fb players got to pass the SAT or ACT and take algebra 2 and language to get into UH.
just saw Pops Leahy pitching season tickets to UH baseball….got to keep it up to get the interest up-fan support and added revenue…
Na Wahine beat Utah State in WBB, two teams winning on the road…now the men VB got to come thru and make it 3 for 3 in UH victories…
empty arena again….friday nights is HS night…OIA boys soccer playoffs at Roosebelt field…GO MILILANI TROJANS…
eh Ralph, how you know all this kind stuff?
you get one secret source? you post just like al!
thanks for the info and agree that if Jessie neva take care of getting qualified, then tough tootsie and move on.

thanks for the post of the WBB team win against Utah St – now I can drink to dat – wait , i no drink – oh, what da hey, small shot of Kalua will do me good!!!

northridge has a 7 foot volleyball player. i think they need to raise the net.
congrats to the wahine too for winning their first wac game.
wait, the player is 7’2″. maybe not heavy or skilled enough to play bball. but i guess he can play vball. different set of skills.

seeing comments on other sites that internet seems slow today.
Anyone know what’s going on?
Ralph – ok, inquiring minds wanna know.
I named my first son Taylor James Kaha’iokalani Choy. Taylor for James Taylor my favorite singer in the whole world, James for my Dad, Choy for his Dad (of course) and Kaha’iokalani because my Tutu told me to. I wish we had put the Kaha’i part first, but it just didn’t flow. So I did the same darn thing to him that my parents did to me…put my english name first, but called me by my Hawaiian name my whole life. (Nalani is now my legal first name, but used to be my middle name).
Interesting part about Kaha’iokalani is that my Tutu told me that Kaha’i is a family marker name. Every so many generations, someone needs to be called Kaha’i so that when they trace the family tree, they know we’re ohana. Kaha’i Topolinsky (Kumu Hula) is a cousin. I went to KS w Kaha’i DelaCruz but didn’t know he was my cousin until I heard this story from my Tutu many years after high school. The first Kaha’i was said to be from Tahiti and he brought the ‘ulu to Hawaii. I guess he was a cousin too.
A lot of people can’t pronounce Kaha’is name, so they call him Ka’ahi or Kahai (like Ka-High) or Nalani’s son. He’s too shy to correct them.
The UH players call him Ha’i which I think is cute. One of the UH coaches called him Ka’ahi all the time, so the players started calling him Ahi. That’s funny.
Since it’s a slow posting night, I’ll add something off topic:
A friend of mine who is a techy guy, showed me something really cool. On your cell phone, instead of dialing 411 and paying $1 for the number, you can SMS Text to 46645. In the body of the text you put the name of the place you’re looking for (ie Homey would text “Femme Nu”). Ha. It’s also good to add Honolulu or Aiea, or whatever.
In a few seconds, you get texted back the full name, address, and telephone number. It’s free. It’s from Google.
Try it. It’s cool.
AL – and those talking about sausage and bacon and stuffs.

ST – the next contest should be, “What is Nalani’s previous real first name??”
Stretch – I knew someone was gonna ask that. Unfortunately, that is locked and sealed and I will never tell. Shelton too is sworn to secrecy.
all of your Kam school girls would know…
come on Pride make it happen
Just let it go. It’s not really that interesting.
Brew808 would know!
Northridge with 24 service errors and we’re still on the short end and losing in the match
when is the first off season contest open to the public
stretch, what. get one contest and the winnah get one cd. all right!!!
Thank you to all the wonderful tsaiko’s and Nalani for so much interesting facts about the Warriors and life in Hawaii.
my first submission for the contest is “cup”
Stretch,
Thank you so much for posting the news that the Advertiser and the Union have a tentative agreement! That is awesome and I hope that it is finalized soon.
stretch, byuntae is staying home cause his spacecraft no more gas and not too mention that he no more trading stamps.
Nalani,
My sister (and I) have Japanese middle names and English first names. She actually went by her middle name when she went to U-Dub, so I got used to calling her by her middle name when I am talking to one of her friends from there. The people in Hawaii don’t know who I’m talking about when I use her middle name and the people in Seattle don’t know who I’m talking about when I use her first name!
cup?
Garret, you lucky your parents when give you and your sister 2 names. i don’t think your aunties and uncles had english names, but if the tsaikos only knew how many aunties and uncles you have, they would fall down.
nalani, i knew a family here on maui and their name is cup choy.
whitey,
My Dad doesn’t have a middle name, just his Japanese first name…he was the 18th kid and I think they were running out of names!
Garret – funny. Lots of Kamehameha kids who used english names in HS now go by Hawn names. It throws me off.
Whitey, my name used to be Jenkins. I only inherited Choy much later when I married, so Cup Jenkins wouldn’t work….BTW, I think Shelton knows them. He used to work Hawn Tel on Maui and knew a guy named Cup Choy.
Oh wait…Kup Choy I think.
i wen go look at facebook for possible answers, but neva have. i check on stretch in facebook and he look like one terrorist.
Nalani, that is the guy, Paul Cup Choy, at H’Tel. unfortunately, he passed away a while back. his dad was the boss at Libby Cannery in Haiku.
Nalani,
Talking about changing names, my wife’s parents gave her two words for her first name and no middle name. The first word for her first name is the same as the first word of her sister’s first name. Some people made the second word in her first name be her middle name, so they thought she had the same first name as her sister. That really confused the post office, schools, Social Security (which had her name wrong in their records!) and the credit agencies. Plus, everyone called her “Lori”, even though that wasn’t either of the two words that made up her first name.
When we got married she legally replaced the two words in her first name with Lori. She gave herself a middle name by putting the two words in her first name together. And she changed her last name to my last name. So, she had a whole new first, middle, and last name! That, plus the Social Security mixup and the mixup with her sister and her having the first word of their names being the same, really confused the credit agencies and the government!
Her parents weren’t happy that all of her names changed! But they got over it quickly.
keep going gang, coming up to the magic 300 mark.
Sorry to hear that. I will tell Shelton. He is fast asleep right now.
Garrett – wow, I’m lost. What is her middle name now?
Garrett,
i know I know. I wuz shocked too. but not really. i’ll wait until after NLI day to tel you whats on my mind. reallly burnin stuff too.
Hiya Kekoa.
thanks for the call.
the stuff thats really burning my buns is that the coach has got to know that we’, Warrior Nation, is lookin to be a top ranked team. i mean, if Utah can become a powerhouse wit all its problems, hanging around with wide stance Larry Craig right nexst door, then i don’t understand why the recuirts aren’t all bustin down doors to come here, unless there is a communication problem.
and that is what worries me. the communication problem. we’ve seen it coming. we might as well talk about it. thats what i[‘m thinking, honestly.
She had 2 names for her first name, with a space between them. She put them together (no space) to make her middle name.
Sorry it took me awhile to respond. I’m posting while playing scrabble with Lori, so I can post when it is her turn.
evening bhf2. how u??? got to make a trip to your island in feb to see my sis who is doing chemo right now, but will let you know when.
Samson fit at center in Cam Cameron’s offense, which needed his mobility and pass blocking ability. In Miami’s power-based offense now, he seems to be a better fit at guard.
The NFL is looking to change their overtime rule. They don’t seem to want the college rule, but they are looking at making it so that the offense starts with worse field position.
feeling good about the spring roster and know we got some players who will get the warrior motor running and start to do some damage. if any tsaiko has seen the warriors doing their off season training, let us know your opinion. they all know what spring training will be like, so if they come to spring training out of shape, it is time for coach mc to start stepping on toes and kicking some arses. hopefully that he no need to do that.
okay computer question! I got two internal drives, C is filled, and a D drive. I can’t defrag or restore to an earlier date on C drive-only 1 o/o available space…so, how can I move programs from C to D without crashing or losing anything…and what programs should I move…I was thinking, keep only windows stuff on C and everything else on D…

Ralph,
I would buy an external hard drive for under $100 which you can move programs to/from to fix your problem. It sounds like you are overloaded on your hard drive! Plus, when your computer is fixed, you can use the drive to save your important files in case your computer dies.
Free play link time. Please ignore my next 5 posts if you do not want the off-topic stuff.
A volcano may be erupting soon in Alaska. I didn’t realize that volcanoes there don’t spew lava…instead, they shoot out this rock-like ash 9 miles up and the jet stream can take the ash quite far away.

The FDA admits that cloned meat and milk may already be in our food supply, despite how they asked food companies to voluntarily ban all food products from cloned animals. Remember the woman who gave birth to 8 kids recently? It turns out that she *already* has 6 other young children (ages 7, 6, 5, 3, 2, and 2). I do not understand why this 33-year-old woman was given fertility treatments (they normally do not give fertility treatments to anyone younger than 35)! Wow, Lori’s turn is taking a long time…let me see how many more posts I can make.
Congratulations to the volleyball and basketball teams for their wins!

you crack me up, no hair so they called me bulla, what a riot…. 😉
UH 3 for 3….great week for the warrior clan…
Ralph,
Programs are hard to move between hard drives…if you have the installation CDs, you can uninstall (delete) the programs from the C drive and re-install them on your D drive. The first thing I would do is move data files over (look in My Documents), since that is easy to do and can free up space fast.
lava,
and now you know……the rest………of the story 😎
ok, time to go. remodeling work continues tomorrow. congratulations on passing 300.
whitey,
I never knew about Alaska’s volcanoes! I can understand why they close the airport–the article mentions how the rock-like ash made all four engines on an airplane fail…they barely were able to prevent the crash!
Lori’s turn just ended…I’ll try to make a word fast.
Bulla – about the no hair stuff, just tell them “I had it when I needed it”.
That turn was fast!
Gnight errybody! Check you out tomorrow.

Congrats to the vb team and the Wahine on their long-awaited victories!

Ralph the easy way would be to buy a 16 gig flash drive and just move (drag and drop) all your data files (except windows) to the flash drive, then double check to make sure they load from the flash drive, then delete them from your main drive. The other way would be to open the computer switch the hard drives and load the OS on to that drive.
I have three flash drives that I use to keep a backup of all my files that way if the puter crashes no problem.
Time for bed. Hope everyone has a great night and rests easy.
Tomorrow is an important day because it will be one day closer to LOI day!
ralph….st has stated that it is not jesse williams’ fault for his not enrolling. didn’t he mention it is more to do with the acceptance of credits by the ncaa clearinghouse?
Howzit DPK!…hope you are gearing up for the great Karaoke Kall next week. Looking forward to teaming up with you on some of those oldies but goodies.
Love to the sweety girl, I hope she’s not stressing out. She has an emotionally draining job!
Kekoa – wanted to go tonight but child declined. I might be able to talk her into to it tomorrow. Right now, she has rehearsals after school everyday till 6. I’m not an MMA fan, so I won’t be watching the fight. Talking about going to the game on the 12th since they don’t have school the next day.
I’m thinking about going somewhere to watch the game in HD. Anyone on the windward side watching it somewhere other than at someone’s house?
Ralph – once you’ve moved your files, use the c: drive only for programs and d: for your files.
Ralph also one of the most important things to have is a emergency start up disk or a OEM recovery disk supplied by the computer mfg.
ralph….no be cheap. just take it to that geek shop or some other tekkies and have them do it for you. or just buy another one.
running 28 seconds to refresh

Ralph — what do you have on your C drive that has taken up all your space? Movies? Photos?
If not, I often see PC built-in backup programs create full copies of your system and data at regular intervals unless it is disabled. It will continue to do so until the drive is full.
Kekoa – we had a farewell potluck lunch at work today. I brought my triple choc cake, as usual. They won’t let me bring anything else. 😆 🙄
Let’s not celebrate the settlement.
It calls for a 10 percent payCUT.
ST ~ How can that be? Don’t they know who you are?
“YOU ARE $T”
You generate big money everyday via your WB. That alone is worth a pay raise. How can they not see that?…Tell them not to get me started!
jm ~ I want to make some Triple C for the fight tomorrow. Maybe put a layer of heavy strawberry syrup inside. Oh how decadent that would be!
what’s worse….
10% pay cut or 10% reduction in force?
of course none of the above is best.
10 % pay cut or a freeze of wage increases for two years.
so who’s tripping this weekend?
Al ~ Tru dat. What is not fair is taking 10% off of an already devalued salary.
kekoa….how’s the mrs?
Gotta go ‘wrap’ da Queen. Good nite all!….
Al the natural body pain killers have diminished. She’s on pure bio-feed back relief. Tuffing it out like the trooper she is. I’m having to irrigate and keep the wounds clean, and air dry. The incisors did the most damage to the calf muscles by pulling, puncturing and traumatizing the muscles.
labor relations lawyers should be aware that there may be some company’s taking advantage of the recent actions by many corporations to reduce staff and payroll. using that ploy to freeze payroll increases, etc even if the company has been doing well.
nitey nite all. see ya in da morning.

From her office at Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y., Deitre Collins-Parker sounded downright gleeful about yesterday’s weather.
“We were in the 20s today,” Collins-Parker said, lamenting temperatures in the teens a day earlier.
The California native will soon be putting the frigid Eastern winters behind her when she becomes the next women’s volleyball coach at San Diego State.
The two-time national collegiate Player of the Year while at Hawaii and U.S. Olympian confirmed she will take over for Mark Warner at SDSU. Warner retired after 14 seasons in November.
hi stephen tsai you forgot d lineman ikaika mahoe and o lineman joe napeahi on 2009 football roster both are cousin there from keaukaha homestead in hilo hawaii . thanks pride not forgetting mahoe on the d line . mahoe and napeahi both going to help the warriors in 2009 football season. good luck keaukaha boys 4 life.
Mahoe and Napeahi will probably be added during the summer, question is, early august or when school begins
why wont manti teo even consider hawaii. He would be the biggest star in hawaii. If he goes to usc or notre dame he will not be as big of a star

Congratulations to Kauai and their star players from Waimea High School. Number #37 Kenny Estes and #95 Vaughn Maetoga representing them on Kauai and being in the limelights again this year. Also I am sure however no one has of yet heard of them here in Honolulu. I’m sure Principal Larry Kaliloa on the West side of Kauai will be happy to see them on the football field. They had a blast at the carnival recently over there.
best regards,
Dean K. Sabado
Also, I saw the schedule again for this year and I’m sure with playing time these players will be able to put a BA on their resume in the years to come, just like Kauai Mayor did Bernard Carvalho Jr., representing the small Garden Island. This is if you know anyone on Kauai of course.
Names to join the elite group with success BA movements credentials are here:
Bob Nash 1972 UH Basketball
Jim Donavan 1981 UH Football
Kauai—-
See their playing pictures.

To all the HHSAA losers on Kauai,
………..that never was, this one’s for you:
I’m sure that these players making the team have nothing to do with those losers on Kauai with no name to try to get in good with local ties in Honolulu Advertiser. Someone at Waimea High School former Baseball stardom past away recently in Waimea, Kauai. Last name is Bayudan. That town is a baseball and football town, Waimea, Kauai. I’m sure I’m calling all the HHSAA athletes losers trying to get their name in on the academic side via their alumni stat and placing UH. I think it was a 1989 graduate or 1991 I’m not sure, but all I can see is it may have been athletic related life. Is the reason for an early death. He was in competition with many other athletes from UH, if you get my drift.
best regards,
Dean K. Sabado
