Spring Fling Day
The Warriors end their 32-day spring training with today’s Spring Fling, a festival of keiki activities, autograph session and, of course, the 15th spring practice.
The event starts at 5 p.m. at UH’s Ching Athletic Complex.
Because of injuries and other circumstances, the Warriors probably will conduct situational scrimmage-like sessions instead of a full-on game.
Defensive coordinator Kevin Lempa said there will be a post-spring organizational chart, noting where each player played, but not an actual depth chart. Competition continues through training camp.

When you buy CDs directly from Amazon, you have to pay $8.99 shipping. To qualify for free shipping, you have to spend more than eighty dollars.
You should always buy CDs from an Amazon affiliate.
I hate digital albums. It doesn’t feel like ownership.
Happy Birthday Your Honor! May you have a great one and many more!
No more fb till August? Yikes.

I bet the food was great.
Spring Fling. Big crowd with lots of families and kids. Food trucks were out. Here’s my view. The running game is obviously the strength of the offense. All four running backs, Diocemy St Juste, Paul Harris, Steve Lakalaka and Ryan Tuiasoa had good runs. Dylan Collie continues to find open space. Kemp and Camanse-Stevens had good catches. So did TE Unga. I think the bright lights and crowd affected the QBs as they overthrew the receivers often. They don’t do this during day practices without the crowd. Defense starting to catch up. Secondary playing better. DEs causing problems coming off the edge. An OL got hurt; had to be carted off the field. Not sure who it was. Think it was either #76 or #78, All in all a fun evening. Many of the players were mingling with the crowd posing for pictures and shaking hands with the fans. Everyone was smiling and having a good time.
It was #76(Arona Amosa) who got hurt. It looks like he broke his leg cause I saw the trainers bring out an aircast.
Looks like this year we going have to run to set up the pass if our QBs don’t develop. If our QBs cannot get the job done I wouldn’t be surprised if Rolo just give the job to Cole McDonald and run read option bases offense. Then go back to a spread attack when UH can find passing Qb that can run the spread.
Wooslsey is just not good. Zwahlen is really a pro-set kind of Qb and Reilly is an athlete playing Qb. Don’t know if Tuileta can help us even if he did gain admission after the spring semester. Too much lost time.
H-Man, kahuna, Mahalo for the observations and updates. QB’s might have had trouble adjusting to the lights but they’ll come around. Thinking coach Rolo might schedule some practices under the lights? Good to hear the running game is improving. Then again, DL not quite there yet? Anyhoo, might be a chicken and egg thing on my part.
Got some down time to improve health and strength and get the grades up.

ST,
What is the deal with Garcia-Williams? Did not see him at Spring Fling and seems that another player was wearing his number. Is he still on the team?
All-G:
David Manoa and Jerrol Garcia-Williams switched jerseys.
