Brrrr … it's cold in here
Although snow is forecast for Thursday and Friday in Fort Collins, Colo., it should be dry for Saturday’s game between UH and Colorado State.
Dry, but chilly.
Temperatures are expected to be in the low 40s at kickoff, with the mercury dipping into the 30s during the game.
* * * * * *
With Art Laurel back to relatively good health and Benny Fonua still on the mend, practice today should feature this No. 1 group of linebackers: Laurel on the weak side, Brenden Daley in the middle and Jerrol Garcia-Williams on the strong side. That could change when Fonua gets back to full health. He is hopeful of playing this week.

First?
Not quite. 🙂
So Penn State v. Hawaii ehhhhhhh?
Are they still looking at the December 8 date?
http://www.mwcconnection.com/2012/7/30/3204672/penn-state-hawaii-schedule
Ohayoooooooooooooooogozaimasu!!!!!!!
Tsai scheduled to appear (per a Bobby Curran on this morning’s Hawaii News Now Sunrise show) on ESPN 1420am.
So, go listen.
To help express a Tsai’s “brrrrrrrrrrr”-ness.
How can you just leave me standing?
Alone in a world that’s so cold?
– Prince and The Revolution, When Doves Cry
MLB World Series starts tomorrow!!!!! 7 Eastern!!!
If UH were in bowl contention it wouldn’t make sense to schedule a 13th game, but since six wins is virtually off the table now, why not? Bring on the Nittany Lions!
Tsai on radio. 1420
*Gasp*
It could be TEMPLE UNIVERSITY too I guess….They only have 11 games scheduled this year.
http://www.fbschedules.com/ncaa-12/mid-amer/2012-temple-owls-football-schedule.php
TSAI ON ESPN 1420 am NOW!!!!!! TALKING ‘BOUT 13TH game!!!!
ST knows what school UH is trying to schedule.
Ok so Tsai said December 8 is the date they are looking at.
Guess Penn State is it.
If it IS Penn State, allow all the kids who go to the games to sit at the 50 yard line on both side; have a reserved section for them. Have a banner with dark green font — “Hawaii will never forget . . .”
Can’t listen to the radio because grandkid is watching TV. Thanks for the updates, guys!
Heh. Ne’er mind 13th game . . . a Grease sports a 13th post today 😉 !!!!! [!]
I think Tsai just said Mike Edwards might have interest in leaving for the NFL after this year.
I know this is incredibly selfish, but I hope he doesn’t go. Having teams able to run AND pass against us is going to be so sad.
isn’t penn state interested in playing a 13th game, for them, at hawaii?
unless, it is a home and home series, the money game (1 mil) is not a home game but an away game.
# 14, gigi . . . good to have a transistor radio available, Hawaii being “hurricane season”-involved and all 🙂 . Tell that grandkid to get to school anyways 😛 .
yah, i won’t blame iron mike edwards if he left early, only if he is a 1-3 round projection.
Doris is on radio now.
It’s “iwonderwhytheyhateme Day/morning” on The Warrior Beat today. Congratulations. 😛
Did she say Pell Grant? That’s for older people going back to school.
GOOD MORNING HAWAII!
If there is a 13th game, I hope that it will either result in a full stadium – which means it has to be a big-time team or
one that will come on their own dime (i.e. transportation & expenses) and either pay us or come for a minimum so that we can make a profit.
#22,
No its not lol.
# 24, heh. A Grease thought it ws, normally. Anyway . . . shouldn’t athletes be elig’ for other sports-based scholarships? Pell Grant is finite. Anyway, whoaskedyou? Hahhaah, just kidding w/ya! 😛 .
doris say anything good?
December 8 : Penn State University or Temple University
The logistics and planning to put this together is going to be a female dog.
Ah, soo desu . . . Pell Grant is for low-income who have not received their first bachelor’s. Um, ‘ccording to Wikipedia, a drug conviction impedes you from further/additional aid. So, Pell Grantsters need to stay clean.
ST & Tsaiko Blog Dogs:
I hope this is the week the team turns it around…
Go Warriors!
ST,
Don’t you think we need a name for this possible 13th game? How’s about the UH Invitational Bowl or something like that?
GO WARRIORS!!!!!!!!!
Any of youse been through Denver International Airport? Got some nutty designs in there. Heard that airport is not where an airport s/b situated. Oh, well. A Grease ain’t an “airport-maker.”
The current season ticket holders attend for free in their same seats BOWL….
🙄 🙄
Morning Tsaikos!
Wouldn’t the NCAA disapprove the game if Penn St were to come? Wouldn’t they consider it their bowl game? Looks like it would more likely be Temple.
If the game were to be played, then I think they might look at a flat-rate fee. It wouldn’t be part of the season-ticket package, I don’t think, although it should be since I believe UH fans already are paying for a seventh home game, right?
Denver International Airport is cool. The main terminal is huge with virtually a shopping mall in it. The gates are further away from the main terminal which require you to take a light rail underground to the desired gate location….which i think is pretty cool.
The airport itself was moved from the metro downtown area to about 10 – 20 miles out in open space to accomodate for expansion for the regional areas.
Jun Tao:
I like the Denver airport.
What I don’t like is that auto-voice: “Smith. Bob Smith. Please report to Gate 6. Jones. Greg Jones. Please report to Gate 5 …”
“If it is Penn State” part II — Nittany Lions will be in their all-white.
Warriors must needs their all-black (yes, pants included) for this one.
Temple? An owl coos, indeed.
This is whata Grease is talkin’ ’bout, though. You hardly hear that kind in other airports. It’s like “code” or something.
Something very Langoliers about that airport for some reason . . .
O’Hare airport’s PA system is good. Reminds me of catholic mass at times.
any news on 1420 this morning?
Looks like redshirt freshman Conner Smith is starting this weekend. Should he get hurt during the game, McElwain said his backup will be a 300 lb defensive lineman. And, the backup can’t run, which is a good thing.
Not sure if anyone mentioned this, but Rob Akey is looking for a job.
#43,
There is a PAC12 school in Colorado that desperately needs a coach. He should get ready to apply there. The End Of Embree is near.
TELEVISION: The game will be televised by Time Warner Cable SportsNet in HD, and can be seen in Colorado on KTVD-20, with Kanoa Leahey (play-by-play) and Darnell Arceneaux (analyst) calling the action and Lori Santi reporting from the sidelines.
RADIO: CSU fans can find the radio broadcast on the Colorado State Radio Network, originating from AM 560 KLZ in Denver, with Brian Roth (play-by-play), former Rams great David Anderson (analyst), Kevin McGlue (analyst) and Marty Cesario (sidelines) on the call. The radio broadcast can also be heard on KCOL 600 AM in Ft. Collins, KSIR 1010 AM in Ft. Morgan and KNZZ 1100 in Grand Junction.
RAMS vs. WARRIORS
All-time, overall: 11-9
All-time, in Fort Collins: 7-2
All-time, in Honolulu: 4-7
First meeting: Dec. 12, 1925 in Honolulu; Hawai’i won 41-0
Last meeting: Oct. 4, 1997, in Fort Collins; CSU won, 63-0
Okay, nuff for now…
Denver Intl Airport:
We had a 3.5 hour lay over on the way back from the Florida game and I decided to walk the United terminal which went on for ever.
Finally stopped mid-way and asked a worker how long is the terminal – response 1 mile one-way.
44. I approve this message. 😉
I’m not seeing anything in the Breaking News section about a 13th game. But since it is being talked about, didn’t Penn State already get told that they wouldn’t be allowed to add Hawaii to the schedule? I thought it was something that was talked about in the Spring.
Wyoming might need a new HC after this season, too.
Sometimes these coaching changes are like sailors getting a change of underwear on a boat that has been adrift at sea for weeks….
You! Change with him.
Jose, you change with me…
Jonesy… you change with Marcus…
Good morning everyone!
I heard, and this may have changed, that Penn State wouldn’t be able to take advantage of the 13th game exemption while on probation. If the game the infraction occured before the schedule date, that would be the only way they can use that exception.
Could be wrong, tho.
Ohayooooooooooooogozaimasu, SteveM.
Thought Wyoming already has a coach, or is it an interim coach?
DeWayne Walker is probably on the hot seat at NMSU. Akey could apply there…
kev-1,
If that is the case Temple just made its way to the front of the line. If we continue our record, I can’t see Temple drawing any kind of crowd.
This is really attention-grabbing, You are an excessively skilled blogger. I’ve joined your rss feed and look forward to in search of extra of your magnificent post. Also, I have shared your website in my social networks
No, wait. Misread. Thought I read Montana.
I doubt Christensen will be fired anytime soon. However, if he keeps on losing, I’m sure his stock is rising in terms of being canned.
Since IWWTHM was inquiring about Chow’s weekly press conference earlier, its posted on the athletic website.
http://hawaiiathletics.com/index.aspx?path=football
Record aside, I’m stoked about another game, should it happen. Sure, Temple is not really a draw, but another game is. For me at least.
Seeing Coach Chow’s weigh-in on the Wonderblunder(buss) in Honolulu Star-Advertiser‘s Breaking News article, here: Coach Chow weighs in on Wonder fumble By Ferd Lewis, POSTED: 09:07 a.m. HST, Oct 23, 2012, LAST UPDATED: 09:32 a.m. HST, Oct 23, 2012.
is laural and stutman gona be draft picks? i know edwards will be. thoughts?
Places where we refuse to go with the football team:
Boise – Fresno – Wyoming – Reno
Whoa! Snow and in the 30s and 40s?!?! A-House, Boise isn’t THAT bad (cute little town with good Mexican food. 🙂 )…put Ruston, LA on that list. Ruston was one of the worst experiences we’ve had there.
The interim HC in Idaho is Jason Gesser, former St. Louis and Wazzou QB.
I hope Edwards won’t leave for the NFL but he took a chance on UH and I am grateful. Best of luck to him if he leaves.
Good Morning Tsaikos!!! Hope all have a great day!!!
Just like the old WAC again. In the new WAC we went out (Rustin & Las Cruces) now we going up (Fort Collins & Laramie) again.
I heard about the snow too. I’m just hoping it’ll be sunny in Cali!!
I do not consider going to away games in cities without a port. 🙄
…hey, if I’m spending all that air fare…
Mike Lafaele was on Leahey and Leahey last week and I thought he had some fighting words. Hope we can use that as motivation.
Coach was fined $50,000 and suspended for this week’s game “after” video of his post-game tirade against Air Force on Oct. 13 surfaced on YouTube.
Methinks, Christensen is no longer a big fan of YouTube.
Anyone intested in listening to the MWC Coaches teleconference?

PowderPuff:
Spot on!! Ruston should definitely be on that “don’t ever go list”.
Another Tsiako also said Boise was a nice place to visit at the last tailgate – very quaint and picturesque – sounds like any old New England town/village.
A-house,
I liked my trip to Boise (just not the game result). Fans were cool, especially when I shared the Kalbi I had cooked up. Looking forward to Fort Collins this weekend. On Friday I’ll be doing my own walk through: New Belguim Brewery Tour. 🙂
I beloved up to you will obtain performed proper here. The sketch is tasteful, your authored subject matter stylish. nevertheless, you command get bought an impatience over that you would like be delivering the following. sick no doubt come more beforehand again as exactly the similar nearly a lot continuously inside of case you shield this hike.
So, this is kind of off subject BUT related to football, or rather high school sports; that bill that the teen testified for now requires parents to attend concussion awareness if your child participates in a school sport. Concussions are a serious matter.
So was there any official announcement about what school wanted to schedule the 13th game?
If there is a 13th game will season ticket holders have it included or will we have to buy a ticket?
Patience, folks. If it happens, there will be official announcement of the 13th game.
jojo,
Howzit!
TFTI! 😉
That’s good news about the awareness program for parents. Hopefully, more than a few take the info to heart.
My trip to BOI was pretty good, too.
Got together with some other Tsaikos before and after the game.
The game itself was < memorable.
Heads up!
4,100 pounds of ground beef products from Hawaii are being recalled on fears that they may be contaminated with E. coli O157:H7.
http://eatocracy.cnn.com/2012/10/23/multi-state-beef-recall-tied-to-potential-e-coli-contamination/?hpt=hp_c2
So no Mac Dubious for a few days, all right? 😉
….that’s the $h1ts
I don’t tink MickeyD’s was on the list in the story but Rainbow’s Dollah Chili might be verboden!
Does anyone else find it ironic that on the Breaking News page of the SA, there is an article about Hawaii being tops among states least likely to have deer – vehicle mishaps AND an then an article about a man in the hospital because he collided with a deer while on his ATV?
It says the man is in stable condition, so I think it is okay to find the irony humorous.
Boise is a typical college town.
Lots of ‘taters, too!
Re: #82 madeinhawaii:
Per the StarAdvertiser on the meat recall:
“A majority (of the meat recalled) include fast-food restaurants such as Rainbow Drive-In, Halawa Korean BBQ and Ala Moana Poi Bowl. Four elementary schools — Honowai Elementary School, Kipapa Elementary, Lehua Elementary and Lunalilo Elementary — also received the ground beef.
The three short film/South Korean offering Doomsday Book, shown at the recently completed — on Oahu, at least — Hawaii International Film Festival (HIFF) included a sci-f treatment on the warnings of feeding food wastes back to cattle, which would inevitably be consumed by humans (read: would turn such humans into zombies, heh). Made the yakiniku-style kal-bi cooked beef look GOOD in that movie, though, hahahahah.
I also thought that if your were on probation, as PSU is, you couldn’t schedule Hawaii to get around bowl prohibition. Anyone know the facts?
OOOh geeze.. the elementary schools! … Hope none of the kids get sick. That’s scary. Rainbow Drive-In, too. Wonder how many Tsaikos went there over the past week? Since the 17th, they say?
Hodad,
If it’s not written into the probationary terms, then the teams are not restricted. USC restriction was clearly spelled out.
99 Club:
Are you driving or flying to Fort Collins – home of the 4th Mech Division (if my memory serves me right)?
I went to Blackhawk and Central City and found like 28 casinos – many tiny ones in old rustic buildings from the silver/gold mining days and collected the dollar and $5 slot coins
Second casino I walked into, I met a lady who grew up in the town where the Spam manufacturing plant is located in Minnesota – she knew all about the large consumption of spam in Hawaii – her Dad was an employee there.
Interesting how wearing a Hawaii shirt will be a magnet to former isle residents or students – same happened in San Diego – we met 2 females who were born/raised in Hawaii with family still here and 4 or 5 guys who went to UH – all approached us to say “hello”.
Thank you a bunch for sharing this with all people you really recognize what you’re speaking approximately! Bookmarked. Please also discuss with my site =). We can have a link alternate agreement among us
91. Thats what I heard. Ever since Alabama made use of the Hawaii Exemption, the NCAA loophole to schedule a thirteenth game was closed for schools that were sanctioned.
I thought any beef that was tainted with e-Coli was okay as long as it was cooked thoroughly. Meaning, it can’t be eaten medium rare or raw like beef tartare.
I seem to recall there was mention of Cincinnatti or Pittsburg, along with Temple, as possible schools to schedule a game with Hawai this year.
wafan #87:
your tater comment caused me to stop and look at my “tater people” list – it has speck taters; comment taters; dick taters; agie taters; hezzie taters; emma taters; and most important are the “sweet taters” who always lend a helping hand and bring sunshine into the lives of others.
Yes, Mr. Tam, McKinley High School, “human nature sucks”, but there are many “sweet taters” who bring joy to so many.
Frankly, I wouldn’t want a 13th game, as the D-line is depleted.
Still got 5 more conference games, hope we have enough manpower to “survive”.
If there is a 13th game, I’d pick UMASS; we kinda in the same boat, W-L wise.
c.o.l – chuckling out loud.
I thought I read (when they first announced sanctions) that Penn St could not play Hawaii as it was like a Bowl game for them at season’s end. I’d rather watch Temple than host Penn St just because of karma.
It would be sad to have Mike Edwards go next season, but if he can show the scouts outstanding numbers at Pro Say, he might have chance. I want to see these guys finish college , tho.
Pau Lan-Chow-ah. Laters…
I’m sure Rolo is happy that Ault gave him a job that gave him an opportunity to get out of that coaching gig at UMASS.
I was surprised to see Nevada lose to San Diego last week.
What I find interesting is that Mike is ranked top ten in every category except interception. He has the numbers for pass defended and kickoff returns, but as far as interceptions, he has yet to log one in that category.
Mike would be better off if he stayed next year, in my opinion. He should also consider if the draft is thin at his position.
Nevada’s pass defense has always been a question mark. No consistency in the secondary and they give up some big plays in pass coverage.
Game would have been a sure win if not for those questional pass interference calls from that one line judge.
1. Mike Edwards – son you should run for the hills while you can. Best of luck to brother – he can play.
2. Why would we want another game this year? Another chance to be whupped up on? Tell ’em wait till next year.
3. Anybody comment on Darnell as a broadcaster? I admit I’m a simpleton, but I really like him. He’s smart. Knows the game. Articulate. Just wish he had better games to call, but again, wait till next year!
Interesting news about a possible 13th game. If they don’t give first choice to season ticket holders to remain in their seats, or don’t allow people with parking passes to use it, I would anticipate a lot of those people not to show up. Going from showing up late and having a parking space and reserved seat, to fighting the crowd for a first come, first served thing, it isn’t going to work.
Wait…what ? I’ve been a season ticket holder since 1975. We normally have 7 home games as part of package.
Like ST indicated, season ticket holders are already paying for 7 home games. This year is one of the few where we DON’T have a 13 game schedule. Since 2002 we have had only 3 years with 12 games.
2002 10-3 – 13 games
2003 9-4 – 13 games
2004 7-6 – 13 games
2005 5-7 – 12 games
2006 10-3 – 13 games
2007 12-0 – 12 Games
2008 7-6 – 13 games
2009 6-7 – 13 games
2010 10-3 – 13 games
2011 6-7 – 13 games
2012 ?-? – 12 games
Maybe i’m missing something, but why would Penn State be different?
45-10 Colorado State.
UH’s score will be from defensive score and field goal. No points by offense.
I do not even know how I finished up right here, however I assumed this post used to be good. I do not recognize who you might be however certainly you’re going to a famous blogger should you are not already. Cheers!
Mike Edwards is not getting interceptions simply because they are not throwing the ball his way. If/When he gets drafted, it’ll be as a return man. I think he’s as good or better than Ryan Mouton, who was a 3rd round draft pick and is a starter for the Titans in is 4th year. I predict 2nd or 3rd round for Edwards. I’d hate to see him go, but he should go now, while his stock is hot.
Gee, it’s been a while since UH played CSU. They had some good teams under Sonny Lubick, but have been down recently. Not many local players from Hawaii have played for CSU. The last one, I think, being Todd Schmidt from Damien back in the early to mid 80s. I think they filmed the old Robby Benson basketball movie “One on One” at CSU back in the 70s. No California schools would allow filming back them (now we know why).
Yup, I was thinking the same thing– that’s why no additional comment on my post #51 this morning. I was going to say, “Don’t bother scheduling a 13th game this year if you are gong to charge your season ticket holders extra”. You will do more PR damage than good.
I don’t know about the rest of the dwindling season ticket holder base, but I definitely would not pay extra to attend.
Another game and another tailgate?? I’m down!!! But if the team is asking for $200,000 to be wired, I hope upper campus reconsiders…
after watching the San Diego St and Nevada and BYU and USC games – conclusion is that UH does not have the speed, size, and strength to match up with those teams and any another team in that category – notice how the RB nearly always falls forward for 3 – 5 yards while UH RBs are stopped cold at or near the point of contact.
the San Diego St RB, true Freshman, was about 5′ 11″ and 215 #s – but he had the quickness to go outside and brute strength inside to push UH defense back – two words: quick and strong. on the “inside runs, credit the Oline to create huge gaps to run through.
UH needs the MLB to be just as quick and strong or stronger to push back the RBs
sititng at the north endzone, you can see the large holes/gaps and I keep looking for the UH LBs – no where is sight
Is it cold or are you happy to see me?
I’d like Edwards to stay for his Senior year to bring closure to his past and get a degree…However, I wouldn’t blame him for taking the opportunity to earn money versus playing on another losing season.
Maybe they should charge season ticket holders a toy or canned food for entrance… then donate the proceeds to the salvation army and food bank … after all .. it’s Xmas…
while sitting in the lobby for Mrs A-House, I began tapping out morse code and it reminded me of the Airborne, Ranger, Special Forces staff sgt who was back at Ft Devens, Mass to sharpen his morse code skills – he would sit by himself and start writing and it was fast – our instructor tells us that he is copying at 48 words a minute – dang, here I thought I was doing good at 15 words per minute.
oh well, some got it and others don’t!
yestadayz #97 & 118. don’t forget guys, obama for his first 2 years had both the house and senate when he took office and did nothing but add to the national debt. This summer, Bill Clinton got caught on video blaming the democrates for stonewalling everything in congress.
obama could have passed anything he wanted for the good of the country, but chose do almost nothing. we don’t even have a budget since he’s been in office, for 4 years now. i could go on and on, but this is a sports blog. so i will stop there.
I honestly don’t care about paying for the last game, but if I pay for it, I want my seat. I do not want to have to race for a seat. Also, for parking, I don’t mind paying something, but if those who have parking passes have to race for a parking stall, then I know others who would not attend.
Tony Tuioti used to coach the UH defensive line last year. This year he is coaching the linebackers. I think this years defensive line coach may lack experience coaching that position. Perhaps Tony and the defesive line coach this year should switch coaching duties.
Pomai. Hawaii 27 CSU 35 🙁
Can make all kinds of stats, like the 20 years under Reagan and the Bush’s or Bushes the national debt increased every single year. No matter anyhow, my vote not going count since I’m not in that special college.
And next year more of my earnings will go to SS. Good to know I will be supporting my parents.
Lastly, GO WARRIORS!
122. reagan is widely respected as the greatest president of our generation by both republicans AND democrats. don’t forget also, reagan took over after the inept jimmy carter years.
when you include reagan in your argument you lose credibility in your statement. IMO
Season ticket holder here. I would not pay extra to see a 13th game. On the other hand, if this season were like 2007, I might allow my arm to be twisted.
Oh Reaganomics, raising our national debt from $997 billion to $2.85 trillion. Now what did he say about that? Something like the greatest disappointment of his presidency. It’s only stats so no get all worked up about it. Besides, he was a good president.
Carter got criticized for his strict austerity programs.. but thanks to those austerity programs, Reagan enjoyed a period of great prosperity.
Carter got criticized for his strict austerity programs.. but thanks to those austerity programs, Reagan enjoyed a period of great prosperity.
13th game. No need. Just enjoy the holiday season.
I remember two years ago global economists were praising Obama saying that the steps he took probably saved the world from another depression.
During his first two years, the economy was in dire straits. Foreclosures were destroying the family structure of the US. Seemingly indestructable companies were ready to go belly up. Addressing these left no money to fund much else as Bush had already spent all that with his search for weapons of mass destruction and Bin Laden… Oh yeah, Obama had to get the US out of that mess, too. Didn’t he also get Bin Laden?
Also no forget the blog demographics. Kennedy is in some of the bloggers generation.
😳
Sorry, Sailor Blue.
SEALS got him!
Obama had a good stimulus plan when he took office. Never worked out how he wanted but we all were happy when he carried over the Bush tax cuts.
Could be the tax cuts affected $$$’s for government but did give me a few more spending $$$’s. So I blame myself for not contributing to the federal reserves and spending.
Ok, politics all pau. Back to sports and other non-related topics.
@d1shima
Good one!
126. thats like saying thanks to Reagan and H.Bush, Clinton enjoyed his prosperous years. lol
Interesting. Where did you see the data on that?
132+1
I get the decided impression that madeinhawaii supports President Obama and is a rabid Democrat.
I get the decided impression that SAWarrior supports Gov. Romney and is a rabid Republican.
I wish we had more rabid WARRIOR supporters.!
Oh, alright, HiFlyer.
There was probably someone from the USAF in the mix, too! 😉
Yeah, probably the air force techie that had the remote control for the drone.
gogiga
Side note: President Kennedy was responsible for the formation of the SEALs.
From Wikipedia:
…he was also responsible for Executive Order No. 10988.
(the clik clik clik of Gugu searches)
Hmm, I read on another forum that the Hawaii-CSU game would be on Oceanic PPV and online streaming, but when I just checked their website, its not listed. What gives…
Col. A-house ~
To copy & send IMC @ 15/15 groups per minute was only one of several requirements to draw pro pay. Just staying alive was the hardest part!
Hmm.. does that mean that if I bite someone, will they turn into a democrat?
129. don’t forget 9/11, WE got attacked— you’re making it sound like it was our fault being in Afghanistan. Bin Laden did say he was taking the war to America, more bombings etc… on soft targets.
On Iraq, after 9/11, 4-5 different countries intelligence services told bush that iraq was planning a 9/11 type attack on the USA and it’s imminent. bush acted only after the russian prez putin told bush the same thing….what would you do?
for 11 years iraq (sadddam hussain) kicked out the UN inspectors there to make sure irag destroyed there weapons of mass destruction. no one knew what saddam had. weapons of mass destruction is defined as nuclear. biological and chemical.
i don’t blame bush’s decision to go to iraq, he made the best decision he could with the intelligence he received.
If you bite someone who ate at Rainbows this week you might end up being a sick Dem!
Vice making the decision to advance the best story you can after getting the intelligence you had…
Here I was thinking that things couldn’t get any worse for our football team and that the only way left was up… till this came out..
If we lose to CSU, we could still go down a notch or two! ;-(
I had no problem going into Afghanistan… but to start a second war while you’re still engaged in another, all the while the economic barometer was pointing downwards? …
I understand Bush’s dilemma, he based his decision on the intelligence he had… 😉
Matchup of the year: UMASS at Hawaii.
mebbe get chance.
I’d like to know who told Geraldo where to find Capone’s vault.
uppah campus:
Might be the start of something new.. the bottom two battle it out at the end of the season!
129. one more thing, obama isn’t getting us out of iraq…. it’s president bush’s timetable that obama is using. bush set the date when we where to leave iraq. bush negotiated that in 2007. lol
all of bush policies, gitmo, water boarding, wire-tapping, intel gathering etc… everything obama was against and said he would close/stop is what help find and enable our seals to kill bin laden. and don’t you notice obama kept almost all of bush’s policies? including tax-cuts lmao.
the virus that infected/disrupted the iraninian nuclear program and set it back for a few years was started by president bush. lol
what has obama done? and as a disclaimer, i’m not a republican or democrat, but registered as no party affiliation. both sides have bad and good about them….both sides lie, tell half-truths etc…
151. Here’s another way to look at things.
Hawaii is ranked 162nd in Jeff Sagarin’s computer ranking. Sagarin’s rankings include FBS and FCS schools, meaning Hawaii is worse than about 40 FCS schools.
152. bush had no choice to go to iraq.
i hope u and everyone reading this understands that the #1 priority of any sitting US president is NATIONAL SECURITY, its not the economy. that is a FACT. bush did his job the best he could with the intelligence he received from many other countries, not just ours.
Shoko,
Gee thanks… that made my day… 😉

I agree with you my friend. Simpleton or not, I too appreciate Darnell Arceneaux as color analyst on OC Sports. I love the team of him and RK. Entertaining, knowledgeable, fun stuff.
Go Warriors!
Thank God South Alabama is ranked 168.
I always look at it as UH sports is an entertainment option.
If you want to go to a game, go to a game.
If you don’t want to go, don’t go.
The difference is if you don’t want to go to an Adam Sandler movie, you don’t go on and on and on and say the same disgruntled comments over and over and over again.
This is what happens when Cindy’s blog goes on hiatus.
Hey, I like Adam Sandler.
Anyway, if there’s a 13th game. I’ll be there writing about it.
Maybe I’ll be the only one in the stadium, but I’ll be there.
The Waterboy and 50 First Dates are probably my favorites.
137. no im not a republican. im registered as having no party affiliation.
voting for candidates solely because of your party affiliation and ideology is narrow-minded IMHO. they’re good and bad on both sides. i support and vote for who i think will help this country the most. the best candidate regardless of which party their attached to.
I’m sure if there isn’t a 13th game, you’ll still be writing about it. 😉
Get some people passionate about politics. No make no difference who get the top job, Congress is all screwed up so until there are term limits for those folks, we will live with semi paralysis. Common sense, compromise and such things that work for the people are not there.
When people in Congress sign pacts that say they will absolutely not raise taxes ( BTW I hate it but pay it), call it a day…all pau. No such thing as compromise. The other side just as bad, no cut this, no cut that. Knuckleheads..all.
Let’s talk Warrior football.
“Wedding Singer” is my favorite.
I think I’ve seen every movie except “Jack and Jill.”
What? It was not about oil?
ST- i’ll be there too!
The 13th game..
sounds like a title for another paranormal horror/thriller movie…
We can have a resurrected Magnum PI and McGarrett team up…
Yep. It’ll be me and Jack Flash in the stadium by ourselves.
Of course, it’s going to be interesting when Jack Flash starts the wave.
Then I will have to set my DVR for the game… just in case the cameras pan both of you guys.
Dave Reardon tweeting that it is Temple University.
Oh well…….
MIH:
What makes you think it will be televised?
May as well plan for a concert the same day as the 13th game.
Maybe move the Luau to the stadium after Game XIII?
Wedding Singer hands down.
Owls?
Good. No need worry about airfare….
Dang it! Missed out on the chance to snag these two in 2020 and ’21.
http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/8543353/oregon-ducks-ohio-state-buckeyes-play-home-home-series-2020-21
167. yes congress is sh!t. but, as a leader of this country don’t you think it’s up to the president to LEAD? if there is deadlock in congress shouldn’t the president, as a LEADER, show LEADERSHIP and work with the GOP to get things moving? u scratch my back, i’ll scratch yours kinda thing.
Bill Clinton figured it out and worked with the GOP (pizzed off the democrats) and got the country moving forward. clinton, after his first 2 years in office figured out he had to work with all of congress and not just the democrats to get things going. for all his faults, at least clinton was a leader and knew how to lead.
bill clinton got caught on camera blaming the democrates for stonewalling in congress. go figure.
okay, GO WARRIORS!!

Well, he should know the identity of the team since I told the office last week.
But he was supposed to keep it hush-hush because we were hiding it from the TV guys.
Oh, well. Another name to add to my: “Don’t Rob A Bank With This Person” list.
Have you folks seen The 13th Warrior? Antonio Bandaras as an Arab fighter who runs into vikings? Based on Crichton’s (whose recent posthumous Micro takes place heavily on Oahu) Eaters of the Dead.
Yeah, yeah, no huhu, you fine people. Trust in Tsai; he be among the first to know, he be the one of the first to tell us.
Major trust issues from posteurs on this board when it comes to UH Warrior issues. Simmah dah, nah, simmah dah. Trust in Tsai. Trust in Chow.
Up to you when it comes to Geeny “Granny” beany and Apple of my eye. 😉
#185,
Lol. Just out of curiosity, what kind of mask would you use?
We used to call a friend rubba lips cause he could not keep secrets.
I liked Mr. Deeds.
Also, when planning a bank job don’t put the chinese guy in charge of supplies.
i thought we were playing a big name school. temple lol
I don’t have the time to devote all day to the WB, so I hop in when I can. SA Warrior is still talking politics! Wow!
Well, since we will be in India on election day, hubby and I voted absentee. Looks like Romney will have TWO FEWER VOTES. Ha!
Yeah, saw the Banderas movie. Should’ve used Morgan Freeman, he makes a good Arab.
Doesn’t Frazier work for Temple? Would be ironic if UH plays them.
# 184 — “an owl coos” is an expression a Grease used wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyheyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy before any talk of this 13th Warrior (see # 186) game was brought forth. Grease an insider? Perhaps merely a Greasetradamous?
Let’s hope it’s Penn State. They could benefit from this isles’ blessings . . . I mean, look at Notre Dame nowadays post-kicked Warrior butt-in-pokey that on Aloha Bowl that Warriors should have won.
Failzier is at Syracuse.
People who make a living breaking into houses scan FB, blogs, social networks, etc. to see who is going on vacation. Too easy to get their home address. Just saying.
# 191 — heh, better hope he lose . . . else you both get problems coming back into the U.S., heh ;).
well, I am going to bow out for now. thanks for your time!
191. hi ms gigi, yes i was still talking politics, sorry. i hope you and hubby have a great time in india. i likey indian food, yummo. beautiful females there too!!!
196. post it again, i missed it.
Yep, when you tweet its out there for everyone to know.
# 192 Jimmy the lock. Sweet irony, then, no? 13th Warrior; 13th Warrior game.
😀
LOL at your #185, ST.
Kekoa/A-house, that particular MOS schoolhouse has moved out to Ft. Huachuca, AZ. That’s right, they still teach it.
A-house,
I’m flying into Denver and driving up to Ft Collins, probably in the snow now from the looks of things. Got my gov’t issue long johns ready for the game!
Billy Idol’s Dancing With Myself playing in Foodland right now. 🙂
I’ve been reciting the mantra…
I will not get into political discussion on WB…
I will not get into political discussion on WB…
I will not get into political discussion on WB…
But Geez I just gotta say one thing… Did people forget where we were 4 years ago?!?!?!!?? Compare that to today… The Dow Jones hit 6500 in 2008… 6500!!!
ST,
Happy Gilmore may be the greatest movie of all time… 🙂

At least my stock portfolio rebounded and I still have a job.
An owl hoots. A pigeon coos.
Right?
I am so burnt out and so confused.
Thought this was a political blog for a bit.
Yep, Happy Gilmore is on the fav list, too. Worst Sandler movie was probably Grown Up. Can’t believe they had the audacity to make Grown Up 2!
ST: the buggah w’en “scoop” you.

Well, he should know the identity of the team since I told the office last week.
But he was supposed to keep it hush-hush because we were hiding it from the TV guys.
Oh, well. Another name to add to my: “Don’t Rob A Bank With This Person” list.
Temple?
Has Greenwood or Freitas been pulling the strings?
Interesting comment by Chow about administration.
And sometimes this is a blog for teachers to vent about parents and meetings.
Mr. Tsai . . .
Better to rob the bank by yourself.
No need to share the take.
Your friend(s) and family will miss you . . . for a while.
jimmy . . .
HA! At least I do not carry on, and on, and on, about it like someone.
#193 GIGI – should you be glancing from time to time –
Herman Frazer is now at Ass. AD at Syracuse.
Never talk about politics or the Great Pumpkin!
I think Chow blames Stevie Wonder for this whole mess UH is going through.
Shoko,
Are they really making a Grown Ups 2???? (SMH)
Hollywood can’t come up with any new ideas anymore… Everything is a sequel, remake, or reboot…
Reminds me of repub…. Wait I need to recite my mantra again….
I am going to be so glad when the lying season is over.
Then we can get back to our regularly weird posts like food.
“Herman Frazer is now at “Ass. AD” at Syracuse.”
Thats pretty funny. Even tho you probably didn’t mean to.
Diogenes . . .
“Herman Frazer is now at Ass. AD . . . ”
I thought he was already that at UH.
* * * COSTA RICAN EARTHQUAKE * * * per FOX radio news, FYI.
JINX!
220. Yep, its in post-production right now. I may have bought Grown Ups on bluray, but I’m not wasting my money on the sequel!
Strange minds think alike…heh.
An. Owl. Can. Coo. [stares]
Okay, I exceeded my number of post today.
Night, folks!
Night Shoko.
I am still in disbelief about grown ups 2…
6.6 won’t generate a Pacific-wide tsunami.
Just a bump in the road on the way to 12.21.2012.
Hmmmmm.
So the saying should be, “Give a coo, don’t pollute!”
Sorry, I cannot do a staring contest. My eyes dry out.
Hooooooooooot!
Adam Sandler movies… all the same.
Idiot goofball is screwing up in life, runs across some hot girl with a BF or no interest in him, does some crazy stuff and wins the girl.
What the hell happened to Adam Sandler in high school? What childhood fantasies stemmed from past disappointments is he trying to vicariously undo?
Dude, you are rich. Get over it already.
Oh, mercy. 13th game opponent is known then? An owl cries.
99club ~ I knew the pro pay incentive would go away after ‘nam. We all grumbled too much about having to be tested in these MOS essentials after surviving the war…the ultimate pass or fail. So they took it away!
The ‘bursters’ added more speed than the butterfly rigs 99c. Made it easy in a pinch. Huachuca Intell folks built a kingdom for their craft out in the vastness of the AZ. Outback.
Adam Sandler movies…
Guess no one saw “Funny People”? I liked that one.
Remember, uh, when, uh . . . a Grease asked if you fine SA sports folks held meetings?
Wait, wait!!!!! Not the face, Mr. Tsai, not the face!!!!! A Grease too handsome 🙂 .
Ok got it. My earlier post was evidence of my Portageeness. I nevah realize they want to add a game THIS season. That’s unreal.
Penn State is one thing. Now Temple has approached Hawaii about trying to schedule a football game this December. Eh, whoever.
If this comes to fruition, then UH needs to give all season ticket holders a ticket. We pay the same if we have 6 home games or 7 home games. Not to mention the $$$ I paid for parking in the inner circle. I made my donations as did many season ticket holders. C’mon man, don’t charge us again !
I no like see the blog host sitting all by himself in a 50,000 seat stadium. Actually, that would be kinda funny.
Hahahahaahahhahah!!! Ah. A Grease cannot do a staring contest, either, so, why he acting 🙂 , yeah?
Anyway, the owl’s crying now due to comments from the rear.
“If you don’t, whooooooooooo [cooooooooooooo] will?” hahahahaha. Right on, wafan.
i agree easy on the politics…
don’t forget, there are people who absolutely do not believe 9-11 happened the way the media and government say it did.
we got plenty to argue about with this year’s team 🙂
Well, since everybody is giving away my secrets, here’s one: the Kansas State left tackle was the “mystery” guy.
and as for edwards….
brah, if the opportunity is there take it. truthfully, i don’t think there’s any reason for edwards to comeback. the guy is like from another planet compared to the rest of the team…in my opinion.
RE: Admin story is Star-Advertiser
I would like to think Chow’s comments are just obligatory since the current admin has not been removed yet.
How can you overlook the fact the trouble really started when Greenwood feigned knowledge, threw JD and Sheriff under the bus to further her agenda, and spent a lot of money trying to cover it all up? Then cry about “political pressure”.
I think the politicians did the right thing, and truly represented the outrage many of their constituents might have felt. I don’t think it’s done yet. With all the money UH is wasting, doesn’t the state House have a say in budget/funding?
ST,
Thank you for finally saying that. It’s been killing me for months about who your mystery guy was…
Wait that may sound a little bit wrong…
has apple produced the emails from 43 of 44 coaches yet?
Well ST, at least the SA did scoop the TV guys.
http://www.staradvertiser.com/news/breaking/175525641.html?id=175525641
Provided UH can make some money doing this (even if it’s not a lot), I say go for it. Playing Temple will give our young players that much more game experience to build on for next season.
Hey, Mr. Tsai, my good buddy gave Adam Sandler surf lessons in Waikiki a couple years back. Said he was down to earth, a good brother, not arrogant at all. The Warrior Beat chicks may be jealous of me – ran into Steve McGarrett and Dan-O shooting a scene on Kawaiahao Street today. McGarrett looks cool, but Dan-O only comes up to my neck, and I’m only 5-10. Appreciate what those boys are doing for Hawaii though, and catch the show when I can.
# 240 . . . uh . . . oh. Eek.
Howzit Tsaikos!
Had to go get gas today at Costco cuz I couldn’t go yesterday (long story). Good thing I waited. Prices at Iwilei station – 4.09/4.29! As I entered the 4.29 price into the GasBuddy app, I got this message that it looked too low and was I sure? Hell, yeah, I’m sure.
jojo – dunno if it’s the case at other schools, but MPI now requires all student athletes in “high-risk” sports to undergo a baseline concussion assessment every year (season?). I’m assuming the sports include football, basketball, soccer, judo, wrestling, water polo, baseball, softball.
smart move by 3-3 temple
play a bad team to maybe get a 7th win and bowl game OR, the 13th game is your bowl game in hawaii win-win for temple
If it’s Temple, maybe I can get my college buddy to come out with his son who graduated from Temple. Would be good to see them.
Two topics from a Grease:
Mr. Tsai, so . . . how do you handle such, um, “relinquishing of your secrets” by another? Why is a Grease mind-imaging the scene from The Godfather where Don Vito admonishes Sonny to never let others know what you’re thinking?
2nd item . . . Here. From the Owl Dictionary at the ‘site, Signs of the Seasons
And from that About ‘site, animals category:
That “vocalisations” is the Brit’ spelling, yes? Can you believe they pronounce “aluminum” “alumininium”? So glad we’re won freedom away from them.
Anyway. An owl cries 🙁 .

Go Warriors!
ROAD WARRIORS.
Remember, it was only a few short years ago when we readily tossed around the term.
Current Warriors…..please play like the road warriors, and not the Rainbows of old when I sat in the stadiums of CSU and WYO and watched as the home teams mercilessly clobbered our local boys. Be Road Warriors, not rainbows who played with little heart, questionable pride, acted like it was too cold, and couldn’t wait to get back on the plane. Go pluck a victory out of Fort Fun. Thank you.
BIK
BIK ~ Have had an A-joe sighting yet?
No, not yet.

253. thank u for the vid. god bless america and our armed forces.
GO WARRIORS!!!!
Mountain West Conference has giving its blessing to UH for the Temple game. NCAA issues must still be resolved.
Not sure how I feel about this additional game…Hmmm….
You are most welcome SAWARRIOR. No matter what the politicians decide, the job has to be done.
Mega dittos SAWarrior’s # 258 re: # 253, thanks Kekoa. Great vid’. God Bless our brave men and women in the U.S. armed services.
Woah . . . Akamai . . .
Bill Cosby (yes. THAT “Bill Cosby”) attended Temple, yes? Didn’t he play football for them, too?
Cosby knows Stevie Wonder quite well a Grease would imagine, both of them gaining fame while helping Dr. King w/their fame alone.
Anyone think the concert’s still a remote dream? Well. It’s a light years dream now, heh.
so is coach chow gonna make the players sleep-walk arm in arm into the CSU game and wonder after the game why his team started so slow? lol
i know that’s not the only factor for the teams slow starts, but it sure as hell does not help to fire up the team.
I’ll go to the 13th game. Football is football.
I think Cos ran track. It was featured in an episode on The Cosby Show
…not to date myself. 🙄
Can the anti-Obama folks tell me how their stock portfolios have done since he took over, oh……and GO WARRIORS!!
Book da Owls, one mo chance fo tailgate. I hope my parking pass will still be good.
Some of youse might recall that the University of Hawaii (yeah, that University of Hawaii) was actually mentioned in a Cosby Show episode. Mentioned by Lisa Bonet’s character as she sheared down her list of potential schools to attend.
There seemed to be a bunch of “Hawaii” mentions in that show, it being scheduled ‘gainst Magnum P.I.. Think Cosby even wore Magnum’s same (woah!!!! Even 2012 World Series reference here) Detroit Tigers baseball cap once, eh?
Sorry. 😛
269. stocks go up and down. you should know that as an investor. and oh, heal-up warriors!!!
My faith in the free enterprise system despite the poor leadership in the White House was realized as my portfolio has rebounded in the past few years.
I think the company I work for is emblematic of many companies in that despite the challenges presented by the myopic policies, laws and regulations that have come up we managed to find a path to profitability and have enhanced the owner’s position. Ours is a privately held corporation but if there were public equities they would have gained.
BTW, we miss those co-workers who were down-sized and remember them fondly and hope that they have managed to escape the ranks of the other 23M unemployed.
what’s the latest on the Benghazi scandal? four murdered americans, ummmm………. GO WARRIORS!!!!
Uh. Morgan Freeman is NOT dead. At least not today . . . and probably not tomorrow, heck, let’s shoot for at least the rest of the week. Spread the word.
The heck these kinda’ rumors start?
Kekoa,
Incredible video
You asked.
Hope you don’t toss your cookies.
http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-18563_162-57538689/emails-detail-unfolding-benghazi-attack-on-sept-11/?tag=socsh
Dow did go down……… in the 6,000+ range if I recall. Second coming of the Depression was around the corner. Economy seems much better to me now. Barry should be getting thank you letters. At least he’s not “All over the map” on foreign policy. Nuf politics. Goooooooooooo Bows and Warriors!
277. a lot of democrats want to turn a blind eye on the obama administrations attempted cover-up of this attack and murders, calling it a “demonstration that got out of hand” over a video. it happened on 9/11/12, a demonstration?! it was a terrorist attack mr president, it happened on 9/11 with heavy weapons!!!
the very next day obama flew to vegas to campaign, what a joke.
# 277 d1shima, heh, who is asking? I did nai see the question.
Heh. A Grease believes the cbs news/benghazi link. 🙂
Thanks to Barry and his pal Ben and their monetary policy, your 12000 Dow $ won’t buy as many gallons of gas at $4.00+ per gallon!
CG

Ah, nuff already.
I suspect Hawaii will follow the trend in voting that was established by Camille Velasco and Jasmine Trias and vote for da local keed regardless of reality.
GO WARRIORS!
…back to watching Frasier on Netflix
# 282 d1shima, hai, doomo and soo desu, SAWarrior asked.
Took a while — taking a while? — for the Obama Administration to call the 9-11-2012 attack on the ambassador an act of terrorism.
Lively banter fellow Warriors. Agree to disagree. Das da Amerikan way! Back to football!
# 287, no, no 3-prong, we gonna contine this discussion through Nov. 6. Ha haaaaa, a Grease kids w/ya!!!
Well, you know, you go to the sportsbar, have cookouts w/your friends in ya’ll backyard, etc., other non-football topics WILL come up.
A Grease is a die-hard trust is Chow-ist. Give him the chance he deserves in his first season as head coach, etc. This doesn’t a Grease — and other pro-Chow-ists, can’t be nerjous ’bout this weekend’s game.
Complain or support a Chow . . . but, years from now, when Warriors are on the winning track, some of youse would do well to keep in mind what you post in these days, heh 🙂 .
#279 SAWARRIOR
IF WE MUST get into politics, please get your facts straight rather than letting your ideology get in the way of facts.
“Mr. Obama applied the “terror” label to the attack in his first public statement on the events in Benghazi, delivered in the Rose Garden at the White House at 10:43 a.m. on Sept. 12.
“No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation, alter that character or eclipse the light of the values that we stand for,” he said. “Today we mourn four more Americans who represent the very best of the United States of America. We will not waver in our commitment to see that justice is done for this terrible act. And make no mistake, justice will be done.”
In order for UH to play Temple on December 8, 2012, the need to do some of these things.
1) They need to get a special exemption approval from the NCAA because this is suppose to be a 14-week regular season for Division-1A football teams. (Conference Championship games is not included.) The December 1, 2012 game against South Alabama is the 14th week. Only the Army/Navy game on December 8, 2012 have that special exemption. This game is being played on week 15.
2) Aloha Stadium already scheduled “Island Youth Football League” event at on the same December 8, 2012 date. UH need try and ask them if they’re willing to move their reserved date to another day.
3) UH Men’s Basketball team plays Pepperdine at the Stan Sheriff Center on that same night at 7:00 p.m. which is scheduled to be televised on OC16 and broadcasted on ESPN1420 radio. So if football is played on the same night, what will UH do? Will they televise and radio broadcast the football game instead now?
4) Are they going to charge the season ticket holders an admission fee or will they let them in for free?
There’s probably more obstacles that UH have to resolve before declaring that the Temple at UH football game will be played.
# 288 D.S. — um, on The View (goodness. Here goes a Grease again, admitting he saw something on The View. Tsai, insert laugh here: _________________), in response to decidedly Leftie Joy Bahar’s question asking the president to clarify the hit on the ambassador, Obama said, quite clearly, quite succinctly, “we’re still investigating.” This appearance on The View by the president was way after the Rose Garden conference.
So, which is it???? Is the White House still investigating??? Or is this an act of terrorism????? The president ONLY said the safe “No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation, alter that character or eclipse the light of the values that we stand for,” (you said it yourself, D.S., above) — this statement can exist independent of what he (Obama) had to say about the Benghazi attack. And it’s reminiscent of Bill Clinton’s “I did not. Have. S3x with . . .” you know? Obama’s “No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation, alter that character or eclipse the light of the values that we stand for,” was safe for him to say.
“Terror” = what you get from a horror movie.
“Terrorism” = right on, Mr. Obama. You taking a stand. You calling the Beghazi attack for what it is.
Is the investigation STILL ongoing????? Obama wasn’t ready to answer that in this last and final debate.
You know a Grease comes here to The Warrior Beat to take a break from posting o’er at Political Radar. Sheesh. 😉
# # #
That is # 285, D.S. and not # 288, which hasn’t happened yet for this blog entry of Tsai’s 🙂 .
Good evening, Tsaikos and Tsaikettes. It’s Lounge Lizard time! [Bob James piano selection plays]. Driving tonight, folks, so a Grease’ll order a Coca Cola Zero [a Grease orders a Coca Cola Zero from the wait help.]
Hoooooweee, look at the topics we have for this evening:
• 13th Warrior game. Tickets free? Flat rate (as Tsai mentioned)? Can season tick’ holders keep their same seats?
• Politics, with a decided focus on Things U.S. Presidential and Benghazi.
• Regular UH football Warrior talk from youse akamai discussers (emphasis on “disgust”; a Grease kids with ya! :P).
I’ll order onion rings to start, for all of us to share. Let’s enjoy ourselves. 🙂
Can I get a quick green one? And thanks for the onion rings but gotta go. Work tomorrow. Aloha.
and if the 13th game is televised… where does the money flow?
Some people need to stop listening to Bill OReilly and Sean Hannity. Too much spin and too much hate.
Attack in Libya . . . yes there were communication errors and security concerns. Why is it so hard to believe that the government is still investigating? There is no denying at this point that it happened. There were obvious intelligence short sights. Huge government cover up? Come on, far from it. It seems what is happening here is the White House spoke way too soon before they had all the facts, and it bit them in the arse. Now they are being tight lipped to avoid the same. But Republicans want an all out confession/acceptance of blame, blah, blah. Wake up people, we are in the middle of the election. People will criticize Obama for the death of these 4 Americans, which he had nothing to do with. What about criticism in the other direction for using the death of these Americans as political amunition to boost support for your candidacy?
Don’t call democrats blind to the facts when republicans make the same intentional oversights and untruths. Anyone who has been following the election has seen Romney commit his fair share.
Leaning too far in either direction makes it hard to see what is happening right in front of you. Stand up straight. Vote based on your values and reason. Not because of what you hear talking heads say on tv. If your values make you a democrat, be proud to be one. If they make you a republican, be proud to be one. If it makes you hate one or the other, you are lacking values and reason.
good night to all my football homies and political rivals . . . haha
