Practice in the Northwest

Great practice today at Colfax High School. The highlight was the scuffle between linebacker Blaze Soares and offensive tackle Brett Leonard. It really sparked the practice.

The Warriors are staying in a hill-top hotel. Thing is, there are no street lights on the drive up. And the hotel is next to a cemetery. One of the coaches described the hotel as “The Shining.”

The airport is truly a neutral ground:

Blaze Soares has this message:

“The true fans stay on board. (To) the ones who don’t stay on board, no season is going to be perfect. … Keep with us. … It’s their choice. I can’t force anybody. I hope they stay on board. We have a lot of football games left. Just don’t give up on us. We’re going to try harder in each and every game.”

    Stay strong Warriors.

    Blaze,

you better believe we’re fans of the Warriors. Reading what the injured players are saying, this brudda is SO PROUD of you guys.

I am upset with the coaches though. something is not clicking just right.
an i expect improved coaching, people covering each oddaz backs
when i see da Safety running around in the backfield, literally looking like a chicken with its head cut off, and i’m looking at the sidelines trying for spy Rich, seein what he’s doin, I am beside myself, really. really!

I wuz literally screamin (from yellow CC, where I took shelter for da 2nd half cuz da rain fo cova my biru 😀 ~ plus, did you know day sell biru at da up level? ~ i wuz telling “help dat brudda out.” i wuz wavin my bannah, frustrated, but wavin my bannah. an i wen turn to my left, look straight across to da upstairs booth guys an wuz yellin “you fzx&s, help da brudda out.” well akchaly, sumtin lie dat but not quite. 😀 anywayz, nuttin, day wen leave him in and wen make like all wuz good. and wuz not. my conclusion, da up guyz neva tell da down guys, “hey get one chicken wit its head cut off runnin around down dare”

da downpour kept happenin. an my blood pressure wen mozy up to da moderate level, 300ova80.

an i’m hoping my chides an brussel sprouts will get to da right ears, an day get ova demselves, get angry and start coaching again, get positive, get hungry, from da top down.

no mo gravy. no mo italian. just plain good!

  29. bighilofan2 October 15, 2009 5:05 am

    winning starts with coaching.

we all no dat. we don’t have to be volleyball fans to understand the rudimentaries of having a winner at da top.

Look at the winners. Even when they are down, and Phil Jackson was down if you’ll remember, they/he had a plan. and they/he inspired their players to see the plan. and they got samoa players to buy into the plan. day all good athletes. we got good athletes. the difference is coaching and positive vibes, and great coaching decisions.

look at da midget at Minn Vikings? da plan is working.

same players, added a few, and now day rolling…

dats us! Use Chizzy. Use Inoke. Use Ikaika. Use Mana. Know when fo use dem guyz, however you callz dem, wedda day 2nds or 3rds. Fo knock down da wall, you no only use 1 cracks.. Plan yo strikes so you make da cracks!

    GO WARRIORS!!!!

Jake Ingram got someone new assigned to the locker next to him…Junior Seau!

While Mayo now sits at the locker Seau held during his previous stints with the Pats, the 12-time Pro Bowl linebacker looked at home tucked between Jake Ingram and Rob Ninkovich.

UH raised $9k for Samoa relief during the Fresno State game.

Prior to last Saturday’s UH-Fresno State football game, student-athletes from the baseball, softball, and men’s and women’s basketball teams collected $9,000 in donations for “Operation Uplift,” which supports the American Red Cross’ disaster relief efforts in the Pacific Region.

This is an indication of just how badly the California schools are being hurt by budget cuts…Cal is taking a *bus* to their conference game against UCLA! I’ve made that drive before–they will be lucky to take only 6 hours each way.

In an attempt to do their part to help the university with its budget shortcomings, the Bears have agreed to take buses to Southern California for Saturday’s game at UCLA. Cal usually travels on a charter plane for its road trips.

“It kind of reminds you of the high school days with the long bus trips,” Cal quarterback Kevin Riley said.

“I think it will be fine. Guys will just have to find something to do for six hours.”

One reason for Idaho’s success is that they have 4 seniors starting on the OL. They will be a challenge for the Warriors’ DL.

In the victory against San Jose State — and throughout the season — this quintet emphatically showed the importance of experience in the trenches.

With four seniors starting on the offensive line, Idaho has been blowing defensive fronts off the line of scrimmage. Saturday was no exception, as the running backs took advantage of cavernous holes. Both McCarty and Jackson can use their open-field prowess to turn those great initial blocks into sizable chunks of yardage.

With at least one future NFL player, Mike Iupati, amid the crew, this actually could be the best offensive line in the WAC. Who’s better?

  45. bighilofan2 October 15, 2009 5:25 am

    AJoe,

course, if you need tutorial in making a woman look like dat,

you’ll have to ask Whitey. 😀

    heheheheheh heh 😆

  46. Garret October 15, 2009 5:25 am

The Idaho Press-Tribune writer put down UH and said that the hard part of Idaho’s schedule will start after the UH game.

The Vandals have loads of work to do, even though they’re winning games.

Right now they’re gutting out close wins despite questionable-at-best tackling, a sea of penalties and frequent periods without a decent pass rush.

Luckily, Idaho still has time to work on these deficiencies before the difficult portion of its schedule commences. This week the Vandals will emerge unscathed yet again, winning 35-24 and improving their record to 6-1.

  47. Garret October 15, 2009 5:28 am

Here is a feature article on Idaho’s best offensive lineman.

The University of Idaho’s celebrated left guard is 6-6, 330 pounds and lean enough to pass for a heavyweight MMA fighter. His imposing stature and nimble feet have made him one of the top interior offensive line prospects for next year’s NFL draft.

In some ways, though, Iupati’s rise is as unlikely as the Vandals’ ongoing revival. He didn’t play organized football until he was 14, and he wasn’t even aware that American universities gave out football scholarships until a few years before he enrolled at the Moscow school.

Nonetheless, he could be one of the first 50 players drafted in the spring.

“We’ve had some good offensive linemen where I’ve coached,” UI coach Robb Akey says. “He would be one of the best that ever played for us.”

As is he is on Idaho’s offensive line, Iupati is the unquestioned leader with his Polynesian teammates. He organizes barbecues in the offseason, often grilling steaks, chicken and sausage with a distinct marinade centered on soy sauce and onions.

The summer barbecues and river trips became such big hits that other teammates starting coming as well.

“I came in and I took most of them in,” Iupati says. “I’m Polynesian and that’s why they respect me a lot, and they look at me as a brother.”

The soft-spoken offensive captain made it an emphasis to build a family atmosphere with his teammates. It was the only thing he knew to do.

Iupati really would fit in with the Tsaikos…he is motivated to make it in the NFL so that he family can eat well!

With their children away, the Iupatis have struggled financially while living in Stanton, Calif., just outside of Anaheim. Aposetolo is a mechanic and Belinda is out of work.

Both have battled recent health issues.

“Sometimes I go home and look at the little things that I take advantage of here, like food and stuff like that,” Mike says. “And over there, I mean … it hurts.”

His family’s financial strain is a major motivation to earn an NFL roster spot, says Odell Harrington, a family friend and former coach to the Iupati brothers.

“He said to his brother, ‘When I get to the league, we’re going to eat good,’ ” Harrington recalls. “Not what car he’s going to buy, not what jewelry he’s going to buy. We’re going to eat good.

  50. Garret October 15, 2009 5:31 am

Who is going to argue with a 6′ 6″ Samoan leader like Iupati?

Just this week, the overpowering lineman delivered a message that particularly resonated with teammates.

“We’re 5-1 and I told them to never get satisfied,” he says.

  51. Garret October 15, 2009 5:32 am

Lots of NFL scouts will be at the game on Saturday to see Iupati, which gives the Warrior players a chance to be noticed by the NFL.

Akey on the scouts’ take of Iupati: “They’re excited about him, yes. There were a number at the game last week and we had several today (at practice). I expect more at this game. … There’s going to be some personnel people show up at some of the games later in the season, so that’s very positive sign for his future. Their reports after leaving here have all been very positive. It keeps going this direction, so that’s a great thing.”

  52. bighilofan2 October 15, 2009 5:34 am

    ya see,

da Mowcow Pullman Herald potatohead disrespecting our O, our QB. gotta get our RBs in da game as shuffle catchers, get da RnS clickin on all cylinders insteada jus 4.
watch da defense from upstairs and make da adjustments on da next play, not wait till da half. plus, no how fo counterpunch, suckerpunch.
    make like knute rockne. 😀

we’ll know this game if our coaches learned lessons from this past game. fo me, i like see da effort!

    Go Warriors!

  53. Garret October 15, 2009 5:35 am

Many people on the blog complain about how the WAC isn’t respected by the pollsters and gamblers. However, it appears that the Vegas lines actually give the WAC too much respect–the WAC is the third worst conference against the spread, covering only 46.4% of the time over the past 10 years.

BSU actually covered the spread 63% of the time over the past 10 years, by far the best of any football team. That means the rest of the WAC *really* did badly against the spread.

  54. whitey October 15, 2009 5:36 am

if we all hustle to post, we can pass 50 before the sunrise.

  55. whitey October 15, 2009 5:39 am

now, that is hustling. we go past 50 while my pingers trying to move.

  56. Garret October 15, 2009 5:39 am

After the UH game, Idaho has the following schedule:

at Nevada (hard place to win)
Louisiana Tech (we saw first hand how good they are)
Fresno State (we saw first hand how good they are)
    at BSU

Looking at that schedule, I actually am not upset at the writer saying that Idaho’s schedule gets tougher after they play UH. I doubt that any WAC team has a more difficult 4-game stretch than that, especially with at BSU included.

  57. whitey October 15, 2009 5:40 am

ok, then. got to wake up d1, d1??? d1????? d1????? this ain’t the weekend. you got to go to work.

  58. Garret October 15, 2009 5:41 am

    whitey,

I definitely did my part this morning. However, I’m out of articles to post so I’m going to get to work.

With a senior OL and a leader on the OL like Iupati, now I understand how Idaho turned around their fortune this season. Next year when they lose their OL they might go down again, but they will be tough this year.

i wonder if the WAC commish’s office is on top of all school’s 2010 schedule for non-WAC games??? If every school is done with their 2010 schedule, shouldn’t the WAC have the 2010 schedule out by Jan 15, 2010. If everyone has to wait till March or April, it may be time for all the schools to seriously look at the commish’s office if it needs to have a change of leadership.

thank you Blaze Soares for your thoughts about the Warrior fans. now, you need to get the team to believe in themselves and do their job. nothing fancy, but just plain basic football, blocking, tackling, running, catching, and passing.

  73. d1島 October 15, 2009 5:55 am

Really hoping that all the nagging injuries won’t be affecting the team play on Saturday.

Also hope for a short day at work today 😉

I am off to the gym as I have been playing in 24 hour fitness “Magic Johnson’s” Basketball Gym with my 51 year old basketball game KILLING these young street ballers.

After I jay or lay them they ask “who are you” ? as I sheeplishly reply “An OLD Rainbow Warrior from Oahu who is looking to find his way to Klum Gym via Makiki !

They fall out laughing and then laughter becomes SHOCK when I tell them I am 51 years old !

Man, Life is BEAUTIFUL ! Have a GREAT morning Tsaiko Nation !

  79. Garret October 15, 2009 6:00 am

    d1shima,

The OL is considered the strength of Idaho’s team and if I read things correctly they are returning starters. Iupati was hurt to start last season, which hampered their team but he’s healthy this season.

The OL is, um, not considered the strongest part of UH’s team though they are much better than last season (maybe due to senior leadership?). Even though all 5 starters were seniors (until Letuli got hurt), some of them hadn’t started much before this season. I *am* worried about next year, especially since UH had been starting only seniors and not rotating in any underclassmen earlier this season. Thomas and Hansen have gotten to play due to Letuli’s injury, which might help next season.

    Blaze

Stop mirroring Coach Mack. It’s bad enough listening to him. Let your actions on the field speak louder than your words. The only ones I want to see fluffing pom poms are the cheerleaders. Direct more of your energy in inspiring your team mates, especially on the sidelines during game days, than trying to retain fans on staying aboard.

    Good Morning Tsaikos!

    I’m on board…never left a game early.
Reward for sitting through every second of the 0 – 12 season was
experiencing every second of the 12 – 0 season and a trip to the Sugar Bowl. Priceless memories.

28 years ago, had to check game schedule to choose a wedding date that didn’t conflict with a home game and came back from honeymoon in time for next home game.

Lifetime fan, no matter what the nickname is.
I’m on board & so is our son in Seattle.

    The Four Agreements
A practical guide to personal freedom: A Toltec Wisdom Book
    Don Miguel RUIZ

    BE IMPECCABLE WITH YOUR WORD
Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the word to speak against yourself or to avoid gossip about others. Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love.

    DON’T TAKE ANYTHING PERSONALLY
Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won’t be the victim of needless suffering.

    DON’T MAKE ASSUMPTIONS
Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness, and drama. With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life.

    ALWAYS DO YOUR BEST
Your best is going to change from moment to moment, it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick. Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-juegement, self abuse, and regret.

  122. ProudArmyWife808 October 15, 2009 8:17 am

Go Warriors! Vandalize the Vandals! They haven’t won 5 games in a row since 1996…wonder if they’re feeling a tad superstitious? hehehe. Beat ’em, Hawaii!

    From Yahoo Sports:

Idaho (5-1 overall, 2-0 WAC) hasn’t won five games in a row since joining the FBS ranks in 1996. The current four-game win streak matches the school’s best run as an FBS program, which was achieved in 1998.

With one more victory, the Vandals would become bowl eligible for the first time since 1999. Idaho hasn’t played in a bowl game since it won the 1998 Humanitarian Bowl against Southern Mississippi.

To become bowl eligible this week, the Vandals must beat a Hawaii team that they are 1-8 all time against and haven’t beaten since joining the WAC in 2005.

The true fans stay on board. (To) the ones who don’t stay on board, no season is going to be perfect. … Keep with us. … It’s their choice. I can’t force anybody. I hope they stay on board. We have a lot of football games left. Just don’t give up on us. We’re going to try harder in each and every game.”

So Blaze Soares can’t even voice his thoughts??? Got some people just telling him to be quiet and just play as if he’s on the field whistling and not paying attention to the game? So some people think that the players are not trying hard?

What part of “We’re going to try harder in each and every game” does one not understand about these kids wanting to get better and learning from their past mistakes.

I guess a “no comment” from Blaze Soares, or any player this morning would have been the perfect response for some people.

Fo real yeah? I guess some figure that Blaze is technically a professional since he is getting “paid” (to go to school on scholarship) and should be subject to shutting his mouth and just playing as if some people think he’s on the field for the hell of it.

So it goes from the actual paid professionals (i.e. coaches) to the scholarship athletes now…

For some, the blame game can only be contained so much I guess… 🙄

Imagine how it would have turned out if someone stood up in the theater and shouted at the screen, “shut up and just play”!!!

When Colt Brennan and Timo Paepule gave a rousing pregame speech in the locker room before the home game against Boise State in 2007, would we have completely blown out BSU if the players yelled back, “just shut up and play”?

Never give up on the student athletes. Never.

sometimes you reinvent. Never mind the Triple Option for now.. =)

With football playing faster than the speed of thought we need to reinvent the 48 hour rule. We’re now on the clock. We’re now in the war zone. Tic Tock! Visualize. Transform. Magnify. Isolate and Prioritize your actions within the next 48 hrs to one simple objective Execution-Unity-Win! Perform this action with conviction for every damn ticking minute while in the 48 hour zone. Confine. Nutrition. Be the Rule. Be the Momentum. Hydrate! When you put on your battle Armour be certain that ‘True wisdom’ men, is knowing that you know nothing. You have no past, the clock is ticking. Let nothing stand in front of you and your mission. Men, you have 48 hours to complete your mission. Get what you worked hard for. Get what you trained for. Get what you came for. Get that WIN!

“It ain’t about how hard you hit, it’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.. how much you can take and keep moving forward.” – Rocky

Embrace the hits, bring it! Tic Tock!

I like the 48 hour rule. I use it in my business life whenever something important needs action. It is proven that after the 48 hours momentum is loss. Its starts to wonder from the mind and tasks don’t get accomplished. New problems arise and need solving. Accomplishments never really get accomplished. I like to break it down into little sections, bubble it up and make it explode!

  153. postmanke October 15, 2009 9:28 am

Men, never feel sorry for yourselves. Some of you were dealt this hand in which you had not anted up for. Play through it. Like poker, sometimes in life when you get dealt the deuce-five as your opening hand. You have to stay positive and stay in the hand to win. You just play a little a lot more aggressive before the rest of the cards are dealt. You’ll win.

    From the Urban Dictionary website:

    drink the kool-aid

A reference to the 1978 cult mass-suicide in Jonestown, Guyana. Jim Jones, the leader of the group, convinced his followers to move to Jonestown. Late in the year he then ordered his flock to commit suicide by drinking grape-flavored Kool-Aid laced with potassium cyanide. In what is now commonly called “the Jonestown Massacre,” 913 of the 1100 Jonestown residents drank the Kool-Aid and died.

One lasting legacy of the Jonestown tragedy is the saying, “Don’t drink the Kool-Aid.” This has come to mean, “Don’t trust any group you find to be a little on the kooky side.” or “Whatever they tell you, don’t believe it too strongly”.

The phrase can also be used in the opposite sense to indicate that one has embraced a particular philosophy or perspective.

Alice: Hey, did you hear that Joe is working on the Nader campaign?
Bob: Yeah, he really drank the Kool-Aid on that one.

Chris: I’m thinking about attending a PETA rally
Donna: Whatever you do, don’t drink the Kool-Aid!

Sorry about responding so late to posts over the pastm couple of days, but other people’s deadlines take precedence over mine if I want their help in making next week’s Hawaii High School Athletic Association fund-raiser a success.

Will have a final report on last Saturday’s HHSAA T-Gate take later on.today after I get to the Redemption Center; the check will be in the mail tonight. Remember it will also include with the money donated to the Tsai-ko fund from two friends of ours – they like their beer. Every two months or so, we pick up a similar quantity.

Before I return to work, however, I do want to remind Tsai-ko regulars to remember that improvements to the athletic facilites on campus are paid out of the Capital Improvements Projects Budget through issuing long-term bonds AND creating dedicated endowment funds.

Current tax-payer dollars are not used for these improvements. The Operating Budget pays for salaries and other daily expenses. The OB also includes income from donations, ticket sales, concessions, and some parking revenues.

The money to match the private funding to finish the improvements to the Ching Complex IS in the current fiscal year CIP Budget along with $$$ for the women’s locker rooms as well as allocations for the completion of improvements to Murakami Stadium, the administration building, and I think the Duke Kahanamoku Swimming Complex.

These will be done by using outside contractors which will help improve our state’s overall economic condition. Some of it might even come from Stimulus Funds, but I need to check on that before I say for sure.

Will report back sometime next week with updates.

As for Aloha Stadium, it is NOT under the control of the University of Hawai`i System despite repeated attempts over the past 10 – 15 years to remove it from the Department of Accounting & General Services and transfer to UH.

It’s not clear whether the Stadium Authority would continue to exist or if the Board of Regents would be the principal administrative agency.

With respect to a replacement stadium, the decision was made several years ago by the Stadium Authority – not the Legislature directly – to utilize its prime location at the junctions of H-1, H-2 and H-3 as well as the train system to upgrade the Stadium and then take the proceeds from the transit-oriented development as well as other private resources to build additional site facilities.

Well over a year ago I reported on attending a Stadium Authority meeting where a presentation was made by the transit planners. it never occurred to me before then as to how much of an impact the train and its development will have on the future of UH sports.

Perhaps those of you who have specific ideas for facilities improvements should put your ideas into writing. If you like some help in getting your ideas to the right people at the Legislature, then perhaps James or I can help out.

Another really great resource for finding your way around state government is the Public Access Room on the 4th Floor of the Capital. It’s open year round and the staff is always willing to help folks out.

    Back to work.

    A-House,

With David Holmes as head coach back then, it was easy to get hooked on the Warriors. 71.8% winning record (higher than JJ) and never a losing season. If not for him, I wonder if we would have gone for the D-1 leap in ’74?

Unfortunately for UH, he left soon after, and Larry Price took over at the end of ’74. Larry Price’s win/loss record may not have been illustrious, but his hula-T teams were still fun to watch. That little ploy of getting up and back down before the hike to try to draw the other side offsides would often crack me up.

    Then Dick Tomey cometh… 10 years! Phew!… Bob Wagner …8 years!… FVAppen … 3 … June Jones for 9!

    to think.. I witnessed all of that… wow.. I’m getting old… !

Not sure if djmitcho and Slugger found an answer regarding the Warriors’ travels from yesterday, but it looks like the team arrived into the Moscow/Pullman area around 12:30 PT this morning, according to this flight track:

    http://flightaware.com/live/flight/ASA7618

I assume they flew commercial from Honolulu to Seattle, then boarded this charter flight. This particular flight stuck out like a sore thumb because commercial jets typically don’t fly into Pullman, save for the occasional charter flight.

  190. Garret October 15, 2009 12:03 pm

If I remember correctly, the UH captains for the season are Estes, Rocky, and R.J.. However, it seems like Blaze has really taking a leadership role with calling the players-only practice (along with Estes, but all players quoted in the articles credited Blaze) and talking with the media.

  191. Garret October 15, 2009 12:05 pm

The really interesting thing to me about Cal taking a bus for their road game at UCLA is that they actually won’t be saving money because they will spend an extra night in a hotel. So, this is more symbolic than anything else…the players will miss an extra day of class but have extra meeting time during the bus ride and during the extra night in the hotel.

Cal will practice tonight in Berkeley and then board buses for a six- to seven-hour ride to Pasadena for Saturday’s game against UCLA, a move that was an attempt to help the university with budget shortcomings but may end up being more symbolic than fiscally responsible.

Because the game is at 12:30 p.m., the Bears are getting to Southern California a day earlier than they would have if they traveled via charter flight as usual. It is estimated that the road travel would have saved about $20,000, a number all but wiped out by the extra night of hotel and food costs.

  192. Garret October 15, 2009 12:07 pm

The HUGE contract that CBS gave the SEC seems not that unreasonable now that the ratings for the SEC have increased so significantly. CBS is doing it by highlighting two teams, Florida and Alabama.

By late November, Florida or Alabama will likely have appeared on CBS in nine of the 11 weeks the network broadcasts SEC regular-season games. Florida figures to be on CBS six times and Alabama will be on five or six times.

“Our ratings are through the roof,” said Mike Aresco, vice president of programming for CBS. “We’ve got star power. We’ve got two teams in the top two or three. Life is good at the moment, knock on wood.”

CBS reports college football ratings are up 36 percent from last year, with a 3.8 rating that is the network’s highest at this point since 1999.

I would *love* for the Warriors to adopt a Hawaii child like what Cincinnati has done.

Cincinnati became the first Football Bowl Subdivision team to “adopt” a child through Friends of Jaclyn, which matches pediatric brain tumor patients with sports teams, mostly from colleges. Friends of Jaclyn has matched 125 youngsters with teams, with 80 others in the works and more than 1,000 teams on a waiting list. The program grew out of the friendship forged in 2005 between the Northwestern women’s lacrosse team and Jaclyn Murphy, then 10, who was being treated for a malignant brain tumor.

In the Stone family’s relationship with Cincinnati football, it is hard to determine who has benefited more.

“The ideal thing is how they’re inspired by me and I’m inspired by them,” Mitch said last week while watching practice with his mother, Dee, and his twin, Nick.

“This taught me a quick lesson,” the senior tight end Kazeem Alli said. “The little things that I whine about day to day aren’t anything compared to what some people are going through.”

those rolls of shredded paper that people threw at the termite palace…
using newspaper were for only those who ran out of ammunition.
those who planned ahead used strips from magazines of equal width and length. magazine used a smoother paper and would give a better effect as it soared through the air and harmlessly to the ground. we would have a full “Pan Am” bag of rolls ready to go for any celebration situations.

talk about muddy games at the termite palace…
I remember a Hula Bowl game that O. J. Simpson ran for a long touchdown through the muck. Shucks, no replay on the scoreboard back then.

I recall that BYU game when Reinhold hit those field goals – and alas, a week or so later when we lost to Utah.

Also that driving rainstorm when Ahu made those touchdowns in the mud. The comment then was – why shouldn’t he have done well in the rain, after all, he’s from Hilo.

Funny tho, the football guide book doesn’t mention the one season when Archie Kodros (sp?) was head coach and had the single wing formation.
Think he was here before Jimmy Asato took over as HC and after Hank Vasconcellos left as HC- in fact, I think Jimmy was the tailback in that formation. You had to pass, run and kick (quick kick). Now that I think about it, the quick kick is no longer a weapon – is it because the passing attack helps redeem lousy field position?

  211. djmitcho October 15, 2009 12:33 pm

d1島 — small world…I was on the ewa side too. When I was younger, getting wet from the rain was part of the experience. (I envy Kazz today). Used to be soaking wet–wallet and papers too.

So today, I carry only my driver’s license, cash, and credit card in a plastic ID holder when I go to Aloha stadium. I don’t get wet in my seats, but as chopsueyboy said, we get rewarded with the sun in our eyes!

BSU vs. Tulsa had 3.2 million viewers last night, including a 1.1 rating in the 18-49 demo that is used to determine ad prices. 3% of the people in the demo watching TV were watching the game.

On Saturday there were multiple games on at night. I don’t have access the ESPN ratings for Saturday, but these are the network numbers:

Michigan vs. Iowa Saturday night had 4.2 million viewers, with a 1.3 rating in the demo (4% of the demo viewers).

Florida vs. LSU Saturday night (on at the same time as Michigan vs. Iowa) had 10.1 million viewers and a 3.4 rating in the demo (11% of the demo viewers).

I was seated on the Mauka sidelines, 45 yard line, about half way up and OJ ran right past us in the mud for his TD – what a sight!!

Mrs A-House and I were there, 40 yd line, makai sideline, when Reinhold did the 5 FGs.

We were there when Oregon kicked off, ball went into end zone, UH player walked away and we were yell; “get the ball, get the ball”; too late, by the time he realized what we were saying an Oregon player covered the ball for a TD – back then all balls were live.

    djmitcho:

Yeah. The issue with 737s and comparable size planes isn’t so much flying IN to Pullman, but rather the restrictions they face trying to FLY OUT. The 737s et al. can fly out of Pullman, but they won’t get very far…..Denver tops if you’re flying west-to-east.

Going into/out of Pullman becomes less of a reality the farther you have to fly and/or if the airplane has horrible performance. Lewiston certainly comes into the picture more often than not.

  224. A-House October 15, 2009 1:15 pm

BTW, what time does the game start at Idaho? They are in MDST zone and a 4 hour difference from Hawaii.

Thus, if game starts at 2pm, it would be 10 am here!

as long as these legs can still walk across the bridge to Aiea
gotta go game to support the team

Yeah, I renewing my season tickets next year in any event. I’m just unhappy that a good will gesture on JD’s part backfires into such discomfort for the loyal season ticket holders of all these years.

Last game I saw 70+ year old neighbors wrap wet hand towels around neck and face after seating 10 minutes before kickoff. They were not happy campers. Peaches was hot and unhappy–she did not speak to Dudley (or me) until 7:00 PM.

  227. Stretch October 15, 2009 1:20 pm

A-House – most of Idaho is in Mountain but Moscow and the rest of the north side of Idaho is Pacific, therefore only 3 hours.

  228. Mrs. A-House October 15, 2009 1:20 pm

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY A-SPORTS!

(next time your eyes are tired, just hug and lean against your handsome hubby…that would be a precious pic)

  229. chopsueyboy October 15, 2009 1:22 pm

high school buddy lived across the street from the restaurant.
If I called and his grandmother from Okinawa answered, she
couldn’t understand my real name to leave a message, but she
could recognize “chopsueyboy”, so that stuck with me & that family

  230. SteveM October 15, 2009 1:25 pm

Tasty Chop Suey! I haven’t been there for a couple years but used to go regularly. New owners or are they closed?

A-House — the game is 11:00 AM Hawaii time. Idaho is in the Pacific time zone. HA and some sites list the game as 2:00 MT–should be PT. Which reminds me, I have to correct my countdown timer….

  231. chopsueyboy October 15, 2009 1:27 pm

too much ALOHA going to the visiting team
    they get a win
    they save money
we get the sun and inconvenience
our hotels, restaurants, and shops lose much needed sales
state loses tax dollars spent by the visitors
what compensation do our team get for going to the other Wac schools?
    I presume none, too one-sided

  232. al October 15, 2009 1:32 pm

chopsueyboy….i guess i missed you on saturday. sheesh, we gotta talk story.

tiger. tiger is that guy that had a speech impediment who used to sell newspapers when he was younger outside the stadium with us young boys. later, he sold hotdogs, soda, frosty malts, peanuts, and the like inside the stadium. surely you will recall if you stretch your imagination.

i was there at all those events you mentioned. i think it was in the fourth quarter when finally the infamous running back of usc broke off an 80 yard td run for the west team.

somehow i just knew you were talking tasty chop suey. why just the other weekend i told the boss as we passed the location. “eh, you like go eat tasty chop suey?”

it was one of my dad’s two favorite chop suey houses. the other being the old golden duck.

  233. Dirty Commish October 15, 2009 1:33 pm

    Added Blaze, “… or else.”

For reals though, even Colt started off like 5 and something right? Moniz looked ok for someone practically thrown to the lions. I think he’s gonna be a bright spot for the future.

    The future, Conan?

That’s right Andy old pal. The future. All the way to the year 3000.

    I’M ON BOARD!

Was hoping A-House would add to his nostalgic posts re attending games at the termite palace, that it was oh-so special to have his sweetie-pie sitting next to him. Hmmm, on second thought, that sp might not be me, so let’s leave well enough alone. Oops, just noticed A-House did acknowledge his faithful companion…what a sweet guy!

So natsu-ka-shii (nostalgic) to read the posts by MIH, chopsueyboy, Al, TYAiea, Pride., Unkanesson, Manoa Mist and other veteran fans who posted above. When recollections of precious memories can be conveyed spontaneously to the written word…and with words that come from the heart…now that is the mark of true UH Warrior football fans who “came on board” and have no intention of ever getting off.

Blaze Soares and the whole Warrior Football Team – Commit to playing 808% (per Kazz) every time you set foot on the playing field and there will NEVER be any reason to hang your head in embarrassment or apologize for not giving it your best. Warrior pride will prevail…JUST DO IT! Imua Warriors!!

  237. chopsueyboy October 15, 2009 1:45 pm

    4th group of new owners
mom & dad retired a long time ago and their only child (me?)
had a regular job that paid more (at the time) with vacation and sick leave then the 2 of them received for working 7 days a week, 14 hour days.

used to take mom frequently until she passed last year
mad at current owners and probably won’t go back
wanted to serve Tasty Chop Suey food at funeral service
but they refused to ask their chefs to come in early.
was going to settle for lunch since it’s chinese tradition to have lunch after the service, but owner said that was too much trouble.
it’s not like we wanted free food, what kine chinese turn down business?

bought food from Lagoon Chinese food off Lagoon Drive (makai of Puuloa), they make food similar taste to Tasty because their original owner used to work for us

  238. Nalani October 15, 2009 1:47 pm

I will always be 100% supportive of the Student Athletes. I see what sacrifice, work, talent, and determination it takes to be a UH Football player first hand thru my son every single day. I am proud of all those boys. Never EVER boo the players. They are not Pros.

But the coaches need to win games. That’s what they’re getting paid to do. They don’t get a pass. Things need to start shaping up, and it will start in Idaho I hope.

  239. chopsueyboy October 15, 2009 1:54 pm

  245. Mrs. A-House October 15, 2009 2:07 pm

    chopsueyboy –

Sorry to hear that your Mom passed away last year. Deepest condolences. Also sorry to hear how badly you were treated by the 4th new owners of Tasty Chop Suey. Not good…to treat customers so shabbily…shame on them. I will ask Midori7 to add Lagoon Chinese Food to her list of places to eat.

BTW, how old was azngamer808 when you started taking him to UH games? Midori7 was about 3 years old when we bought her a season ticket.

  246. GRM October 15, 2009 2:08 pm

I thought I was a real old fut, but I guess I’m not ‘cuz I was also there when OJ ran back the KO for a touchdown in the muddiest Hula Bowl. Also was there when Stuprich kicked those field goals to beat BYU. Also remember Larry Sherrer (sp?) ran for 1000+ yards; Albert Holmes and another good running back whose name I can’t remember. Great days!

  247. d1島 October 15, 2009 2:09 pm

Howard Egami passed away last year.

How many of us harbor regrets for snickering and joking about him before we were old enough to realize that there was a better way to behave?

    From another HA blog:
    http://midlifecrisis.honadvblogs.com/2008/07/09/remembering-hiroshi/

  248. Mrs. A-House October 15, 2009 2:14 pm

    d1Shima –

Mahalo for recognizing “tiger” by his true name. Yes, I remember Howard Egami. He was indeed an “institution”. What struck me was how committed this man was to his trade. He was always enthusiastic and upbeat, and it was evident that this man truly epitomized what a UH Warrior Football fan for life was.

  252. Mrs. A-House October 15, 2009 2:23 pm

    Nalani –

How true your words ring…especially to parents/family/friends of young men who actually played football. The blood/sweat/tears these young athletes endure tug at your heartstrings if you are witness to what tremendous effort/commitment it takes on their part to play the four quarters of the actual game. If they play hard and represent with pride, what more can we ask. Very appropriate reminder that they are student/athletes…not pros.

  253. Mrs. A-House October 15, 2009 2:28 pm

    d1Shima & Mrs. d1 –

Looking forward to hearing those stories. Don’t have to tell us about “local goodies for the lucky kid”…and yes, our #2 also truly appreciates the local treats we provide often. Safe travels to you both until you return. Please give #2 a big hug and kiss from his Tsaiko aunties/uncles/friends.

  254. Palolo October 15, 2009 2:29 pm

Howard was the guy yelling “hot dogs, peanuts, chips, and coke!” at the old stadium. The best thing about Honolulu Stadium was bringing in a hot roast beef sandwich plate with extra gravy over the mash potatoes. Getting a 75 cents Primo beer, and jumping over the fence on to be on the field minutes before the game ended to be with the players when the final gun sounded. And it was a gun in those days.

  255. chopsueyboy October 15, 2009 2:36 pm

azngamer808 was 5 months old at his first game
he always was so good, so we never hesitated taking him anywhere
UH used to have camera days and azngamer808 has photos with
Jason Elam, Travis Sims, Mark Odom, Coach Bob Wagner and many
others when he was 2 years old
back in 1986, there was a plush UH rainbow football player sold only at Kaiser Hospital’s gift shop. Didn’t know if we were having a boy or girl,
but almost as soon as he was born at Kapiolani, flew to Kaiser’s to get the UH player for his crib. gotta start them young

So where are the Tsaikos watching the game this weekend?

  266. Unkanesson October 15, 2009 3:29 pm

Eh, you folks get good memories! Of course, anybody who went to the Termite Palace remembers the guy called Tiger, even me! And though I went to most of the UH games in the mid-to-late 60’s, in the student section on the mauka side, I don’t recall very many details — the team was the pits, and we were having too much fun learning about adult beverages to care. I do recall one year a couple of players transferred to UH from the AF Academy after some kind of scandal (cheating?). One was a lineman named Larry Cole. The team still sucked…but we had a good time.
We listened on a little “transistor” radio to the play-by-play call by Chuck Leahey — one line of his I recall: “The ref looks at the ball with his makapia eye…first down!” My girlfriend cracked up, then had to translate. Good fun those days!

Right on for the clarification. When they make the travel roster, I believe there’s no such restrictions or distinctions between walk-ons and scholly players right? I think the way I read your post was that bradduh Bryant actually paid his way to IDAHO! That would be crazy.

    Horror? OMG! Stephen?!?!
Satisfaction? Yum! Good food, fun, friends, . . .
Deep Thought? What did Jason mean by that formula . . .

  298. kama krab October 15, 2009 5:03 pm

That’s the kind of craziness we need. Just gotta make sure it becomes a controlled aggression when we get on the feild against Idaho. If we can play with that kind of intensity the whole game then Idaho will be in for a big hurten.

  299. wafan October 15, 2009 5:04 pm

Wow. Folks were up pretty early.
We just arrived in our Pullman hotel. We’re about 50 yards from a Denny’s. And a few minutes’ drive from a casino.

Eating at Denny’s could also be considered gambling.

I hope Coach is finding out right now which of his assistants are earning their paychecks. my question: who is the Blaze among his assistants? who is the Torres? who can he count on to cover his back. I wonder. how will he rearrange them next year to maximize their strengths and cover their weaknesses?

    Big Hilo,

Immediately when the assistants come to mind, the first coach that I think of is Dave Aranda. From the moment he spoke at the coaches clinic last season, I felt this guy was going to be a winner as his career moves on.

Coach Mack hired him with the intention of having a good “teacher” on his staff and this guy is it. Watch him at practice with the defensive linemen and you’ll see his emphasis on technique. You’ll see that other than suiting up himself in the games, he’s doing his part.

Next up would be Coach Tormey. Always the human megaphone, but not in “yelling” terms. Often he was the voice of motivation in the latter parts of fall camp when the team seemed to be “going through the motions”. All he’d have to do was to raise his voice and players responded. All those that questioned Alex Dunnachie after like two games… 🙄 we obviously wrong. Coach Tormey may not be a punter’s coach or a kicking coach, but he worked closely with Dunnachie in monitoring his hang times and Luke Ingram’s snap times as well as helping Dunnachie with his directional punts to pin the opponents deep in their zone. Both he and Miano present the necessary energy needed at practices.

Article in the South Bend Tribune states in the headline that “Hawaii is now Notre Dame country”. If UH tries to recruit a player at Punahou that Notre Dame wants, it sounds like Notre Dame will have the advantage.

“Notre Dame has fans everywhere and always has,” said Ane, who coaches at Punahou School in Honolulu. “There are a lot more now. Everywhere I go, people stop me randomly and say, ‘I saw Manti and he had a good game.’ Or, ‘He didn’t play as much as I thought.’

“Everybody knows and loves the team, whether we were fans before or not. It’s not just Punahou people. It’s the whole state.”

“People from Hawaii always get homesick, because there’s so much to miss,” Ane said. “It starts with family and then moves to food and then moves to the weather.”

We’ve talked a lot here about how we wish that UH had some billionaire that wanted to generously donate to the program, like what Nike has done for Oregon or Pickens has done for Oklahoma State. We’ve also mentioned how JJ is an excellent marketer and did a good job branding the Warriors. Well, it looks like JJ might have pulled off his biggest marketing coup yet.

    T. Boone Pickens and his wife Madeleine will be presenting a Mustang to SMU during halftime of the Navy game on Saturday. Madeleine has focused her efforts on her Wild Horse Foundation and this is one of the highest profile things that she has done. JJ just happens to be the Chairman of her advisory committee.

The Mustangs will be on the field during football games, basically serving as their mascot. They will be promoting the cause that is what Pickens’ wife devotes herself to. Basically, Pickens’ wife is donating the mustang that will be the football team’s mascot. Getting in that good with Madeleine is pretty smart…

If I was Oklahoma State I’d be a little worried now. Pickens has given a LOT of money to Oklahoma State–his series of donations includes one that was for $165 million! But if his wife is going to cheer for SMU now and spend a lot of time with SMU football’s mascot, I wonder how long it will take for her to convince him to open the checkbook for SMU instead of Oklahoma State in the future…

At the game, Madeleine and T. Boone Pickens will present SMU President Dr. R. Gerald Turner, Coach Jones and SMU with a beautiful and trained Mustang as a gift to the school.

“I’m sure there are people wondering why we are doing all of this,” said Madeleine Pickens. “One of my life’s passions is to protect and save America’s Wild Horses — a living symbol of our American heritage and freedom. What better place to get the word out about protecting and saving wild horses than Dallas, Texas, and at a football game at the home of the SMU Mustangs.

I am wondering if the Denny waitress in Pullman are just as toothless as the Waffle House waitress in Ruston, La?

  330. postmanke October 15, 2009 8:20 pm

Pickens is a very generous man. I predict JJ will be the Kanas City Chiefs head coach by 2012. – Thats just my gut feeling, there was something more than a 5 year SMU deal on the table.

  331. Garret October 15, 2009 8:48 pm

The Dallas Morning News’ article in tomorrow paper has an article about the Pickens donation of the mustangs and speculation over whether or not a monetary donation is to follow. Replacing the current pony mascot with a much bigger and more masculine mustang kind of sounds like going from the rainbow to Warrior…some longtime alumni are upset at the change. However, I liked the change to Warrior and that didn’t even come with Pickens’ money behind it.

Madeleine Pickens, wife of Dallas billionaire T. Boone Pickens, will present the mustangs during the SMU-Navy game at Ford Stadium.

“This now puts SMU in a whole different light,” she said.

Madeleine Pickens is founder of the National Wild Horse Foundation, which seeks permanent refuge for feral horses that otherwise might be penned up for life or euthanized. The Pickens reputation for philanthropy has led to speculation that a big gift might come SMU’s way after its demonstration of support for her foundation.

Coach Tomey has just one year left on his contract and if things don’t turn around SJSU might not give him another contract…and if the budget situation doesn’t get better, SJSU seriously consider giving up football. That would be bad for the WAC and there aren’t many schools available to replace them.

And the reality is, despite Tomey’s efforts to turn around the Spartans during his five seasons, San Jose State has yet to achieve regular success and is nearing decision time: What to do with a 71-year-old college football coach?

Tomey has one year left on a contract that pays roughly $450,000 a year with incentives.

“I don’t think I can speculate about the future,” Tomey said. “I feel like we’ve done a lot of good things as a whole — a lot of good. But right now, I don’t feel like any 1-4 coach can feel like he’s doing a good job.

“I’m a realist. In this profession, in the end, you’re evaluated on wins and losses. I’m disappointed in what we’re doing. But we have an opportunity to change that.”

Before San Jose State considers cutting ties with Tomey, the Spartans might want to remember where they were before his arrival in 2005.

Then, San Jose State considered eliminating its football program, just as past schools in the California State University system did (Long Beach State and Cal State Fullerton).

The Spartans had one winning season in the 12 years leading up to Tomey’s arrival and sported the nation’s worst home attendance in 2004 with an average of 6,594.

Under Tomey, San Jose State has seen improvements across the board — in academics (had a 956 academic progress rating), attendance (average of 17,505 in three home games this season), record (a combined 23-25 in Tomey’s first four seasons), and general overall interest (three games scheduled for an ESPN broadcast and one that was shown on Fox SportsNet).

  333. Garret October 15, 2009 8:53 pm

Coach Tomey’s final season on his contract includes games at Alabama, at Wisconsin, and at Utah! That really is a way to get his roster all beat up and tired and not great for bowl eligibility.

And with athletic funding always an issue at San Jose State, the Spartans essentially are required to play a difficult nonconference schedule for the big guaranteed money that comes with playing at the homes of big-name programs.

This year, San Jose State played at USC and at Stanford. Next season, the Spartans travel to Alabama, Wisconsin and Utah.

Such a nonconference schedule continuously places San Jose State in a difficult position to win out for a bowl appearance — this season being a prime example.

I remember watching Russ Francis playing in high school and I believe that he’s innocent in this situation.

A son of the owner of the Omaha Beef has filed a police report alleging improper use of a debit card by a retired NFL great who served until recently as general manager of the indoor football team.

The police report says the owner’s son suspects former all-pro tight end Russ Francis of making 66 unauthorized transactions on a debit card that totaled more than $29,000.

But Francis, in a written reply to The World-Herald on Thursday, said he used the card only for team business, as part of his role running the day-to-day operations of the franchise.

Among the purchases, he explained, were office supplies and equipment, team travel, hotel rooms for visiting teams and payments of some players’ wages and uncovered medical expenses.

He said he signed his name each time he used the card on behalf of the Beef.

“Hardly the actions of a thief,” Francis wrote.

Garret got a computer question. windows 2007 with vista when a file is written on excel and sent as an attachment by email, the receiver with windows prior to 2005 and XP can not open the file. Seems like the old system the file has a Dotxxx (3 characters after the dot) whereas vista and 7 sends the file with dot xxxx (4 characters)- so the old system won’t open. Is there a patch or up date to make the systems compatible. the new file had an option to attach to old systems, unfortunately the sender did not elect to do this.

  348. Matt October 15, 2009 10:15 pm

    Ralph,

One of two solutions. The person that created the document can save it in the older format. Go to Save As, then under the file name change the file type to the 97-2003 version.

Solution two is for the receiver to download this:

    http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=941B3470-3AE9-4AEE-8F43-C6BB74CD1466&displaylang=en

  349. Jason October 15, 2009 10:16 pm

And it’s not that Vista and Windows 7 send it differently, it’s that the file types are different in Office 2007. These files are .xlsx (Excel), .docx (Word), and .pptx (PowerPoint), rather tahn .xls, .doc, and .ppt, respectively.

When he was making his will a few weeks before he died, he asked me what I wanted from his estate. I told him the baseball team and that was it. Three weeks after the will came out of probate, I sold it for $1 to my aunt who needed to sell it to pay my uncle’s medical bills.

Bon Dia’ Tsaiko Nation, As the sun slowly comes up and awakes us this BEAUTIFUL morning let us give thanks to LIFE and the surroundings we have of nature, God’s people and the Beautiful Islands of Hawaii !

We are BLESS that we have and know one another in which this SPIRIT of Aloha is so priceless and the friendship that we have even though it may get testy at times is TRUE blue as the clear waters of North Shore to MAKAPU is better then the “Blue Lagoon” in reality TV.

What brings us TOGETHER is our love and compassion for Hawaii sports, especially our Warrior Football Team who is at a cross road from mediocrity to failure. With these intangibles that lies between the goal lines and as TRUE Hawaii fans who LOVE our noble team it is time to STAND UP and be counted for with “GO WARRIORS GO” as that is the ONLY call for today as we cheer our team on to “V-I-C-T-O-R-Y”

VICTORY, VICTORY IS OUR CRY ! So let’s GO Tsaiko Nation as you get out of bed ENJOY your day today as we always give thanks and praise. Hug your neighbor and make amends with a situation in which we showed in-consideration to one another. Life is WONDERFUL and on this blog lies the GREATEST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD as we love our Warriors BUT most and foremost we have respect and praise for each other as God who created us in our own religious affiliation “LOVES US EVEN MORE” !

My blessings to each and everyone of you as you are SPECIAL because “RainbowCliff say’s so” !

Have a GREAT day and “Let’s Go Warriors, Let’s Go !”

  366. royvic October 16, 2009 4:45 am

When team X catches wind about team’s Y coach, fans, journalists talking stink about them you often read about how team Y might use these statements to motivate/inspire their team. Often times you read about how opposing teams use this bulletin type material in firing up their team.

This is easy to see. This is easy to fathom. And coaches oftentimes use this to spark their players.

Now wouldn’t it have been something if a blogger, maybe somewhat manipulative, cunning and savvy, and through his writing, applied the same type of rational (as mentioned above) in attempting to light a fire under said player/team/coaches?

Some may have seen malice and psychosis in my earlier post today, and that’s fine. Even my recent posts have followed this theme.

But then if what a person writes can strike a cord, and strike at someones emotions, then who is the wiser?

Maybe it was coincidental. And maybe I’m prematurely patting myself on the back..but then again I did smile when I read that the team had a emotional practice yesterday.

Like always, I’ll be rooting on the Warriors against Idaho. Go Warriors.

    Hello Bro,

Good site. Some interesting and informative comments man 🙂 I know, I am creeping, lol. Hopefully I can produce something like this myself. Who did you source your templates from?

Hopefully one of you guys could help me out a little here. I am searching for someone who I was reliably informed told was a member here. They did use to use the tag ‘snoopylaughs’.

You see I am looking to start my own website on cosmetics type content for items such as: best tooth whitener (hence the where did you get your templates from, lol) but am having realllll difficulty getting hold of dropshippers for these goods. I had been in touch with this guy but my PC got stolen and unfortunately had all my contact details on it (I know, I know, should have backed it up 🙁 )

So if you folks have heard or seen anything of him could you send me a message please? Failing that maybe one of you guys knows someone?

And, which hosting do you use as I keep informed negative tales about the host I am thinking of placing my site with. Also any other helpful tips you could give re starting up my website would be most useful and gratefully appreciated.

I hope that one of you has useful information on this

    Thanks Mate,

I know it is so silly of me to ask as this wonderful touch screen phenominal phone is so great but why does everybody think same thing, the new iPhone is going to have a touch screen. I know its been a great idea but people have made so many complaints that they cant work it because of the touch screen, Apple want to please its customers, so rid of it, not that I want it gone. I love it!

Shopnbc.com – The latest donation in NBC’s wish shopnbc tabulation of well-heeled marketing strategies has successfully penetrated the American market – and slowly the age market. During a late investigation of American and Canadian households, a flagrant 24% of people had heard on every side or shopped online on Inform on NBC’s online store. It at once became frequent understanding that Shop NBC carried low expense brand name electronics, jewelry and household worthy – all delivered to your door. Obviously to rephrase, the American civilization has embraced Store NBC as a utility they both desire and appreciate. In the sustained tourista this is the generous of relationship that insipires investors to perpetuate supporting Rat on NBC. When customers were asked if they were satisfied with their products, we had conditions seen such high numbers. An awe-inspiring majority of online buyers from Rat on NBC’s website reported a satisfactory honorarium, on-tome transport and huge chap service. This is what I like to regard in a important online retailer like shopnbc.com – A conscientious, convenient and affordable way to purchase my Christmas presents at this year 🙂 shopnbc.com

Overall, I’m very happy that I made a decision to shed pounds. Acacia Gum Weight Loss I know that I did! What’s the deal with Direct Buy? I saw a commercial last week and requested a free info pack, but I haven’t decided yet.

I googled and found this web page: http://www.directbuy-info.com/

Apparently the thing is you get in with them and then you can buy stuff at wholesale. The free info pack I got described how one couple who saved around $50,000 buying stuff for their house.

Anyway, I thought it might be helpful to this forum.

Here’s the web site again: http://www.directbuy-info.com/
