Wednesday check-in: update on Molokai trip and horseshoes

They’re still working on whether they will go to Molokai Saturday or not.
Molokai’s ‘Barn’ is one of the emergency shelters.

As well as contingency for Sunday’s Horseshoes event.

As for Magill’s MRI, nothing new other than not cleared to play yet. The light stuff like Tuesday practice OK.

Season ticket holders, I’m still looking for one or two lower bowl tickets for the CalPoly and UCSB matches. My posts on VT and Craigslist are full of crickets and tumbleweed.

As of 4 pm. Wednesday both the Molokai trip and horseshoes tournament are on as scheduled
Coaches will monitor Thursday about both and make a final decision.
Makeup date for horseshoes is Nov. 2, still 230-6 p.m. Hunakai Park
For those who asked about the clinic and scrimmage
3:30 p.m. clinic for about an hour, free for youth 18-under; autograph session then scrimmage at 630

    1. OIB, did you try the UH ticket exchange at hawaiiathletics.com

I have to buy tickets tomorrow for the UCSB match.
Did you want me to check for you at the box office?

Hello, Cindy. I have, indeed, been checking. I first checked weeks ago to find, “There are no or limited listings currently available. Please check back soon!” Since the registration requires supplying my credit card info, I hesitated and called the ticket office. The guy confirmed at that time that that message is accurate, and that I didn’t need to register to see the more up-to-date availability.

The game-day vidoes show quite a few empty seats above the media row, so I’m curious that nothing has been offered. I would prefer the serving sides to get a different view from the game-day video, but I may not have that luxury.

I’m flying in tomorrow instead of my original arrival on Sunday, so I’ll have two extra days to do things, like go to the box office. Mahalo for the offer to check, Cindy.

Cindy, I meant to say that you don’t need to check.

    Good luck with the seats.
    box office hours are 9-5
looked like there were plenty seats for at least the UCSB match
but where I bought for friends were cheaper, best available, near mid court, upper bowl

‘ohanaInBel, if you are going to the box office to purchase tickets for the Cal Poly or UCSB matches, check with the guys selling tickets at the top of the 3rd floor parking ramp or the end of the ramp. There are 1 or 2 guys selling tickets there all the time before each match, of which I believe are lower level seats. If you are, be there at least an hour before the match before someone else scoops it up. Plenty of room, I estimate the turnstile count will be between 4,800 to 6,000 max.
