Stanford wins 25-19. UH got down early 5-1. battle back to get as close as 2 but never got a real rhythm.

Hawaii up 16-13. Calls have been overturned twice on UH points. the last one Stanford appealed that the ball hit the floor, the play had continued and UH got the point. The far linesman told the up ref the ball was down and the point went to Stanford.
some changes in Set 3 for the Warriors. it’s 18-15. Holt and Fey are in. Make that 19-15 on a block by Holt (in for West). TO Cardinal. Fey for Olsen.

At least Wade didn’t run out of subs as he did in 2nd UCI game. That was crucial in 5th set last week.

Still trying to grasp how your starting Middle (West) touched the ball offensively a total of two times in 2 sets. Was that the game plan?

    12. From the broadcasts it appeared that Stanford’s tough serving limited the options for the middles. I believe West was no in when Stanford made some lengthy scoring runs.
