Watched the warm ups in the Cal State Fullerton game and noticed that Ginger was not elevating and hitting as high as thought she was capable. Looked like Tai, Kalei and Huff were hitting at higher points. Also, read that Kendra is learning to jump set, during the warm ups the majority of her jump sets were kick backs rather than jump ups on her sets, thus, she wasn’t gaining any jumping height on her sets . Are my aging eyes failing me? Any comments?

Yes, mentioned several weeks ago that Ah Mow-Santos was working with both setters on jump sets and moving more to the ball.
to be honest, wasn’t watching all of warmups.

Yep. UC Davis is the surprise team in the Big West so far. CSUN did not look very good against Long Beach State in the 1st two sets in the match going on right now. Very sluggish.

I don’t think either team looks that good, if that’s our top competition for the league I feel pretty good about the wahine’s chances. Both those teams have passing and setting issues , like UH but don’t have the outside hitting UH has.

so we got blog ready for vs irvine?

a better (million dollar) question, are na wahine ready for tonight?

the bows may need to deploy an all armored (block) force and unlike during oregon and ucla be more mobile (speedy) and definitely not fall asleep or be caught chillin on the court.

Beach just beat Matadors…Re: Huskers, they probably used up all of their emotion on Penn St…

a couple ‘push comes to shove’ matches nebraska ‘besieged’ by ohio state in a 5 set after nebraska ‘successfully’ defended their turf but requiring a ‘punchout’ to do so. lmu fails in their siege on gonzaga, falls to a ‘punchout’ in a ‘push comes to shove’.

na wahine better not let irvine conquer their aina tonight. the lady bows better move with purpose.
