the arena wi-fi

have passed along some of the problems to UH which include:

limited to 2 hours

confusion over the ‘free wi-fi access’ and the TWCable access

the system overloaded last night

something to be pointed out

There are 2 internet things you can pick up in the arena

1 is the free wi-fi which will say free wi-or something like that (not there yet, will clarify)

it has the wi-fi icon. you click on that, agree to terms, you get 2 hours. You cannot log off and sign back in to have the 2 hours start again. it has kept track of how much you used and will tell you how much you have left. happened to me, had 55 minutes when I finally got back on after being kicked off. when your 2 hours is up, the icon on the page on your device will basically show a grey looking icon like a signal tower with a line through it. means you’re done.

the other is TWC Cable. that page that comes up asks if you have a log in, want to create one, and have them send you a passcode. kind of misses the point when you can’t access your email to get the passcode. unless you’re using like 3

on the same page is a sign in for folks who have webmail through TWC, which I believe is the roadrunner email. (hawaii.rr.com)

You can access the TWC free internet through your roadrunner account. The arena is considered a ‘speedzone.’
