    Who blocks for Chow/Higgins?

  3. mainlandgal March 20, 2014 9:13 pm

#2 most likely Higgins as Chow is better at defense and covers the back court very well

    3. think so. higgins listed at 5-9, chow 5-5. haven’t really seen them play. Chow has also been with 6-2 Urban

R and R, HI4, did not have a good game against USC1. r looked discouraged. Hope they can bounce back.

Nebraska is #8?? Look at those scores, they had a tough time scoring 10 points.

  7. mainlandgal March 21, 2014 2:53 pm

Riggs/Rooks having a tough day is an understatement. Have watched Riggs play for two seasons now. Seems Rooks isn’t at her level of play. Time for a switch in partners perhaps?

No shame in losing to USC’s top team of Burham/Hughes but losing to Nebraska’s 5 team, wow that was bad, not sure what happened to Rook and Riggs, they had been pretty solid so far, beating teams they should have and only losing to Pepp and USC.

Is Olivia Urban hurt or did Tayler Higgins just play herself into one of the top 5 duos?

  10. WhyWhat March 21, 2014 10:20 pm

    Playing time.

  11. uhfan March 22, 2014 1:14 pm

Maybe they should try Riggs/Urban. Higgins/Chow seem to be a good pair. They made it to the quarterfinals.

  12. formerlywarriorfan March 22, 2014 1:49 pm

Not sure Urban is quick enough. Not a good weekend for Speiler/Taylor after last weekends huge success bit of a letdown they didn’t even make the semifinals.

  13. Mainlandgal March 22, 2014 4:11 pm

Seems like a tough weekend for UH Sandbows all the way around.
#12 Agree, don’t think Urban is a good match for Riggs. Do think a change is needed however. Riggs/Rooks did come back to take the Silver Bracket Championship but don’t think the competition level was much based on their scores.
Nor Cal is next so let’s see what changes are put I I place and if the Sandbows can bounce back a little.
