new sand poll: Wahine stay at 3, USC up to No. 1

http://avca.org/sand/poll/

sorry for the delay Had two interviews and the dentest

BTW, SandBows last home matches Saturday vs. HPU and Chaminade at Queen’s. The schedule has been switched and they will play HPU at 9 a.m., Chaminade at 10 a.m. Only the match with the Sea Warriors will count in UH’s record. something about only counting one match vs. a ‘club team.’

SC (10-1) and Pepperdine (9-1) swap at 1-2 after the Women’ of Troy beat the Waves back on March 25 4-1 at SC.

3-7 stay the same: Hawaii 12-2, FSU 10-1, The Beach 4-3, UCLA 6-3, FIU 9-2.  Georgia  State 9-3 and Nebraska 3-2 swap at 8-9 and St. Mary’s 3-0shares No. 9 with the Huskers when moving up from 10.

    3.

I always wondered had Hawaii news now won the bid for broadcasting UH sports if they would be able to do multi TV sport casting considering they consist of KFVE, KGMB and KHNL. In this situation, they could show the softball game and the vball game. In the instance where they would still want to blackout the vball game to Oahu but still show it to neighbor island residents, I’m sure they could do that as well. Although I’m not sure how costly that would be to do two sportscasts at the same time. It would be beneficial especially when there are two great games going on the same time.

    1. They are not

    1. Geno is correct; Baseball on Friday is on TV.
    3. True, but you can listen online at nbcsportsradiohawaii.com for both nights

1 & 5: The UH website says the softball game is being televised but the Oceanic tv listing says the baseball game is being televised. It’s beyond me why they decided not to televise both final volleyball home matches of the season but at least they are televising something.

2: I doubt that even factored into their decision; but, if it did then really the decision not to televise a match to drive up attendance is not their’s to make. UH should be the one making that decision. Oceanic’s job is to televise matches period.

Agree with rayson for his second point. Oceanic don’t care about attendance. In fact, Oceanic wants people to watch it at home instead.

The softball broadcast on Friday at 6pm is not a television broadcast. Its an internet video stream: http://www.livestream.com/nawahinesoftball

Thanks for all the help before I got to this.
    See new thread.
And agree that Oceanic doesn’t care who goes where to games. They want people to watch on TV.
KHNL-KFIVE never did two simultaneous broadcasts, so doubt that they would do it now when affiliated with KGMB.
