  4. Volleyball fan December 5, 2013 3:49 pm

Too bad the Northridge-Colorado State match is not shown live on the Internet. It would have been fun to watch as the second set is very close. All we can view is live-stats.

  5. LC December 5, 2013 3:53 pm

CSUN is on the internet.Leading in set 2 18-14.

  6. Volleyball fan December 5, 2013 4:01 pm

LC, please tell me how did you find the video of the match on the Internet?

Meanwhile I see that Northridge won set two as well.

  7. LC December 5, 2013 4:02 pm

CSUN up 2-0 on Colorado State playing really loose.CSU looking very tight even the coaching staff.

  8. Volleyball fan December 5, 2013 4:03 pm

Oh, I just found out looking at the Northridge website. I feel so stupid not having thought of it sooner. Well, at least I’ll get to see set three after the intermission.

  9. LC December 5, 2013 4:03 pm

Have to hunt for some of these live feeds in the first & second rounds. I always just go to the host school web site.

  11. Cindy Luis December 5, 2013 4:14 pm

all matches are being streamed live.

  12. Volleyball fan December 5, 2013 4:17 pm

Northridge has fallen way behind in the third set, not so sharp any more.

  13. LC December 5, 2013 4:18 pm

Finding them isn’t easy for some haven’t seen a central place to find links.

  14. LC December 5, 2013 4:19 pm

    12. You jinxed them 🙂

  15. LC December 5, 2013 4:22 pm

The NCAA use to put a little yellow camera on their bracket but haven’t seen that this year.

    C’mon Northridge

  20. LC December 5, 2013 4:28 pm

16 I would like to see CSUN win .

  21. LC December 5, 2013 4:30 pm

2-1 CSUN set 3 coming up.

  22. Volleyball fan December 5, 2013 4:32 pm

    19. How come you put a smile next to the statement of my jinxing them? It made it sound like you were glad about that or joking. Anyway, Northridge lost the third set and now looks completely rattled, out of kilter. Announcer mentioned that Colorado State has come back from being down 2-0 in recent years. Unless Northridge figures out how to shake this off, the Rams will ram them to the wall.

  23. LC December 5, 2013 4:39 pm

    Volleyball fan

You said “Northridge has fallen way behind in the third set, not so sharp any more.”

I said “You jinxed them” 🙂 because they were doing good until you started watching,I was joking but sometimes that doesn’t across on the internet.

  24. hollycow December 5, 2013 4:44 pm

Northridge up 9-5 in 4th. Never did like Hilbert, after UH beat them in the 2nd round he was one of those voting UH low in the polls.

  25. Volleyball fan December 5, 2013 4:57 pm

Well, whether joking or not, seems like I jinxed the Matadors. They fell behind in the fourth set after leading so now it goes to the do or die fifth set.

  26. Volleyball fan December 5, 2013 5:09 pm

Wow, score is tied 7-7 after a tremendous dig rally by Northridge. Colorado State called timeout. Now it’s anybody’s game.

  27. Cindy Luis December 5, 2013 5:19 pm

    CSUN wins in 5 15-12

  28. Cindy Luis December 5, 2013 5:20 pm

Pretty funny in the press conference Shoji had gametracker on his phone. after all the questions were done, he said, ‘come on northridge.

  29. hollycow December 5, 2013 5:26 pm

    Yes Northridge!

  30. Volleyball fan December 5, 2013 5:30 pm

So now we’re all glad that Northridge won. I wonder if we’ll be able to view the USC vs Northridge subregional final tomorrow or only TV Cable/Satellite subscribers can watch it as I can’t watch the match tonight between USC and New Hampshire.

  31. Cindy Luis December 5, 2013 5:35 pm

all matches are streamed live through NCAA.com.

  32. LC December 5, 2013 5:38 pm

  33. Grammy December 5, 2013 7:11 pm

CSUN at least has shown that BWC is no fluke. Hawaii and UCSB up next. Go Wahine! Go BWC (got to help our RPI if BWC does well, doesn’t it?)

  34. Warriorfan December 5, 2013 8:00 pm

Well won’t know for sure if the BWC was good until UCSB beats San Diego and Northridge beats USC since I believe Colorado State was severely over rated.

  35. OrbitalRipZ December 6, 2013 6:27 am

Re: 34 Don’t think Colorado St was “severely over rated” at all. They were not seeded. They had a great season but had their MO popped when they lost to San Diego St.

Think San Diego has one of the harder first-round draws for a seeded team. Less we forget, San Diego defeated UH in the non-conference season.

Before the BWC’s mid-season upsets began, there was NOT A SINGLE POSTER ON THIS BLOG who predicted 3 teams — or even 2 teams! — would be in the NCAA Championship. So far so good. If UCSB pulls off this Round 1 upset and if UH plays like it played in its non-conference season and conference season ending, BWC is back from its “back in the day” glory days.

  36. Tiki808 December 6, 2013 12:06 pm

personally, I’d go with the better lineup. But since Hawai’i is good enough this year, I’ll pick Hawai’i in their own sub regional. 69 degrees in Hawaii. 44 degrees in LA. I don’t think any of them will be out on the beaches yet, so staying home waiting for the game is a must.
