Yeah. I expected UH to move up.
Evidently UCSB got the nod over Hawaii due to its undefeated record so far and having beaten #1 Stanford. Let’s just hope that Hawaii won’t get upset this week.by the Tritons. No letdown, guys!
3. re: UCSB. Probably the reason.
I had Hawaii No. 8 in VB Mag poll. They are 9; received votes last week.
Long beach state moved up a spot to No. 4 from last week despite going 1-1 here.
VB Mag poll (first-place votes in parenthesis)
1. Pepperdine (7). 2. Loyola (2). 3. UCLA (1). 4. Long Beach State. 5. UCSB. 6. BYU. 7. USC. 8. Stanford. 9. Hawaii. 10. UCIrvine. RV: Lewis, Penn State.
Is nainoa frank still playing volleyball?
Is Nick Castello still playing volleyball?
Think I saw Nainoa at the Stanley at Thursday’s game on the concourse. Good sign if it was indeed Mr. Frank.
Is he related to Keali’i (spelling?) Frank who played middle blocker for the Warriors a few years ago?
6. Yup little brother,
I am expecting Luke Owens to take West’s place.
Did anyone else see that rumor on volleytalk about Kendra Koelsch playing indoors , I’d personally like that. But three setters on scholarship hmm.
Great article by Ms. Miller this morning…
looks like decent competition in the pre-season – very excited for the 2014 season to begin.
5. yes, Castello is in the Czech Republic
