UH starintg Sedore, Fey, Franciskovic, Zarkovic, Averill, Holt, Kanetake. I’ts 12-9 in Set 1.
If I had to guess, I’d say Warriors 3-0
15-10, UH, and UCLA has just taken its second TO.
Video on PAC-12 network for subscribers to various content providers
UCLA, with errors across the board and hitting .000, loses S1 by 12.
UH wins 25-13
8-6 UH. UCLA just turned positive for the match.
If UH keeps there serves in and target Arnitz., they should dominate.
S2: 13-8 UH. UCLA takes its first TO, and is back into negative hitting for the match.
I enjoy Kevin Wong and Kevin Barnett commentating, so much better than yesterday.
as you can see by the Gametracker, UH up 13-8. TO

Wong and Barnett a much better Combo. Don’t think Preston was bad yesterday but his color guy kept talking over him.
Thanks Cindy for the audio url, it’s not on UH’s site 🙂
I think Jennings need sto set the middle more. He is going to the pins to much. UH letting UCLA hang around.
After three straight points by UCLA, at 16-13 UH takes its first TO of the match.
I like Kevin Wong, he votes Averill for POY, Hope the coaches listen to him.
15. Doubt if Wong has much influence on the voting.
Voting done by committee. I’m sure Averill will be in consideration.
UH wins 25-18
UH letting UCLA hang around. Fey not really passing like he did yesterday.
Hope Hartley starts next week , especially on senior night.
Wonderful. Warriors, indeed!
UH wins 25-18. First time since 03 they’ve swept in Westwood.
Imo, wade is a clear lock for mpsf COY
Wow. Talk about efficient hitting. Siki and Averil no hitting errors and Fey with only 1.
22. Agree. Impressive. hit 465. season high for conference play. Just 5 total errors, 4 by Sedore and 1 by Fey.
First time since 03 that UH has won both in Westwod. 14 consecutive wins the most since the 2006 team won 19.
Any idea when the MPSF Qtr final tickets go on sale?
Love the stats, but only 3 digs for Kanetake? He was averaging nearly 3 a set before injury, Hope he isn’t hurting too much and is back to digging double digits soon.
21. Brandon. I agree.
26. to help with his back issue, they changed where he was on the court, moving him to from left-back to middle-back.
3 digs does seem a little low. But UH was so dominate in other parts of the game.
when you have 12.6 blocks and few hitting errors, there aren’t going to be many long rallies or digs.
From UH’s email this afternoon:
MPSF Tournament Quarter-Final Ticket Information
With the win over UCLA last night, the Warriors earned at least a top-four finish in the conference regular season and the right to host a MPSF Tournament quarter-final match at the Stan Sheriff Center, April 25 at 7:30 p.m.
Season-ticket holders will be sent an order form in the coming days to purchase the same great seats they’ve had for the regular season.
General public sales will begin Tuesday, April 14 at 9:00 a.m
25. Via H mail email I received today General public tickets for the MPSF tournament quarterfinal will go on sale Tuesday April 14 at 9:00am
Switching to the wahine a bit. I do find it a little interesting that it was mentioned there would be new player for the wahine , just after Nebraska was here in the islands. It could just be a coincidence but I think Kira Larson or Maddie Haggerty would be great additions. Larson I believe is very good friends with Nikki Taylor and is a high flying middle.
Haggerty would add depth and chances of getting her sister Molly who is a top 10 recruit in 2016, would be good IMO. I do no foresee Molly Haggerty staying a verbal commit to Nebraska with sister Maddie not being there anymore.
I think I would prefer Haggerty between the two.
31. Kira Larson is from Fargo, No. Dakota. Mary Shoji is from Fargo, No. Dakota. Coincidence?
Thanks for the ticket info 🙂 Any idea if they’ll be available online?
31. the info about the new player was before Nebraska was here.
33. yes they will be online.
BTW, tickets seem to be going fast for Satnford matches next week.
.34
thanks, too bad UH doesn have more scholarships to offer, lots of quality transfers in the past week. Taylor Fricano 6′ 4 OH from Wisconsin too.
35. I hope Senior night will be over 7,000 in attendance. This is a great senior class.
Tks Cindy – so glad they’ll be online.
I’m glad I got my Senior Nite tickets on the 25th – hardly any pairs of seats left.
36. UH is loaded as it is. good problem for Shoji to have but still going to be a problem.
BTW, congrats to Missouri’s Carly Kan, named to World University Games team today.
Cindy,
Any rough numbers on tickets sold already for next weekend’s stanford matches? Lower bowl already sold out?
I don’t but I will ask the SID.
lower bowl hasn’t been completely sold out. You can go online to see what seats are available.
http://www.etickethawaii.com/sports.html
For both matches, 3 lower sections have sold out. they list the others as ‘low’ availability.
They have opened 5 upper level sections for Saturday’s match.
No upper yet for Friday.
