How much losses do we have to endure till enough is enough??? Please put someone else in charge as an interim. And Why put ikaika in soo late? Max had 33% completions and ikaika had 55% what does that say?
He has no concern for the sake of the program or the university base on that comment, “not worried”. I am appalled looking at the depths of despair for the fans and those of the players. One who have concern and compassion may have said “I am worried of where the program has fallen to, due to the results of the last 4 years. For the sake of the players, the fans and the University of Hawaii I will be?
Chow either totally misses the point of the question about his job or is apparently avoiding answering in the context that everyone else has posed it. It is rather unbelievable, and this is the stuff that will probably make the decision to let him go by the UH admin, well academic (no pun intended).
I guess if I earned $2 million in four years to close out a career, I wouldn’t worry. Go back to Manhattan Beach, buy a new car, have a nice dinner….Ahhhh, life is good. Yeah he wished he could have won more games, but all that’s happened is confirmation he was never head coaching material. But at age 69, who cares? And all this at Hawaii’s expense. Yeah, he’s not worried about his job. Time now to sit back and write a book.
Wow, Chow doesn’t give a bleep. The players are saying the right things to back him up. One of the player’s comments is that it’s not all on the coaches, we are in this together. Last time I looked it was the coaches job to make sure they provide the players with the best chance at success. They are supposed to lead, provide scouting Intel, develop a game plan, make adjustments during the game and manage throughout using their supposed wealth of experience and knowledge.
Well if the coaches did their job on that 2nd non TD by AFA by challenging or at least calling a time out, isn’t that an indication of competent game management? I asked about this phantom TD last night, check the blog. Isn’t it time for Chow to give a bleep about being a good coach that is able to make crucial game time decisions? He should give a bleep about the team and less on yelling at refs, yelling at his assistants in public and making those sour faces on National TV.
Also said many times, there has to be an underlying reason why this is is first and only head coaching college job. All the other schools that passed him by knew something and too bad the upper Manoa power brokers were too blind to recognize the very apparent deficiencies all the other universities knew where there.

It looks like Freitas was one of the power brokers behind UH football. If he was the trump card that got Chow in as HC, then his retirement announcement is welcome news.
Please UH, no more power brokers. Just let the AD do his job. If the AD fails, then hold him accountable. UH doesn’t need anymore ego driven power broker behind the scenes.
808, amen to that. It’s become standard operating procedure for unnamed power brokers to micromanage UH ADs. We can only hope Matlin can buck this trend.

Hey!. Happy Halloween but it’s was pass by Hawaii! . Now and look at this University of Miami Head Coach got fired and other college too!. Because they’re gotten blown up by a large score!. Pictures this 58 – 7 is nothing to come!. Just wait when they play next week up here in Las Vegas!. I bet you all Hawaiian fans the bet book giving UNLV 45 point favor to win!. I promise you that? Because Hawaii beat them big or what happened in Hawaii last year !. I’ll already given the final score 72-0 UNLV!. Because the new AD at the University of Hawaii is just sitting on his ass and not doing anything about it at all!. He just sitting down and getting paid by the school for doing nothing!. Boy!. Hawaii people could we all wish we all had his job!. Just sitting down our ass and watching sports on TV?. I know, I would with the paid he gets ever year!. Because he is not doing his job right in the first place!. Because, I understand that they most bring in more people and fans to the games! But not a losting season every year and win only 1,2 or 3 games each year!. It’s better to 10 to 12 year old kids play football or girls playing jump rope!. Hey!. Maybe the University of Hawaii football team could win that game against other countries jump rope!. Peoples in Hawaii look at the picture now!. Why do five and four star high school players go to the mainland university then Hawaii? Not!.Becauseroproscouts

Remember that up here we get the same things in Hawaii! And also as former Hawaiian we can make our own food too!. SO YOU UNIVERSITY AD MARTIN DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT RIGHT NOW! OR IT WILL REALLY SERIOUSLY GETS WORST!!!. REMEMBER IT’S NOT FOR THE FANS WHO RESPECT THE UNIVERSITY!. But how the school will make money! I hope not by selling Zippy’s chili or Huli Huli chicken! That will never help the University out for their football program! Hey! You only show it for the basketball program!. But come down to this that? They really seriously should get out from the top of the University to they down to the iast person!. Because they never find to keep former AD Jay!. He did a lot’s for the University! You have forget and forgive him if he made mistakes!. Because he made the plans for the University to play Ohio State, Kansas, Michigan and UCLA and other big university!. Martin he only made a team from Division two schools to play the University of Hawaii! Maybe he will schedule a game with High School program or Korean Bar girls around the countries! I would to see them play games against Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, LSU, Arkansas and other conference like SEC, ACC, PAC 12, Big ten and the Big 12!. Whatever happened to Penn State?!. I thought that the universe were planning it games against them! Did we GAY out of it!. I was going to say Fag out of it! But Fag in the dictionary and it said its means hard work!.
