Looking forward to this season big time!
Wow. That OL looks good on tape. Seemed like every play he was knocking someone down on his rear. But a nice add on since we lost a couple.
Excellent! Great on tape – everyone one he touched seemed to find the ground quickly!
Kifi – are you seeing this?!
Great addition. Timing could not be better. How was Stephen Bernal-Wendt not recruited? He looks good in his Sr. highlight video.
Not surprised at additions-probably a few more esp OL or DL
Rec’d my invite to new helmet unveiling Aug 13. From Na Koa. If no a member of Na Koa please consider-if sittin in the weeds to get season tickets, jump out and pull the trigger. This will be Coach Rolovich’s first real version of Warrior football. My prediction no blowouts competitive every game, winning season!!!!! I’m all in!!! GoWarriors!
OUTSTANDING … love the fact that he’s got a Rugby background … that’s one TOUGH game & he’s got great size … thanks for coming home to be a Rainbow Warrior.
LIVE ALOHA / PLAY WARRIOR / DEFEND THE ROCK … GO ‘BOWS !!!!!
Also just curious who he was being recruited by …
Good thing is this guy can play D line also. If Oline does not work out for him, he can move to the other side. We have a walk on in Zeno Choi there already.
I think it’s easier to be a walk on and play D the O. Perfectly honest, I don’t remember a walk on who make any impact as an O linemen.
University of Hawai’i women’s volleyball player Norene Iosia has been named to the 12-player U.S. Women’s Junior National Team (WJNT) and will compete this coming week at the 2017 FIVB Volleyball Women’s U20 World Championship in Boca del Rio and Cordoba, Mexico as announced on Tuesday.
The World Championship event will be held from July 14-23. The U.S. qualified for the World Championship by winning gold at the 2017 Women’s U20 Pan American Cup in San Jose, Costa Rica.
University of Hawai’i men’s basketball head coach Eran Ganot announced the hiring of Marlon Stewart as an assistant coach. Stewart has been working in collegiate basketball for more than a decade, including the last three seasons at the University of Montana.
A native of Washington, Stewart boasts a depth of championship experience. He’s been associated with four different programs across the nation and has been part of the postseason in 12 of the last 13 seasons. He’s also worked with a number of players who have gone on to the NBA, including 2017 NBA Rookie of the Year Malcolm Brogdon.
“We’re excited to add Marlon to the team,” Ganot said. “Marlon is well respected for his
work ethic, coaching acumen, and recruiting, particularly on the international front and in the Northwest. His experience working with winning programs and NBA-caliber players will be a true asset to our student-athletes. He’s passionate about the game, particularly on the defensive end, and we can’t wait to get things going with him.”
#8,
How soon some forget……
Can’t forget C Shawn Ching…..formerly Shawn Alivado.
More recently, C Derek Fa’avi, OT Keoni Steinhoff, C Bronson Tiwanak, and C Brenden Urban were all initial walk-on OL who became starters for UH….
Good timing to get offensive lineman since we have injuries there. Goodluck Stephan…..

Hey Everybody –
It’s been way too long since I posted. I’ve been very busy with work and golf tournaments. I got a call from Rainbow Cliff today asking if I was still alive. YES!!
Anyway, I plan on going to the UH/UCLA game in September, and will try to arrange the best Cattle Call ever in memory of Las Vegas for the UH/UNLV game in November. I may even try for the Reno game on October 7th.
This will be another great year for Warrior Football and all of your support is required!!
All the best,
Rich2176
More details later, but I miss all of you. I can be reached at rich2176 @ yahoo.com
Howz It Tsaiko Nation !
Just got off the phone with Rich 127 as it was just WONDERFUL hearing from him!
My guy has been plenty busy in the LA entertainment industry as even Stephen Spielberg can’t touch him. Bottom line we got talking about Vegas and wanting to have a memorable calf call that he CAN make happen with a solid connection he has maintained over the years. All we need to know IF it comes available who will show up from Tsaiko Nation adding to this way over do reunion ?
Just leave a post and Steve when you read this start the ball rolling on your Tsaiko Schedule that you do so very well. Rich Darvey is BACK !
Also…we’ll need a good Cattle Call in Pasadena/Glendale, or where most folks have their hotel. Even if I can’t make the game due to a golf tournament that day (dang 2:00pm kickoff), I can certain spend time Friday night with the traveling Tsaikos.
Richie Rich I’m there !
Looking forward to a GREAT Tsaiko Calf Call Reunion !
Your the BEST !
