> Kapoi is a 2016 Kamehameha-Kapalama graduate. As a senior, he was named to your favorite newspaper’s All-State first team as a defensive lineman. He also won the state title in the shot put.
> He was at Navy’s prep academy for a year, meaning his NCAA eligibility did not trigger until his first year at the Naval Academy, in 2017. He played in 12 games as a sophomore in 2018. He moved back to Hawaii last month, and is set to enroll at UH this summer.
