13 freshmen are officially Warriors
Thirteen freshmen started their UH football careers today with the start of the bridge session — two full-credit classes that lead to the opening of training camp.
The newcomers all checked in by this past weekend.
Training camp opens in exactly one month.

Welcome to the family and defending the rock.
Welcome aboard!
Hmm….so help me out. Who is missing other then BlessmannTaala? I think I see the two Greeley brothers but Karson is a walk on so there is 2 missing from the recruiting class right?
Donovan Dalton? Josaiah Maama? Blessman Ta’ala?
Hmmm……
Only 1 Greeley twin (Kade) in the photo…..
Donovan not arriving until just before Fall Camp…..
The rest are coming for the start of training camp.
Oops sorry…yeah ..I thought Hekili was Karson…..My bad.
The Farrington QB starts next week, which is the opening of Summer Session II
Is there a reason for the others to arrive so late? That must indicate that these kids will certainly redshirt right?
I understand Blessman had some kind of injury but why is Dalton and Maama coming in late? Injuries also? With the lost of KingJames I thought someone like Maama might get a look.

Haven’t been this for a long time

11 weeks from now!
I just purchased the best available 250 tickets ($65 each); on the Hawaii side line in Sections 7H & 8L; 10-19 rows up around the 5 yard line. these sections are closer to the field as this stadium curves in & this is where visiting fans sit. This stadium has 77+ rows so this are great seats closer to the field. let me know if you want these tix as I had to pay for these upfront. Text me at 415-324-0585.

Ok my bad 11 is two ones
#10 Kahuna … I believe the others will be in camp the first day. Until then the coaches are unable to coach or grade any athletes on the team. These guys are here to get a head start on class credits so they have less to do during the year. There certainly might be a connection to redshirting but I think that would relate to only a few with injuries or other issues. The guys arriving August 1 for fall camp will be just as likely to be competing for playing time. My guess is most will redshirt anyway and that there’s talent enough among last year’s redshirts. Out of sight, out of mind for most of us … remember there was some good talent among last year’s redshirts.
Welcome to the family boys.
Aloha and welcome! Dream big, work hard!
The key to good grades is to read, read and read your
material and then if you want to excel, go to the library
and read above and beyond what is taught. And put
what you learn in your written exams or if not possible,
ask the teacher questions about it… And, oh yes,
never ever ride a moped till you graduate, for the sake
of Coach Rolo 🙂
Good looking group especially Kipper Graves and Mermea. Nice to have a bridge program. Back in my time it would have been a “bridge too far”!
out in da street, they call it murder.

maddog50:
my “bridge program” to UH was the Honolulu Air Force recruiting officer was court martialed and USAF decided to take all our records for the trial
i had taken the test and physical exam and ready to join the Air Force and nothing happened — we were never notified of the above, so I wrote to UH Admissions and started my UH career
