Falemalu, Fonoti expected to miss UNLV game

UH head coach Greg McMackin said he does not expect defensive ends Paipai Falemalu or Fetaiagogo Fonoti to play in Saturday’s game against UNLV. Both did not practice today. SUMMERLIN, NEV. —  The Warriors reportedly are interested in 10 Las Vegas-area football prospects. The coaches are scheduled to visit schools this week. One of  the stops is expected to be Liberty High. Alexander, Paredes win WAC honors; d1 wins hotel stay

Quarterback Greg Alexander and linebacker Corey Paredes were named the WAC’s weekly winners as the top offensive and defensive players, respectively. In a 38-20 victory over Washington State, Alexander completed 26 of 36 passes for 453 yards and three touchdowns.
