Akiu invited to NT tryouts; MVB scores

Congrats to Tita Akiu, her third straight year being invited to this

Akiu will be among 45 liberos vying for a spot on the U.S. Women’s National Team and the U.S. Collegiate National Team programs during the March 1-3 tryouts at the U.S. Olympic Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Each athlete will have one tryout session on Friday, one morning and one afternoon session on Saturday and one morning session on Sunday.

    Congrats to Tita.

    On the beach, Pepperdine also returns 9 out of 10 starters from last season which is probably why they are ranked ages of UH in pre-season despite narrowly losing to UH at NCAA’s. Stanford also has a sting team bolostered by indoor players (No Plummer this season though). Tough competition out of the gate.

    Pepperdine actually has 12 returnees and 9 of which are starters. They also added strong freshmen.
