RENO >> The Warriors. who arrived in Reno late Thursday, spent today practicing for two hours at a nearby high school, attending meetings, and participating in study hall.

The Warriors have followed a road schedule, which was implemented last year, in which they have a walk-through session at UH on Thursday and a more extensive practice on the road on Friday.

After practice, there is study hall, then dinner, and then more meetings.

The weather was in the 80s today, but is expected to drop into the 50s for tomorrow’s game against Nevada.

Rush ends Jonah Kahahawai-Welch and Kaimana Padello
Defensive end Mason Vega and quarterback Cole McDonald
Placekicker Ryan Meskell and punter Stan Gaudion

On the road, it takes improvising. This is the “equipment room.”

San Jose State playing Air Force tough @ Air Force. I think may circled the home game vs SJSU as a W at the beginning of the season. That will be a tough game.

Who will be attending this game at Reno; I will with our diehard group of 40; including Fuchsia Yamashiro; her mom Lynette & superfan Wayne Coito–this is his 50th straight UH football game (counting all road and home games). Also with us are the parents of DE Derek Thomas #48, RT Gene Pryor #74, and punter Ben Scruton #36.

Forecast calls for showers with temperature down to the 40’s.

    GO WARRIORS!

Watched the San Jose game and their QB really sucked. We should be able to get a win over them.

we cannot find the “tsaiko face book page’ referred to by BG — of course it would help if we had a face book account/page.

from yesterday’s posts, it appears that Kekoa, a life long Tsaiko and close friend, is not doing well and perhaps ready to join former Tsaikos who have made their journey to the best seats in the house for any game — home or on the road!!!

to Mrs. Di our heartfelt thoughts and prayers!

any one on this blog know Kekoa’s status? please post.

BYU can match up physically with a lot of Top teams but something is missing. They can be a “National Program” similar to Notre Dame if they just figure it out. UH has to get on their level physicality wise. I think Rolo has the “missing” part that BYU lacks. Real soon I think.

  13. A-House September 28, 2019 11:43 am

our back side neighbor’s neighbor is doing major reconstruction to the original house — appears a large 2nd floor addition, renovation of the entire ‘original’ house [ bottom ], and now adding what appears to be a gazebo with a roof extending over the house roof by some 3′ with very little space to fix the roof

most amazing thing to me is the tightly closed 2nd flr windows to prevent rain from coming in, but there is NO ROOF on the extension — very heavy rains the past 2 weeks have soaked the entire 2nd flr — why close the windows when there is NO roof????????????

Wishing for this. Wont happen but just wishing.

RPO Wildcat… Victor as QB. Reed as offset RB or Holly as pistol RB or Stovall as “movable piece” slot/RB/flanker. Keliikipi as TE or H (closely aligned slot right side) to block primarily or slip into short route. Opposite TE (left side, assuming Victor is right handed) will be Manning (blocking only). LT Eletise, LG Vaipulu, C Levao. RG Hensley, RT Pryor. Wideouts Smart and Mardner (more physical and able to jump ball in iso for short route). Just wishing.
