Team’s direct flight to Dallas was delayed. They ended up taking one through Los Angeles then to Dallas. The plan was then to drive to Waco.

As mentioned previously, the Ferrell Center is the same blueprint as the Stan Sheriff Center. For volleyball they curtain off the upper deck, seating is 6,000

Krug traveled? She hasn’t played a minute yet this season. Why the secrecy about the travel squad? It’s weird.
Light hearted observations (not accounting for posture, stance, footwear, etc.):
Robyn and Brooke are the same height. Riley is taller than Braelyn. Hanna is taller than Skyler. Skyler is taller than Amber, Tiffany and Jolie.
Maybe more observation on Sunday or Monday
Forget to mention Janelle is taller than Robyn and Brooke.
travel roster seems to be a mystery. i agree, that it’s weird if Krug made the trip since she has yet to play a set this season. guess we will find out Sunday when we can actually watch one of the games.

With travel roster speculation, I would not be surprised if whole team went. NCAA roster size seems to be more related to the Tournament and how many bodies they will pay for travel, etc. 15 is the maximum number that can suit up in a given Tournament match. Similarly. maybe BWC will only compensate for 14 for travel plus x number for staff.
I think 11 is suggesting that Akana is already on mainland and is not fllying with the team. Missouri and Baylor are not BWC matches. If the team is not coming back to Hawaii, but staying on the mainland until conference play starts it seem like a long time for one or two players not to be with the team practicing, etc. Which probably means the bottom line is what UH athletic department decides it can afford.
Oregon has already lost to Duke…
I’m thinking perhaps part of the decision making criteria on the travel squad might include academic consideration. It’s a long road trip, 12 days, so a seldom used player may benefit in the classroom by deferring to travel on this trip. Academics first, right?

Both Missouri and Baylor showed better discipline avoiding cheap net violations & receiving-errors. JR-less-wahine still could give a good challenge to Missouri if filled with another taller front row player to slow down Kylie, 6’4” OH, their go-to player…

Buzzworthy: Coming into Saturday (9/21), there are only 5 undefeated NCAA D1 women’s volleyball teams left: Pittsburgh (11-0), Memphis (11-0), California (9-0), Hawai’i (9-0), and Baylor (8-0).
Pittsburgh, picked to finish 1st in the 15-team ACC, swept Penn State, which hasn’t happen to PSU at home in non-conference play since 1986. Nit Lions will visit Pittsburgh for a rematch this Sunday. BTW: The city of Pittsburgh, in conjunction with Duquesne University, will host the 2019 D1 Women’s Volleyball Championship.
Memphis, picked to finish last (LAST!) in the 12-team American Athletic Conference (where UCF is the top choice), takes on Southeast Missouri on Saturday.
California, expected to tie for 8th in the 12-team Pac-12, swept St. Mary’s (4-5) in Berkeley; on Saturday, the Gaels of the 10-team WCC, hope to return the favor as they host the Golden Bears in Moraga.
In the 10-team Big 12, it’s all about Texas, which has been chosen as the league’s preseason favorite for 8 consecutive years. But Baylor, picked again to finish 2nd, is entered the buzzworthy conversation since posting that W on the road over Wisconsin.
