Hawaii football: Former coach Dick Tomey dies at 80

Former University of Hawaii football coach Dick Tomey died on Friday night at age 80, causing a cascade of condolences, reflection and tributes spanning social media.

Tomey posted a head-coaching record of 63-46-3 at Manoa spanning 1977 to 1986.
