Warriors stay at 14 in poll & playoff stuffs

not much movement in the poll, BYU and The Beach 1-2. but the 49ers picked up two first-place votes.

UCLA and UCI stay a 3-4, Cal Baptist and Pepperdine trade places at 5-6.

7-8-9-10 stay the same with UCSB, Stanford, Lewis & CSUN

11 Loyola up 2 spots from 13, 12 Ohio State down 1 from 12. 13. Penn State down 1. 14 UH. 15. Ball State says put.

Warriors will know before they leave for UCSD whether they’re still in contention for that last berth.

CSUN is at UCI Wednesday. If the Matadors win, they’re in.

If they lose, then Hawaii has a chance by winning both vs. the Tritons Friday and Saturday.

CSUN at The Beach Saturday.

BYU, UCI and Long Beach State have clinched first-round hosting spots

BYU the overall No. 1 seed

UCI and Long Beach battling it out for 2-3 seed, both are 17-6. both finish by hosting CSUN

UCLA (14-8) current No. 4 but not not a done deal to host. Bruins could clinch it by defeating Pepperdine Wednesday. The Waves are still in it for No. 4 at 12-10. If they were to beat UCLA and UCSB, they’d also be at 14-10.  UCLA hosts USC Friday. Should the Bruins also finish 14-12, it would come down to Sets W-L for the tiebreaker with the Waves. UCLA swept Pepperdine last month. Should the Waves sweep the Bruins, it would come down to points. UCLA  has 75 to Pepperdine’s 53.

TY Cindy, actually you answered my incorrect question, I was meaning front row. I know she would never miss a trip to Cali to see family and friends.

P&G, haven’t heard about the WVB vs. SVB but if they end up with a bye week or make it part of the alumnae match week think it would be a great idea.
