Looks like Scott got Dave to change who went to Florida. It was Scott who mentioned on ESPN 1420 that he wanted to take the Florida trip but Dave overruled him.

I thought Scott going to Florida was the better choice because he has recruited there for awhile now.

At the JO’s the 16’s and 17’s competition doesn’t start until the 29th and 30th. The 18’s, where most of the 2014 class will be, starts on the 28th.

US is very dominating in the third set – won 25 – 16.

    1. All Shoji told me was that he was going to JOs after the World League.we never discussed Florida.
AAUs June 16-24 in Orlando. Shoji would have time to go to Florida too since he wouldn’t need to be in Minn until the 29th.

According to the FIVB scores, USA won in four sets and for the first time Taylor Sander outdid Matt Anderson. I recall that Kawika Shoji was subbed in at the first match with Bulgaria over there. Seems like he plays better against Bulgaria than the other teams.

    4. yes, 20-25, 25-22, 25-16, 25-16
Sander with 20 points, 14 kills, 3 blocks, 3 aces
Anderson 12 kills, a block and an ace. Rooney 10 kills, 2 blocks, an ace
and you’re right, Shoji did some in for Christensen a few weeks ago and helped the U.S. rally over Bulgaria
    U.S. now 7-0, Bulgaria 0-7

6-21 US – Bulgaria World league game – US came back from a 2 set deficit to win the 3rd and 4th set – 24-26, 17-25, 25-14, 25-13. Christenson came in to set beginning on the 3rd set. On to the 5th set – I hope US can win this one just like the one when they played in Bulgaria. Let’s go USA!
