Warriors rewind

As Warrior Fan said , what a great win for Hawaii. Give them a lot of credit for hanging in there after the way Set 3 went.

Zarkovic was money at the end 19-4-34 with 2 aces. He served the final five points.

Marks was a bit inconsistant bue finished 12-8-26 with 16 digs and four blocks.

Sedore 17-4-31 with 4 aces, 6 SE, four blocks.

Torres finishes 20-11-41.

Although Pepperdine won the block war: 14.5-10, UH outblocked the Waves 9-8 the rest of the way and 2-0 in Set 5.

Fun fact: Pepperdine setter Matt West is the godson of Reynette Ahuna, Tita Ahuna’s mom. Matt looked a bit ‘local’ but he is Peruvian-haole. Mom is a coach up in Seattle.

Anyway, heading over the Pali. Sunday should be very interesting.

It was a great game to watch, when we blew set 3 I thought it was all over. Zarkovic is a real character. He really got the fans into it with his clapping and waving. Sedore and Holt have come a long way. Charlie used his bench well. Dumphey rarely gets swept so like the Host said, Sun. will be interesting.

Didn’t see that the new blog was posted already. The Warriors did great last night. I liked the new lineup with Zarkovic and Marks on the outside. Sedore was the best last night. Hope he stays good.
