Sand volleyball fundraiser already in the works
Hope everyone is riding out the storms safely. Heavy rain in Kailua off and on with major wind gusts.
Spoke with Scott Wong Wednesday about a few things, including his upcoming 2nd Portuguese Horsehoes Tournament on Oct. 19.It coincides with National Sweetest Day of the Year. There may be malasadas involved.
Anyway, attached is the flyer. 230-6 p.m., Hunkai Park
Sponsor: $3,000. $125 per player, $200 for 2-person team.
$50 for ‘cheer squad’ to watch and enjoy heavy pupus and drinks.
Deadline: Oct. 9.

Cindy, r u aware that the “previous post” and “next post” links at the bottom of your posts are all for Stephen Tsai’s blog. No offense to Stephen, but when I want to read his blog, I will do so, but don’t want to be constantly directed to his when I’m trying to catch up on VB news!
