    OT-

Sand roster redone,Kastl dropped. Don’t know what it means if anything but I was positive that she said she would be playing on the sand team this season, could be just an inadvertent omission. She’s back in AZ right now. Something for CL to look into when she meets with them.

Looks like the schedule is completed with the exception of some start times.

    Congrats to Diane!!

    Kari Pestolesi:

    2009 AVCA HM All-American
U.S. Natl Team member & Swiss Pro (one season)
    AVP Beach VB athlete (currently)

..I’ve wondered previously, and now out loud, why she didn’t end up at UH (like her mom)?!

    Papakolea being represented as well.
    Congratulations.

UH wasn’t interested in K. Pestolesi. She was, however, interested in them.

Always wished Kari would have walked on, pretty sure she would have earned a scholarship after a few seasons, and would have started her jr/sr yearsl.

    6. walk on to UH vs. scholarship at UCI. no guarantee she would have ended up starting. As I mentioned, UH wasn’t interested.
She had a great career with the Anteaters.

What position did K. Pestolesi play? Her Jr/Sr years would have been 2009-2010. If she was at UH, would she have beaten out the likes of Danielson, Hewitt, Kaufman, Otineru and Hartong? If she was an OH, she might have beaten out Ferrell or Waber.

  8. Warriorfan February 17, 2014 8:02 pm

Of course she would have beaten out Ferrell and Waber, she was an OH.

  9. Cindy Luis February 17, 2014 8:50 pm

    8. don’t know if that would have happened in 09 (Hartong not on that team) but we’ll never know

in 2010 Waber was redshirting and Ferrell at Florida.
