Haha..l guess Kirsten Sibley(in the foreground) was too busy.

Plenty of volleyball names we’re there including Dave Shoji. Also saw Al Hannemann and his daughter Maia there.

  2. Cindy Luis February 24, 2019 9:38 am

    1. Mentioned Shoji above.
Sibley was working the tournament. Updating the SID with scores.
Yes, Al-B and daughter are here. See second photo.

In the previous blog on losing to Pepperdine, I forgot that the matches took place in Honolulu, not Malibu. That’s why I was thinking of the cold and snow there. My fault.

The women’s indoor staff were there as well, saw Robyn, Angelica, and Aven.

I was surprised to see UH lose Flts 1 & 2 against Stanford since Saint Marys swept Stanford. I guess the top two flts need more time to gel. If you have any other insights, I would like to hear them.
    Go Bows.

Cindy, isn’t that HFD cooling down the courts?

Ah, thanks for the reminder—Warriors and Wahine supporting each other!

  13. Cindy Luis February 25, 2019 2:49 pm

    10. Yes, Wahine indoor staff and players were there too
    11. surprised too. Stanford may have had a little more incentive. They had already lost the dual with Hawaii and were 0-4 for the tournament.
    12. thanks used the wrong letter.
