Wow thats so freaking sad. And even in my statement, its such an understatement. Unreal the domestic violence, and with this coming on the heels of local MMA fighter get her eye socked broken by her husband. I hope she pulls through and hope that guy gets justice…..

Too many stupid people out there…life is too precious to lose it over stupid things.

May God Bless Dani and her loved ones. Get well soon Dani!

Wow I am sorry to hear that about Danielle Scott-Arruda’s sister tragic passing and to her own critical injuries suffered from intervening. (as well to her niece’s injuries). Gosh, I just made a comment about our new recruit, Amber Igeide, being a type of Danielle Scott player. And this happens….I am in disbelief! That was a volleyball talk; this is
a real tragedy to her lost ones. I am truly sorry and praying

Domestic abuse/violence is not something to be irreverent about. Know who your audience is. This is the wrong blog for this sort of comment.

I once worked with a guy and we were talking about the Ray Rice incident. If you saw the video, clearly, you can see that the girlfriend could have died if she hit her head against the metal bar. It’s the sort of visual footage in which you assume everybody is on the same page. But he actually said, “But she hit him first.”

I fear for this generation. They are growing up in a time and place where social norms are disappearing.

A Duke loss to Miami (FL) might have put the Wahine into the picture, but Duke prevailed in five, winning set 5 15-13. Oh so close. And all Colorado did was beat UCLA to cement an at-large bid. But San Diego did lose to Pepperdine in five. So maybe there is an ultra-slim chance the Wahine might sneak in.

    5. was anyone being irreverant?
    6. think the bigger boost came from UCLA losing to USC Friday, 3-2. Bruins at 13-14 are ineligible for a bid when being below .500.
