Maglio playing for Canada at Pan American Cup; Masui Allen’s services

Former Hawaii All-American volleyball player Emily Maglio has helped Canada advance to Friday’s semifinals of the Pan American Cup in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
Maglio had a combined 29 points in Canada’s sweeps of Peru, Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic to win Group A. On Tuesday, the middle blocker had four kills, two blocks and a dig in the 25-23, 25-14, 25-20 victory over host Dominican Republic.

The family invites guests to celebrate Masui’s life. Sing a song, perform a dance, or just talk story. Masui specifically requested a day of celebration and wanted everyone to have a good time remembering him. An open casket will be present at the beginning and end of the celebration for family and friends to say a final goodbye.
