Too bad no TV. Guess water polo lost out to baseball.

  2. FitTrainer February 23, 2019 10:20 am

Saint Mary’s fielding a strong #1 flight. Maglio playing fellow Canadian Indoor National Team member Sarah Chase from the Gaels and WCC Defensive Player of the Year Lindsey Knudsen at the #1 flight.

  3. FitTrainer February 23, 2019 10:49 am

Saint Mary’s second flight has a second-team All WCC player and the rest of the flights are weaker.

UH’s flights 2,3,4 were pretty dominant. #2 gave up only 10 and 11
Flight #3 gave up only 10 and 12
Flight #4 gave up only 9 and 15.

Too bad with flight #5. Hope Sophia and Paige can get it going for the next match

Wahine looking like the #5 team vs #4 Pepperdine.

Tough loss to Pepperdine!! Rebound tomorrow hopefully against #1 UCLA.
Our #2 and #3 Flights were awesome in both matches. I must say that Julia Scoles can terminate a volleyball like she is playing on an indoor court. She is phenomenal and she will only get better. This is her 1st year ever playing Sand Volleyball.

The two photos are beautiful. In the top one the skies are clear. I wonder how cold was it at the beach? Looks like not too cold as the girls just wore bathing suits, no sweaters and pants. Yet a few days before the hills above Malibu had some snow I heard. Can anyone there tell what the weather was like?

  12. Cindy Luis February 23, 2019 10:34 pm

    11. Wasn’t that cold, nor was it too hot. light trades. guessing high of 81.
Collegiate players don’t wear bathing suits. their uniforms are shorts and tank tops.
You may be thinking of AVP or Olympic players
