First-round match on Spectrum OC16

From UH, they are working on a live stream of Hawaii’s NCAA tournament first-round match against Baylor on Thursday.
TELEVISION: Spectrum OC16 will broadcast the match between UH and Baylor with Kanoa Leahey calling the play-by-play and Chris McLachlin handling the play-by-play.
LIVESTREAM: TBD
RADIO: KKEA 1420-am, UH’s flagship radio station, will be covering the first round of the NCAA Tournament with Tiff Wells providing the play-by-play.

I believe if you are a spectrum subscriber, you can download the Spectrum TV app onto your smartphone (computer?) and watch OC 16 from there.
You have to know your account username/ email and password to login. I believe that OC 16 can be remotely watched that way.
I think the OCsports.tv may work on a computer, but not necessarily on other devices.

Two games against Oregon in September summarized wahines’ strength: undersized wahine got thrashed in first five games by taller (hitters/blockers), and then followed with wins in next two regular games which proves undersize wahine could tame bigger & better (in RPI) teams with smart strategic playing. This week, wahine setters need to execute perfectly a planned strategy: Communicated sets & well tailored setting to each hitter. IMO, if comes to 5th set, I feel, Gong should open the service…Taller Casey’s setting should be ~2 yard away from net to give her a wider angle…to keep Granato’s % kill high, distribute sets even…Hope Granato remains at least 80% thunder attacks even series of errors occurred (rather settling into meek tips that rarely find floor)… Slow starters might be benched for few rotations but please, NOT for the entire game or match although 100% agrees that wahine bench knows how to stop heavy bleeding. Leave bragging rights only to wahine fans, and staff should refrain from making comments in public that aggravate and energize opponents (although never seen this happening) as wahine is heavy underdog at RPI 46. Please, pour overwhelm ALOHA and BLESSINGS to wahine to perform at their best this week!

I was disappointed that PAC12 is not going to broadcast the Wahine match with Baylor, but then neither are PAC12 members. It’s just that I am locked out of OC Sports online due to no cable service in my vicinity. Anything broadcast on PAC12 I can watch as they don’t limit it to just cable viewers. My question is: if the Wahine advance to the second round with Oregon, then will there be two broadcasts, both OC Sports and PAC12, or just PAC12 only? I hope that at least that match I could watch if it happens.

They will not be using teraflex Apparently not a requirement for first two rounds

These two games somewhat similar to a dilemma of a marathon run. Scenaria 1: If you knocked out first 13 miles, race is over. Scenaria 2. If you sprint first 13.1 miles, probably, you are too tired and get cramps in next 13.1 miles. Scenaria 3: Need to complete first 13.1 miles with full resources (starters & bench) (without over tiring starters) meanwhile with out getting knocked out. Then you have a chance to compete in final 13.1 miles. Wish if possible, the bench is pinched in smartly today, to support starters (?)
Regarding not using the teraflex….it’s bogus. I have read somewhere that the host team should NOT have any kind of advantage in these tournament matches.
It’s essentially a NCAA event and University of Oregon is only supplying the arena. I remembered when UH hosted postseason, they had to cover any kind of advertising, UH could not use the scoreboard to incite the crowd, the sign area by the scorekeepers where covered, etc… it was supposed to turn into a neutral site as much as possible.
To let Oregon play on that horrible court is a big slap in the face to those who never played there before.
I think in the future, if teams want to host postseason, they need to have a teraflex or a Sportscourt to ensure neutrality.
A court with a team logo is fine. A court with all that different drawing/marking should not be allowed.
Sorry to hear about the lack of Teraflex…but, time to soldier on! Hang loose, Wahine!!! You can do it!!!!!

What can I say. there is no NCAA mandate to use teraflex in the 1st-2nd round.
Only for regional and final four.
