Winning by a Mile

The offensive line won the Warriors Lip Sync Battle by a mile — actually, make that “8 Mile.”

Recreating the movie’s freestyle battle between B-Rabbit (played by offensive lineman Luke Clements) and Papa Doc (right guard Dejon Allen), the o-line was declared last night’s winner. Kudos to right tackle R.J. Hollis’ portrayal as the scene’s announcer.

It was noted yesterday that the Warriors will play games in five time zones this season:

> Eastern: Ohio State

> Central: Wisconsin

> Mountain: Boise, New Mexico

> Pacific: UNLV, Nevada

And, of course, UH plays in Hawaii’s time zone.

I think the time zone story is something that deserves its own story. Something that can go viral.

Even in the cannon’s mouth. And then the justice,
In fair round belly with good capon lined,
With eyes severe and beard of formal cut,
    Full of wise saws and modern instances;

Hopefully all these “off field” activities will help
the bonding and chemistry of the team which will
show up on Saturday nights @ Aloha Stadium …..

Don’t know about you fellow Warrior Fans but this
one is expecting at least 6 wins this season and an
Aloha Bowl invite. I’m expecting to start the ’15
campaign 1-0 with a win over Colorado

    GO ‘BOWS !!!!!

To paraphrase Milton … better to reign in Division II …

13 or so more practices of which 5 will be game week prep. By Saturday pretty much the shuffling will be over as they enter the final phase. Still could be some changes and meshing of situational personell. This will be a much improved team effort. How many wins? Who knows-but look to get at least 3 to 4 offensive scores minimally every time out. That will keep you in every game till the end. Go Warriors!
