Howzit ST!
Toid! Good morning Gangeez! 😉
Welcome to the newbies and not-so-newbies!
Go Warriors!
Great Afternoon All!
Welcome aboard new Warriors.
Any practice news?
Stephen,
Glad to see you back on the blog. Thanks for all the coverage.
What happened to Eric Prater? Great to see Don ‘Yeh Patterson, I thought he left… But then again, not sure if he can beat out the other WRs on the team. Did Nick Nelson graduated? I heard we are short as far as safeties are concerned. We need to keep an eye open for any walk-on at big conference’s BCS schools who may not make their rosters… may be we can find one or two speedy safeties. I think we do need speedy ones because we kept getting beat by speedy wr last few years – need good corners and safeties. Of course, if we can improve pass rush and improves on hurries and sacks, it will help out too.
Guud Afternoon Tsaikos…Bootiful Day!
Wat up Tanman…good to see the community returning.
tink Nelson transferred or wanted to.
Priorities?….OL needs big improvement…QB’s….DL, DB…hoo everything!…LOL
but then true for every team.
IMUA WARRIORS!
Prater transferred to Montana in 2015, this year he is one of 7 QB’s there.

Nick wanted to be closer to the east coast, per ST. Warriors very thin in the DB ranks per Stephen on Curran show today.
Hughes a QB o RB?

Great name…Infraction Bowl…lol
#10 NSF~ Must be anoddah guy wit dat name. Said he was a freshman in 2015, although wouldn’t mind if he came here.
Brown is a 26 year old QB from Waianae HS??? Has he played ball at all since? Interesting addition. I know that Rolo said he just needed to add some arms, but it sounds like it could be an interesting story.
Papa, searched the 2015 roster and didn’t see his name.
kev-1 yup…been playing ball? where at?…but then a Waianae athlete is always “good to go”. I’m sure Rolo has a role for them.
Team break down:
DB: 14
OL: 14 1RS
DL: 13
LB: 12
WR: 13
QB: 5 (counting todays additions)
TE: 6
RB: 6
LS: 1
PK/P: 1
P: 1
If math ok, 84 on roster.
Nice info. Go Bows. Go Warriors.
Go Tsai. Go Tsaikos.
Have a nice day 🙂
Hughes is a quarterback.
He was on the 2014 spring roster.
How come only one LS = Left safety ? where the right one ?
#14 NSF~ On his highlight reel at his high school said freshman in 2015. That’s the running back we could use.
I didn’t hear it myself, but someone posted on another site that ST mentioned on a recent radio interview that Kemp and/or Bernard is expected redshirt this season.
Big HUH?!?!?
Did anyone hear that? If I am not mistaken, despite an overall underachieving receiving core last year, wasn’t Kemp among the better? I would imagine he expects his role to increase, not to be asked to RS. And wasn’t it Bernard who emerged at the end of the season as one of the WRs who could actually catch the ball?
If anyone has any insight on this one, please share.
#20,
Heard ST mention on today’s BC’s morning sports talk radio program that Kemp and/or Bernard might be considered for a redshirt season to give them more time to earn academic credits to ensure that they graduate……and that Ammon Barker looks like he’s worked himself into the WR rotation.
ST also mentioned that John Ursua probably ahead of Dylan Collie at SB.
Maybe I missed it, but don’t recall hearing ST mention of how Makoa Camanse-Stevens projects.
Stephen would be best to address kev-1’s concerns, but if he’s resting as he should be let me take a crack at what I thought he said. I didn’t hear it as kapakahi did. I think Stephen said Kemp and/or Bernard were being considered as redshirts to spread out the classes so they’ll have a fairly equal amount of receivers in each class. He didn’t say it was a done deal, and it surprised me, too, but I can see the reasoning behind the redshirt possibility.
The Kemp/Bernard issue was discussed in the way that Clyde explained. Stephen mentioned on the BC show that the team is senior-heavy at WR. Both of those WRs have a redshirt year available. Redshirting one of them helps the continuity and program growth by having senior leadership at the position this year and next year.
kapakahi, clyde, and locomoco …
Thank you for clarifying. Hearing the rationale helps it make sense. It has gotta be hard for someone like Kemp, who has seen significant playing over a couple of seasons to have to redshirt this late in the game. I guess we’ll see.
I almost forgot about Ursua. I am excited about him. I have also been waiting for Barker to break out. Hopefully this is his year.
My 1st Offense
O-LINE.. 6-4 RJ Hollis, 6-3 Dejon Allen, 6-4 John Wa’a, 6-4 Asotui Eli, 6-5 Leo Koloamatangi
WR…6-4 Marcus Kemp, 6-4 Ammon Barker, 6-4 Makoa Camanse-Stevens, 5-10 John Ursua
RB…5-11 Paul Harris
QB… 6-3 Aaron Zwahlen
My 2nd Offense–will add the TE
O-LINE..6-5 J.R. Hensley, 6-2 Eperone Moananu, 6-2 Fred Ulu-Perry, 6-5 Matt Norman, 6-8 Austin Webb
WR..6-1 Isaiah Bernard, 5-11 Keelan Ewaliko, 6-0 Devan Stubblefield, 6-2 Dakota Torres
RB..5-10 Steven Lakalaka
QB..6-6 Beau Reilly
My 1st D
DL..6-3 Makani Kema-Kaleiwahea, 6-3 Zeno Choi, 6-1 Kennedy Tulimasealii, 6-3 David Manoa
LB…6-2 Jerrol Garcia Williams, 6-4 Jahlani Tavai, 6-1 Russell Williams
DB..5-11 Dejaun Butler, 5-11 Jamal Mayo, 6-1 Jalen Rogers, 6-3 Danny Mulanga
#26, I believe your #2 O, is in error. Fred Ulu-Perry has to sit out a year due to transfer rules. If he was available this upcoming season, his talent should make him a starter.
Great Morning All!
Nice read about Rashaan Falemalu. A prideful name…a Prideful Program. Good on Coach Rolo.
GO Warriors!
doesnt look like Falemalu in the pic of the article
#27
Kaau Gifford & Kory Rasmussen are way ahead of Zeno Choi at the other DT spot opposite of Kennedy.
Mulanga moved to LB.
i expect Daniel Lewis & Trayvon Henderson to compete for the starting safety spots. Henderson, once hes healthy.
Good to have you back Stephen….
#27 and #31….Penitito as well.
No.28 who do you got now as back up center to Wa’a
No.31 way ahead of Zeno- I disagree
