NCAA grants Letuli a sixth UH year

The NCAA has granted Laupepa Letuli a medical exemption that will allow him to play as a sixth-year senior in 2010.

“I’m very happy to be coming back,” Letuli told the Warrior Beat. “I’m happy for my family, too.”

Letuli is listed as the Warriors’ No. 1 right tackle.

To host a playoff match, the Warriors needed to win this past Saturday’s road match against UC Santa Barbara. Thing was, it was a hostile environment in cramped Robertson Gym.

The Gaucho fans are some of the smartest hecklers. They did extensive research, including finding out some of the names of the Warriors’ former girlfriends. Much of the research, apparently, came from sifting through Facebook pages. They also gave each Warrior a nickname.

“They were yelling at me: You know you look like The Predator,” recalled Walker, who has long braided hair.

And that’s when backup setter Sam Morehouse became a hero. Morehouse started to to heckle the fans. When a group of buddies went to get refreshments, Morehouse pointed at the remaining guy and yelled: Hey, loner!

When fans started screaming insults, Morehouse cupped his ear, and mouthed: What? Speak up. I can’t hear you.

After a while, the Gaucho fans targeted only Morehouse, leaving alone the rest of the Warriors.

“Sam was the man,” Walker said.

The Warriors won in three sets.

Mike Smith, the former Baltimore Raven linebacker who was a GA with the Warriors last year, has landed a job with the J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets, Jets.

Yesterday, Smith called Brashton Satele, who has returned to Arizona to train. The Jets are interested in giving Satele a tryout.

Remember linebacker Akoni Laconia? He was Aaron Brown’s former JC teammate. Anyway, Lasconia has moved to Hawai‘i, where he is completing work on his associate degree. He will join the Warriors as a walk-on in July.

Shanahan said he recently that he wants the “total package” in a quarterback and tried to explain what he specifically looks for:

“There’s so many different things. You just don’t know for sure how a guy’s going to play in a game or how important the game is to him,” he said. “You can take a look at a lot of quarterbacks – arm strength, intelligence – but on gameday, can they make plays? Are they enjoying the game? Would they play without getting paid? Some of the things that you look for in a John Elway, Joe Montana, Steve Young, different guys that I’ve coached. Or when you watch a guy like Peyton Manning and how he prepares.

“You’re always looking for those intangibles. I think everybody can see if a guy can make all the throws. And if a guy can make all the throws, if a guy is a smart guy, people project him in the first round. Why are there so many busts in the first round? Can they play the game? Can they focus on the job at hand? Can they not focus? I don’t think you ever know that for sure until you’ve got the guy in your locker room.”

By Rick Maese | April 20, 2010; 9:00 AM ET

    Come on Shanahan…choose #15 Colt!

  8. Pomai April 20, 2010 7:00 am

Yeah know a lot of people have their opinions and make judgements on stuff like this (David Pa‘aluhi and Mo’s situation) but if you have not walked in their shoes, who are you to make any judgements. I’ve heard people say “Hey I pay for their education through my taxes an crap like that, but sorry it’s really simple their private business is just that their business, so if they chose to keep it private then end of story.

  9. postmanke April 20, 2010 7:02 am

Mike Riley – class act! know’s and understands the situation and made it happen. Not too many Div 1 coaches would do that. Namely.. ahh never mind

Dave Aranda + Pa’aluhi as the “blow up the play” kind of attack. just ink him already as a 2011 pre-season All WAC. I predict another defensive player up front is going to get some nice stats with Pa’aluhi in the lineup. Put that player All WAC too..

In every WAC game not matter what!

  10. postmanke April 20, 2010 7:03 am

    Win every WAC game..

  13. Bigislandkurt April 20, 2010 7:39 am

What a crazy spring it has been. The latest episode is this whole Pa’aluhi episode. Although they are quite busy with Spring Ball right now, Mack and his staff would be insane not to get this boy in school and on the team. This one is as big as signing Tuipolotu from Arizona….only in the linebacker ranks. I sure hope our coaches are working overtime to get him in Warrior green and black.

Great story, ST. When Sam’s playing days are over, he should come join the Tsaiko “conversationalists”. 😆

    Good luck to Brashton.

    #9 Postmanke,

2011 is going to be an awesome season, mark my words. With a new ‘attack’ mentality for the D, this season will be one of transition for the paradigm shift to sink in. Next season…..one can only imagine……put the 11 meanest, smartest, tacklers on the D side of the ball….and we’ll win more than we lose.

Play your best and forget the rest 🙂

With that said what’s the real story for Mo? Nah nah just joking. I just wish that all of our student athlete’s complete their college education with a degree an return to our society as upstanding individuals who make this little world a better place.

Feel bad for the OSU Coach but at least he was professional about the situation and took care of his player. I mean kind of a kick in the nuts to the Coach but Pa’aluhi gotta do what he gotta and take care his ohana, that’s most important. Anyway, still hoping he will join the Warrior Nation and continue his success like he has had at OSU on the field…

  23. haka April 20, 2010 8:28 am

    Ric & Joshua,
How do you plan on controlling your emotions and staying focused during the match with Pepperdine when you know that you are playing for all the coconuts in front what will undoubtedly be a packed house?

    NO SKED!
    GO GET’EM!
    YOU ARE WARRIOR!

  24. Pauoa Boy April 20, 2010 8:36 am

    al and Ralph,

To me we don’t have a legit power guy down low. Kurtz-too slow and doesn’t seem like a legit banger, Amis-too weak more finesse than power, Xi-are you kidding me, plus he may not be on the team???, Milovic-too small to be a power guy more of a SF type. Joaquim-has the size but yet to be seen if he’s a banger or finesse type, Thomas-seems like the all-around package but will probably be a solid SF for us, Wiseman-depends how he develops but I see him as a solid SF ala Scottie Pippen or if he develops a better outside game a big SG.

I dunno I think a solid big body type that can defend and rebound is what we need. We got guards that can score in Dwain Williams, Jeremy Lay, Zane Johnson, Hiram Thompson, and Coleman. If we can land that Barnes kid or even Shamburger we are set on guards. I still think we need a true PG as well though. IMO

  25. J-FORCE April 20, 2010 8:41 am

I’ve watched them WARRIORS practice a couple weeks ago and coach Tony T. really caught my attention working with the D- Line. I just happen to watch the ’99 Oahu bowl and Tony was not the biggest guys on the D-line but he was making all kind of plays out there for the defense. Good Luck Coach T. and the rest of the Warriors. Go Warriors!

    Aloha

Wow, thanks for the Akoni update. Been wondering about this guy.

I hope Pa’aluhi makes it to UH.

Imagine the D in 2011 with Tuipulotu and Meatoga at the DT spots as Seniors, Pa’aluhi and Aaron Brown as 2 of the LB’s, and Akoni in the secondary if he’s as beastly as advertised.

Playmakers all around. We goin need DB’s and WR’s though after this season.

  27. J-Dog April 20, 2010 8:48 am

    Good morning everyone!

Another incredible day in our Hawaii paradise! Can’t help but enjoy the glow from the practice T-gate capped by the awesome show by the Wahine. I think the newcomers are the best indicators of the wonderful times when they are raring to return to the next event. Like in “Cheers”, the comfortable energy is great for the veteran Tsaikos, but the real story is in how the 1st timers are truly welcomed. There may be other places just as good, but I won’t believe there’re BETTER places to enjoy sports talk and friends than a Tsaiko event.

Oh yes, must thank the ladies for showing up and contributing while keeping the guys “balanced”.

ST regarding future guests on the show

    How about a physician?

I think by having one it would give the UH compliance people and Coach Mack a respite.

I think a few bloggers, here, pin every blame on the compliance people and speech impediment on the coach, on which things may be out of their control, of which a physician could answer a few questions. And more than likely give the best rebuttal to a few of these bloggers.

Simple question to the physician does a patient’s exams, visits, tests, prognosis, diagnosis, prescriptions, blood test and physical therapies are they documented into medical records. Filed. And kept indefinitely?

Another pertinent question would be in explaining the symptoms of Tardive Dyskinesia and how persons inflicted with this have a hard time coping with names remembering things.

By having a physician it would allow some of the bloggers to see things logically instead of them stewing over things and pointing fingers at ones unjustly..

    Aloha Ric,

You have been my personal favorite player to watch over the past three seasons. With respect to your teammates past and present, I have never seen anyone with as much grit and hustle as you.

Just wanna say thanks for all you have given to the program and to the fans and I look forward to this Saturday night!!!

  41. Kazz April 20, 2010 10:12 am

    Josh and Ric,

The crowd in the Stan Sheriff Center has been rejuvenated this season all due to the maximum effort and improvement shown on the court this year. SOME do not like this as some very vocal fans have been looked down upon by those that prefer volleyball to have a funeral parlor-type atmosphere.

I would like to get the student athlete’s opinion as to how you perceive what a REAL college volleyball crowd should be like.

BTW, we all can’t be like Rubberband Man. Some of us don’t move like that without disgusting people. LOL!!!

Re softball game donations: A request was sent in to do this over a month ago – well before the WAC road trip – plus additional oral requests were made by phone and in person.

Initially, the information passed back was that it “couldn’t be done”; however, after last week’s staff meeting, the decision was to set it up for the last home series.

With respect to charging admission starting next season, according to one of the associate ADs present at last Friday’s game, it seems that Coach Coolen is opposed to doing so; however, Coach is willing to accept donations collected during the games.

As reported in several previous posts over the past three-plus months, there are about 50 athletic department donor funds set up – including the softball team. If any Tsai-kos want to donate directly to the program, then contact Koa Anuenue directly. Donations can be one-time-only or on a pledge basis with deductions or charges to debit or credit cards.

You will receive a 100% tax deduction; however, 3.5 cents for each dollar donated will be used to cover administrative expenses. Thus, if you donate $20 a month, 70 cents will be deducted and $19.30 will be used to cover new bats, travel expenses, etc.

    BleedGreen808,

I had all kinds of “out there” ideas if Majam looked like she was going to break the UH HR record at home. One idea was to get a decently sized plate glass sheet painted black with a white “21” on it and then I wanted to break the glass as she pelted #22 over the fences. Very symbolic of “shattering” a record, or at least “breaking” it.

Then logic kicked in and I realized having broken glass all over the place and around the stadium with other people in the area was NOT a good idea.

If this was like Coltmania in 2007 there some shirt options. Like the front would be “H00ME RUN” with the “O” replaced by her number #00 all in tapa UH font. Just an idea… Or even “B00M BABY!!!” with the “o’s” again being replaced with her #00.

Bulla — ST posted this the other night. This is might explain d1島’s #66 above. 😆 As you know, a larger KK is a CC too.

Next week is supposed to be the last Sunday for The Advertiser under Gannett. I’m thinking … karaoke night? (Or day?)
We can combine with Esme’s group, too.
    Thoughts?

Looks like he is looking at SUNDAY afternoon or evening. He needs to know how many attending, if there is one. This will determine where and when.

Aside from d1島, Rob25, HiFlyer, Pomai, and I, who else is interested?

I wonder if Buti Groove still makes those “BOWS BFOR HOS” shirts?

I dunno what happened to the one I had. It got a lot of laughs. 😆

It also had a lot of kids asking me where I got it followed by their parents promptly telling their kids “never mind about that shirt”. 😆 😆

If there is going to be a pre- or post-game potluck for the fans – which night? Friday or Saturday? Please let those of us who regularly attend the games know if it is open to everyone or if it’s a bio. Friday night might not work because of the other sports activities. Saturday is a double-header as well in The Les.

After an 11-6 loss to Sacramento State, Trapasso described the umpire as “horrible,” “arrogant” and “an embarrassment to that profession.”

    A-house,

Unfortunately, with no home-and-home on the schedule, that’ll have to wait ’til next season.

  128. Kazz April 20, 2010 1:24 pm

  136. Curt April 20, 2010 1:44 pm

Too bad about Shamburger. We really need another point guard to compete with Hiram. C’mon Coach Gib; do your magic.

They might say hi, and I might say hey.

    Lets go Warriors!

  139. Pauoa Boy April 20, 2010 1:48 pm

Jets defense going be mean…They already have the best corner in Darelle Revis, picked up Cromartie from San Diego, San Jose State guy Dwight Lowery is good. Shaun Ellis is a beast although he’s getting old which I think the Jets will address in the draft. Sione Pouha is a killah in the middle. Then they got some huge LB’s in Pace, Scott, Thomas, and overrated Gholston. Garrans they be in the playoffs again so long as Sanchez can improve and take another step forward!

  140. LizKauai (iPhone PDX) April 20, 2010 1:49 pm

Jason Taylor was not a good fit with the Skins. Plus he had plantar fasciitis that year.
Hope he shines for the Jets this year!

My new grandson reminds me of Ukuleleboi at that age. He’s long- bodied with broad shoulders. I’m thinking good lineman material.

  141. jm2375 April 20, 2010 1:52 pm

ST – speaking of the J-E-T-S, they are the team featured this year on that HBO training camp series. I think the Cowgirls were on last year.

  142. Pauoa Boy April 20, 2010 1:53 pm

What we need is a point guard who can create for others and himself. Hiram isn’t the answer for that. He’s a solid role player at best. We need a true pass first type who can penetrate the defense and create scoring opportunities for everyone on the floor as well as hit consistently from outside. Something lacking the past couple years for sure. Where’s the Trevor Ruffin, Tes Whitlock, A.C. Carter types at???

  143. d1島 April 20, 2010 1:59 pm

    Good show!

  146. Justin April 20, 2010 2:09 pm

  148. Kazz April 20, 2010 2:12 pm

    Pauoa Boy,

Yup. Dats da “Mary” right dere!!!

  149. Ralph April 20, 2010 2:14 pm

isn’t Barnes a point guard, he hasn’t declared but he plays one of the guard positions. We definitely need a ball handler to run the offense and break the press.

Thomas at 6’7 225 should be able to hold the SF position and play some at #4 if the opponent’s 4 and 5 aren’t big, athletic wide bodies. We need rebounders and players to play physical defense. Coleman at 174 needs to play on top, add some good muscle weight than he can play at the #3 slot.

Wise at 210 needs an outside shot to open space, too light to play 30+ minutes in the paint at a #3 or #4 and play good defense and rebound.

  150. Kekoa April 20, 2010 2:14 pm

BigIslandKurt ~ Have there been any BigHiloFan sightings lately? It’s not like him to wander away from his brood.

  151. Pauoa Boy April 20, 2010 2:16 pm

    Kendall,

Deonte got some serious rise for being only 6’1″… I dunno if Coach Gib knows about him, but he’s from the L.A. area so maybe. That would be pretty scary if he ended up at Nevada…there squad is decent.

I never forget Harris, just didn’t feel like naming the whole defense although I almost did lol.

  152. Kekoa April 20, 2010 2:17 pm

They might say hi, and I might say hey.

If not, they might suffer the wrath of Stretch & A-Joe!

    Go Warriors!…Pepper Spray Pepperdine!

  153. Pauoa Boy April 20, 2010 2:22 pm

    Ralph,

Barnes is more of a shooting guard…I think he’s 6’4″ 190-200lbs. In high school they say he’s more of a spot up shooter with a nice shot. Likes to come off screens to stop and pop. Not sure handling point guard duties is his thing…more of a shooter that we would need to spot up and drain.

  154. Pauoa Boy April 20, 2010 2:26 pm

If we can land Godwin Okonji, I think he can be the inside presence we would need at the PF spot!

  155. Ralph April 20, 2010 2:30 pm

PB i hope the hype on the incoming shooting guards are true, i haven’t forgotten Sasha, Dwain and Lay shooting in the 20% range from the 3s and their outside shot within the arc was inconsistent from game to game.

  156. Pomai April 20, 2010 2:35 pm

They might say hi, and I might say hey

  157. Pauoa Boy April 20, 2010 2:41 pm

    Ralph,

I think Zane Johnson can be the guy we need to pop from outside. Williams isn’t bad when he was actually playing. Once Thomas gets here, I think he’s going to be an impact guy right away. Regardless, I still like the big banger types down low and to me it seems the kid Okonji has been well coached and would be a big get for us! He’s very coachable and could be an instant star at the college level!

  158. postmanke April 20, 2010 2:48 pm

155 – Manoa would seem like a perfect fit for Godwin. unique individual. little worried about UNM making a push for him.

  159. postmanke April 20, 2010 2:51 pm

the Ron Artest type player we need

  160. postmanke April 20, 2010 2:57 pm

Regardless of where he chooses to play, anytime you get a legitimate top 25 player at his position and one of his final choices is your school, the program is headed in the right direction.

    just keep on truckin!

we losing basketball recruits to San Jose State and LMU, well that how far our basketball program has fallen, we losing athletes to struggling non BCS basketball programs. The abyss we have to rise from is rather deep, so deep I can’t see a whole lot of fans going to the Stanley until we win and play exciting basketball. I hope Gib plays uptempo and man defense, got to get excited, we can’t have fans sitting quietly, contented eating their bumbucha nachos, then rush out of the SSC before the game is over because we losing.

Shamburger to SJSU and Okoni to LMU. OK, which BB prospect is next in line? me thinks Coach Gib may have a big surprise for us soon.

  193. kama krab April 20, 2010 6:46 pm

I’m going to put my to since on this one,

Us losing these two recruits has nothing to do with the state of our program. I think right now our program is on more of an upswing and people have a lot to look forward to this up coming season.

One of the recruits didn’t sign because he wanted to stay close to his family and the other well he came in for a visit during the old regime, so I guess you can chalk that one up to the state of our program.

But like I said, things already feel different around the Stanley and I think the basketball program will surprise many next year as Coach Wade has surprised during the volleyball season. You can just feel the energy.

  194. kama krab April 20, 2010 6:48 pm

  196. kama krab April 20, 2010 6:54 pm

    I will say this though,

Things may finally be looking up in Manoa. The only thing that I am worried about is our baseball program. Coach Trap has brought the people back to the Les but has under achieved with the talent he has on the team. I feel that Trap has got to get things straightened out or else it might be the end of his reign in Manoa. I hope I’m wrong but he needs to win because we have the talent.

  197. kama krab April 20, 2010 6:56 pm

But we will see what happens this weekend. It may be a make or break series with La Tech. Hopefully we come out on top.

They might say hi, and I might say hey.

  198. el guapo April 20, 2010 7:10 pm

Trap should have used this to describe Benson

After an 11-6 loss to Sacramento State, Trapasso described the umpire as “horrible,” “arrogant” and “an embarrassment to that profession.”

I think if Coach Gib went after Okonji, we could sign him just have a feeling. Anyway, if not I’m sure Coach Gib is doing an ardent search for the right guys to play for us…seems like he’s working hard turning over all the rocks he can and finding some gems. Hopefully his coaching will actually have these players turn into diamonds when all is said and done. kama krab I agree with you that all UH athletic programs even the baseball team is on the upswing. Lots to be proud about and there seems to be a certain aura on campus these days. In due time I guarantee we will not only be the powerhouse in the Pacific, but Top 25 will be the norm rather than a miracle happening…for all our athletic teams!

  202. Pauoa Boy April 20, 2010 7:41 pm

Oh nay, Travis Laboy is with the 49ers…oohwee talk about some killers on that defense. Too bad he got let go by the Cardinals and got injured all last year but I’m glad he can wreak havoc with Isaac Sopoaga now! They going play him at LB…whew das going be nawts playing alongside probably the best linebacker in the NFL Patrick Willis. Ray Lewis still #1 but not for long, I think Patrick “Bam Bam” Willis is ready to take over!

    Kendall,

Supposedly Charles Odum played a lot of forward in high school. He supposedly has mad hops and could get up with the big boys in the paint. Thats good having a point guard thats not afraid to mix it up down low, especially driving to the basket. Tells me he can finish. Word is that he had to develop his perimeter game a little but it’s obvious he’s done so if he was chosen to be a McD’s All American. I’m sure being at a top JC like CSI, his game has definitely developed. Hopefully with Coach Gibs ties to the program we can get him too! Hope his academics are in order though which I think is the reason he went JC route.

I don’t think we a losing basketball recruits to anyone. Some here are assuming those recruits were ours to lose, when in fact Gib is starting late and trying to bring in recruits who have already been in contact with other programs for a while. This is the age of youtube, finding good players that no one knows about is wishful thinking.

    Kazz:

You have three plus more years to come up with something original and well deserving.

  209. postmanke April 20, 2010 8:38 pm

203 – I agree. I was hoping we land him. I live in Henderson and seen this kid last year. he’s bulked up since then. Easy 30lbs more in college. Great pick up for LMU if in fact they did sign him.

  210. PONO April 20, 2010 8:56 pm

LMU is a rising mid major that had a good year and have all five starters returning. I don’t think its an insult to lose a recruit to LMU. They have a great campus in LA that’s close to the airport so you can fly to see family. Hope Gib keeps up the recruiting.

The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it’ll do even better in those areas, but for now it’s a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod’s strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.

    well put old diver.

it was not gibberf who lost okonji. he visited in october, hang this one on the nash era.

shamburger really wanted to play here. but, mom says no way jose stay in cali, do you know the way to san jose? end of story. oh btw, an eyewitness claims he looked no larger than 5’9″ and no more than 14 years old.

barnes may be tripping now that there has been late blooming interest in him. the guy can flat out shoot the ball 55% from 3pt land and 60% from within. ????

but don’t fret… the gibber has a wanted list that goes deep. my guess is that a jc guy will step in soon, either a pg or a sg to go along with that post player who is about to commit.

  222. al April 20, 2010 11:26 pm

  223. al April 20, 2010 11:32 pm

kendall…..odum started most of the games for csi. i believe he was the third leading scorer there, had a bunch of assists, etc. was not a qualifier out of hs but had some guys drooling over him.

often times a prospect gets lost in the shuffle when they go to a jc. csi is one of the top jc programs pernnially.

you know that gibber went to csi to go get thomas and probably looked at all of them.

    I’m watching CNN and their discussing ARIZONA’S new immigration laws;
tell you what….it’ll have a big impact on people who don’t look white.

Talk about racial profiling, which authorities will deny…but the bottom line is how people will percieve anybody who looks different.

Why I say this is because local people from Hawaii, and in particular, recruits from Hawaii for athletic reasons should be wary of how they will be treated by law enforcement and the general population.

    and with that said….GO WARRIORS!!!

  234. Garret April 21, 2010 5:42 am

What was it that Laupepa did that Braston didn’t? Just the paper work?

    Pomai,

Laupepa had medical documentation from the years that he was injured, Brashton did not. Since that is the requirement for the 6th year, you can see why Laupepa got his 6th year and Brashton did not.

Now we know that UH expects its athletes to take care of providing the medical documentation instead of making sure everything is kept in a file just in case it is needed like other schools do. That is why Laupepa thanked his Mom instead of the compliance department. Unfortunately, ST has mentioned many times that athletes often think that they do not need to document their injuries so they do not collect the records for injuries early in their career. Then when they have an injury to miss a second season, it is too late to go back to document the first injury…

  235. NYUH April 21, 2010 5:57 am

Good to hear Letuli is coming back.

Not sure why the reputation of the UH OL has declined over the last few years (besides the obvious stats). Is it because JJ had a strong interest in the line? As a QB of course he would have a strong incentive in making sure they were good and knew what they were doing.

  236. NYUH April 21, 2010 6:00 am

UH trainers should keep a copy of the injury records for each student. Or is that a privacy issue?

  237. LizKauai (iPhone PDX) April 21, 2010 6:01 am

Mctruck- I can’t see the CNN report but I can tell you that the way I saw people treated- and the way I was treated in AZ played a big part in my decision to move to Hawaii to raise my “half breed” children as normal human beings.

NYUH — the perceived decline in offensive line play can be attributed to several things, but I believe it mainly fell upon having so many different oline coaches. Players never got used to any consistent pattern of coaching since Cav left. I believe it is already getting better with what shaw has done…..especially in our recruiting of olinemen.

Part (and I do emphasize “part”) of the reason for what looked like good line play in the past was that Colt and the system had that ball moving down the field all game long. HOWEVER, even in our great Sugar bowl year and the years of colt, we never had a great line. We had some good players on the line, but I would never say that our line was great. IMHO, our oline has been a work in progress for nearly 10 years already.

This means that if you incur medical costs while your application is being processed, the Medicaid program will pay for these costs. All you will need to do is to submit any medical bills that you receive to the Human Resources Administration. It is also very helpful for you to inform your health care providers that you have already applied for Medicaid coverage.

What is the difference between type 1 & type 2 diabetes? Type 1 diabetes is usually diagnosed in children and young adults, and was previously known as juvenile diabetes. In type 1 diabetes, the body does not produce insulin. Insulin is a hormone that is needed to convert sugar, starches and other food into energy needed for daily life. Only 5-10% of people with diabetes have this form of the disease. With the help of insulin therapy and other treatments, even young children with type 1 diabetes can learn to manage their condition and live long, healthy, happy lives.

I have been diagnosed with fatty infriltration of the liver. My question is,” should there be pain with this condition?” It is just a mild ache under my right ribsRib cage pain and goes around to my back. It happens within minutes after I eat. I do not consume alcolol at all, I am about 20 lbs. over weight and have lost about 6 lbs in the past 6 weeks. I am on a low fat diet. My doctor recommended “Weight Watcher” , but at this time I cannot afford it.

My boyfriend and I started taking these. He said he noticed a difference in weight after about a week. I have less fat to lose and I am now seeing a difference at about 3 weeks in. I am very happy with the product. I wouldn’t say I am less hungry than before, but for some reason the fat is leaving my stomach, and my energy lasts through my long days.

Alcohol is the drug of choice for most people, and it is a drug. Often called the “grease” of fellowship, an educated individual is more inclined to land in places where it is dished out. An educated person is also more aware of the pressures to succeed in our civilization, and the resulting hope to decompress from that pressure. Most individuals have no trouble with this drug, but the problem people leave a horrific trail of wreckage.

I’ll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)

  311. Aracelis Wasowski May 16, 2010 12:43 pm

Wow – now that’s perspective! I think we often react in agreement or disagreement because of our emotions, but hearing another side, passionately presented, really makes us think!

Definitely accept that which you stated. Your explanation was certainly easy and simple to recognise. I explain to you, I usually get irked when folks discuss problems that they plainly are not aware of about. You managed to hit the nail at the top and explained out everything without complication. Maybe, people will take a signal. Will more than likely return to obtain more. Thanks.

Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.
