Tuesday in Manoa
It rained. It was early. It didn’t matter.
After an intensive weight-lifting session, the Warriors ran 14 120-yard sprints.
Nobody complained. Nobody barfed.
Training camp opens in 45 days.

The team rule is a player’s hair must fit inside his helmet. Long hair may be braided. There are no restrictions on hue.

I was trying to come up with a Collie dog caption. Oh, well.

Everybody is raving about this multi-threat player.

It appears this wideout has fully recovered from his knee injuries.

Football is in the air…getting anxious…smell of Q in the air…smell of bread pudding, pan laulau…and some ono kine grinz…
1st?
ST,
Thanks for the pictures.
Wow, great photos. Players look ready. They must be in great shape to run 14, 120-yd sprints in this heat. Go Warriors !!!
Nobody barfed – dats good.
These are some fine and fit Warriors – ready for battle and lookin’ like rock stars.
Keelan Ewaliko need a Hollywood agent. Doesn’t he look like a Marvel Super hero or something?
GO WARRIORS!!!
Can’t wait to see the offense in action this year. Seems like we’re loaded at the receiver positions, as well as, veteran players.
Hope the coaches are studying Dri Archer film and use Harris accordingly
Nice photos, ST!
Always heartening to see the dedication of the athletes!
Nice pics
Archer ran a 4.26 at the combine!! That’s moving.
I guess the East Coast-West Coast rivalry ended if Diddy’s son attends UCLA.
I feel bad for Combs’ son after his dad got into it with the UCLA coach. That can be an awkward situation for the son to be in.
Speaking of sons of celebrities, didn’t Antonio Fargas’ (Huggy Bear from “Baretta” fame) son, Justin play at USC? Later, he played in the NFL, I think.
hoooo…..hot down here…cooking da alas in da shade…
tink I go Matsumoto’s so some ice….
Archer..http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2406865-will-dri-archer-prove-to-be-a-wasted-draft-pick-for-the-pittsburgh-steelers
hummmm
Nice to have you back Mr. Tsai. As always, thanks for the pics of the boys!
Record heat yesterday again, NSF. Have a shave ice for me!
Who do you think will be the impact players of our team? Here are my choices to name a few:
Harris & Ewaliko as returners
Collie, Kemp & Stubblefield as WR’s
St. Juste as RB
Hagger as TE
of course–QB Wittek or Woolsey or Zwhalen(x-factor?)
Can someone add the Defensive players and OL?
got season tickets through a different source this years. Got a call today from ticket office to confirm I was not going to renew my former seats.
Season sneaking up on us. Get Excited People! Go Bows!
Great Afternoon All!
Hoos gonna win today’s CWS game?
Whoa.
It was really warm today.
I think they should redo the seasons.
Summer — June-September
Autumn — October-November
Winter — December-March
Spring — April-May
By the way, folks, check out the Farmer’s Market every Monday (4 p.m.-8 p.m.) at Olomana Links.
There are food trucks, alcohol, and a 1970s cover band.
Did I mention alcohol?
Also, there’s an amazing crab chowder (with Kahuku corn).
June – March….Football
April – May….Spring football
Like the past 4 years; I am doing group tickets for Hawaii fans for Ohio St. and all road games—if anyone wants to sit with other Hawaii fans; email me at: tomkitaguchi@yahoo.com. For Ohio St., I need to know by July 8.
Last year, I had a group of almost 350 Hawaii fans at SDSU & SJSU; and almost 300 at UNLV 2 years ago.
Mahalo tom!
Study hard.
Play hard.
Eat hard.
Sleep hard.
….did you say alcohol ST?? Hmmmm.
Okay Tom, I’ll take a crack at my nominations. Defense – Penitito Faalologo, Kennedy Tulimasealii. Luke Shawley on the D-Line. The entire line backing group and the entire secondary. They are good two-deep. But we’ll see how they perform against Ohio State’s J. T. Barrett and Ezekiel Elliott. Slowing Ezekiel is a huge task. I realize some people are predicting a 70-0 score. Maybe. Ohio State’s defense is awesome.
NSF, you gotta try the shave ice out by Fumi’s shrimp truck. Little pricier; about $3 for plain and $1 more for premium ice cream. Little longer drive for you but enjoy the scenery and no long lines like Matsumoto’s. I think it taste better although nice to help the Matsumoto’s business. He’s probably a millionaire already so he can probably afford it :).
Btw, I think Aoki’s re-opening their shave ice business next month. Across the street from Matsumoto’s.
BigFan…Aoki’s opening again?…Dang it, Mike neva tell me about it. I know he been trying to get it going but permitting regulations was one big pain in the okole. Hope he got through it.
Aoki’s got the guud kine syrup from back in the day. Stanley can retire but Matsumoto’s is the place where everyone hears of and goes to so gotta keep um going. I think everybody go Haleiwa way to stop by Matsumoto’s and Paala kai Bakery in Waialua, home of the Snow Puffies and now the cinnamon almond fingers….hoo getting hungry now.
Former ’13 Kamehameha-Kapalama QB Cid Makoa Camanse-Stevens possible walk-on for UH at WR???
