One of my favorite cardiac nurses, Avis Yasumura, has selected … Nalani.
She wins four tickets to the Dec. 23 Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head basketball classic.
E-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org to make dropoff arrangements.
Thanks again to the lovely Avis (OK, you may go back to your patients).
And to all who participated. We’ve got another contest tomorrow.

Linebacker Brashton Satele has started his official appeal for an exemption that would allow him to play as a sixth-year senior in 2010. Defensive tackle Rocky Savaiigaea and offensive lineman Laupepa Letuli also will file similar appeals.
The way it works is the athletic department’s compliance people submit the appeal.
We’re told their cases are “slam dunks.”
But one person familiar with the situation cautioned: “Phi Slamma Jamma.”
