Colt signs with Raiders

Colt Brennan today signed a one-year contract with the Oakland Raiders.

Brennan, who was released by the Washington Redskins Monday, was invited for a tryout with the Raiders this morning. He received good reviews, then was offered a one-year contract. He participated in the Raiders’ afternoon practice.

Brennan was with the Redskins for two years after being their sixth-round pick in 2008. But because he was on injured reserve last year, he has been credited with one full year of service. If he plays for the Raiders this season, he will earn $395,000.

One of the good things about training camp is that it is leads to a goal: the Sept. 2 opener against USC. Unlike spring training, where every roster player gets a shot, training camp is about getting the best players the most significant work. As head coach Greg McMackin is fond of saying: “This isn’t P.E. football.”

So there is significance to the personnel groups. Here was the first defense yesterday: LE Liko Satele, LT Vaughn Meatoga, RT Haku Correa, RE Kamalu Umu, SLB Paipai Falemalu, MLB George Daily-Lyles, WLB Corey Paredes, FS Mana Silva, SS Spencer Smith.

The starting cornerbacks will be Lametrius Davis and Jeramy Bryant, although the Warriors have been rotating heavily at those positions.

* * * * *

Corey Paredes has emerged as the patriarch of the linebackers, and he doesn’t always take kindly to players who leave the “family.” But he probably is forgiving of Siaki Cravens’ move from linebacker to defensive end. In a roster transaction, brother Parker Paredes, a linebacker, has been added to the training-camp roster. Parker Paredes gets cornerback Tank Hopkins’ roster spot. Hopkins will redshirt this season because of an injury. Despite his best effort, Hopkins just wasn’t able to practice.

* * * * *

In a three-way trade, running back John Lister and slotbacks DJ Armbrust and Miah Ostrowski have changed numbers. Lister goes from No. 23 to No. 34, Armbrust from No. 80 to No. 23, and Ostrowski from No. 34 to No. 80.

Well, at least for now.

UH media relations insist the changes are not permanent. Maybe because it would lead to another revision in the media guide?

By the way, the media guides will be available for sale to the public. Check hawaiiathletics.com for updates.

Congrats to my nephew Chad Godfrey. Today is Chad and Justine’s wedding.

ST, are you going to attend your nephew’s wedding today?

  5. momona August 7, 2010 9:09 am

ST – last year, they went online with the media guides to reduce the costs associated with printing and distribution. Why wouldn’t they partner with the paper? I hope they will make enough money to offset those costs as they are now taking on all the risks.

Morning! Lots of articles on football today.. ! A great day in Hawai`i

    Morning folks!

Makes sense that ST refered to the media guides as “sorta sorta” type media guides earlier last week. 😉

  15. Garret August 7, 2010 10:37 am

Jake Ingram was listed as one of the “high impact” rookies or 2nd-year players for the Patriots.

Long snapper Jake Ingram (sixth round, 2009) — He stepped in for Lonie Paxton last season and made about as smooth of a transition as could have been expected. That should continue.

    CSBoy,

Yes, Tadd Fujikawa has been golfing very well. Let’s just hope he doesn’t freeze tomorrow and end up way behind, as has happened before!

  19. gigi-hawaii August 7, 2010 11:16 am

    Koakane,

is the game over? I should read the article.

  22. gigi-hawaii August 7, 2010 11:18 am

    Koakane,

how many times has Tadd won as a pro now? Once or twice? Good luck on the next one, Tadd.

  23. jeezy3 August 7, 2010 11:21 am

Parades starting???? noooo!!!! our we that bad that no one could take over one of the olb spots? I pray Aaron Brown gets healthy soon or could be a long season. Also hope Taimatuia and Elisara can step it up possibly.

  24. gigi-hawaii August 7, 2010 11:23 am

Waiting for Wie and Wilson to step up.

  25. huh? August 7, 2010 11:24 am

    Who’s Thad?

    Game what game?

    Get it right people!

    Tadd.

    Golf match.

  26. gigi-hawaii August 7, 2010 11:24 am

Anybody want to give me and hubby free golfing lessons? lol

    No such animal, huh?

  27. gigi-hawaii August 7, 2010 11:25 am

    Tennis match,

    Golf game…

  28. gigi-hawaii August 7, 2010 11:26 am

    The Great Game of Golf.

    Hubby echoes my opinion!

  29. al August 7, 2010 11:26 am

paredes will make a lot of plays this year.

  30. al August 7, 2010 11:30 am

actually tadd participated in a golf tournament.

a round of golf with friends is never referred to as a game of golf.

pitting two golfers or more is often called a match and sometimes the format is match-play.

  31. gigi-hawaii August 7, 2010 11:30 am

    Al,

hopefully, so will Moniz — if he ever cuts his hair… I’ll whoop with joy.

  32. al August 7, 2010 11:31 am

take a course at uh in beginners golf. cheapest way out.

you will also learn proper golf jargon.

  33. gigi-hawaii August 7, 2010 11:31 am

    Anybody else agree with al?

  34. al August 7, 2010 11:32 am

    why would hair matter?

    does it affect his throwing?

    ability to read defenses?

  35. gigi-hawaii August 7, 2010 11:32 am

only problem with taking the UH course. The instructor will force me to wear golfing clothes.

  36. gigi-hawaii August 7, 2010 11:33 am

can’t read his name on the back with long hair. looks uggaaly.

  37. al August 7, 2010 11:36 am

you were referring to tadd’s success in the recent tournament. a tournament is not a game like the football game, baseball game, etc.

golf is a game but tadd participated in a golf tournament.

  38. al August 7, 2010 11:37 am

well, i don’t think any one would be caught dead teaching someone the finer points of golf who is dressed in a muumuu and tennis shoes.

  39. al August 7, 2010 11:38 am

    #37…that’s why they have numbers.

  40. gigi-hawaii August 7, 2010 11:38 am

dressed in a muumuu and SANDALS. get it right.

  41. al August 7, 2010 11:40 am

    many courses won’t allow sandals.

  42. gigi-hawaii August 7, 2010 11:42 am

I don’t do well in sports of any kind, unfortunately.

I took hula and tennis during the summer while an undergrad at UH back in the 60s. BEEEG mistake, cause the B for hula and the C for tennins lowered my GPA.

  43. al August 7, 2010 11:43 am

move to maui and have duffer the ace teach you a thing or two. he already mentors two of maui’s finest youth golfers in the kid and cassy. but, you would at least have to buy him dinner at that pedestrian eatery, tiffany’s.

  44. gigi-hawaii August 7, 2010 11:44 am

hmmm, with a name like Tiffany, how can it possibly be pedestrian? I would think it would be upscale.

  45. al August 7, 2010 11:45 am

are you tooting your own horn by saying that the b and c were the low points of your collegiate stint?

i guess you never got drunk at the upper campus student center?

  46. LizKauai (iPad) August 7, 2010 11:45 am

I like Moniz’ hair. My son Steven has long, luxurious hair. He wears it in a bun for work and someday he will donate it to locks of love.

  47. jeezy3 August 7, 2010 11:45 am

Parades will make plays? We talking about the same one who shined against Central Arkansas and WAZZU? Sorry al but my expectations are just a little bit higher for UH football. Being average doesn’t get me too excited. Performing against good teams is something i look at. playmakers such as Spencer Smith, Meatoga, Falemalu are the quality guys we need more of to get back to winning ways.

  48. al August 7, 2010 11:46 am

for us low life tiffany’s is upscale. sort of a modern day kuhio grill.

  49. LizKauai (iPad) August 7, 2010 11:47 am

Gigi wore tennies under her muumuu on Kauai. 😆

  50. gigi-hawaii August 7, 2010 11:47 am

Al, haha, well, there was that F for 3rd year French that I will never forget!

  51. gigi-hawaii August 7, 2010 11:48 am

Nope, Liz, check your photo of us. I was wearing sandals!

  52. al August 7, 2010 11:48 am

paredes was but a role player last year. this year he has the opportunity to start. he will make an impact as he already does everyday at practice.

  53. al August 7, 2010 11:51 am

sandals may be the cause of your poor golf swing and the like. you need to have a solid base.

i would like to be witness to the day you do venture back on the course when the lawn is slick and a bit wet and you need to traverse down a slope to retrieve your errant flighted ball. whuuuuupah.

    okay, that was mean. sorry.

  54. al August 7, 2010 11:52 am

lizk…i hope that things clears up for you. the papio still running.

  55. Momo August 7, 2010 11:56 am

GIGI–The best way is take lessons from a Pro. It will cost about 3-40/lesson, but you will learn the right way to golf and in the long run, you will have more fun. Or you could take the Adult Ed course and they give really good lessons…Or you can join my club as we play three times per month on a given sunday all over Oahy. We are a friendlly bunch and they are all seniors and will enjoy teaching you and take your money at the same time. We leavse all the wining for the 19 th hole so you really don’t mine the lost for you will enjoy the food..

  56. gigi-hawaii August 7, 2010 11:56 am

so, when you are driving the ball, is your right arm straight and unbent? My hairdresser told me that’s the way to do it. But, it’s too difficult for me. I need to bend it when swinging from right to left.

  57. mctruck August 7, 2010 11:58 am

maybe the, “F” stood for french.

Congratulations Tadd! The little guy wins! Now UH over USC!!!

My twin uncles recently had to have shoulder surgery, due to golfing. Hope that doesn’t happen to me.

Golfing is really addictive. It’s best not to golf too often if you want to avoid injuring yourself.

Last year Cory Paredes was diving at ankles, arm tackling and trailing running backs in their pass routes. This was clearly inexperience. His timing was bad and got to the holes late. I’m expecting a better and improved Parades this year.

    Go Warriors

    more Colt stuff …

The Oakland Raiders have signed former Washington Redskins quarterback Colt Brennan.

Brennan is practicing with the team today today, according to the Raiders.

Brennan was cut by the Washington Redskin after they traded for quarterback John Beck from the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for cornerback Doug Dutch.

Brennan was a record-setting college player at the University of Hawaii, but hasn’t emerged as a viable NFL quarterback yet.

Follow me on Twitter: RavensInsider (Aaron Wilson)

  85. A-House August 7, 2010 3:30 pm

Good news on Colt, but wish it was the 49ers.

Wonder if Campbell had anything to do with Colt’s signing? Who backs up Campbell?

  86. A-House August 7, 2010 3:31 pm

Big Congrats to Taddy, as Mrs A-House says. Continue your winning ways!!!

  87. tom mui August 7, 2010 3:32 pm

Well, I would have liked to seen Colt as a 49er or even a Viking.

But a job is a job.

    Go COLT!!!!!!!!!!

  88. A-House August 7, 2010 3:33 pm

Had a great time at the makeover – Tsaikos in attendance: Chawan, Kazz, the Docs, slugger, and the A-Houses!

  89. Kazz August 7, 2010 3:34 pm

Barely awake at this point… the 3rd Annual Manoa Makeover was a success.

About 30-40 people helped out. Mostly UHAD employees including Jim Donovan, Carl Clapp, and John McNamara.

Coaches were Charlie Wade, Gib Arnold and some of his staff, Coach Wisneski, Coach Dana Takahara-Dias, just to name a few.

I think I’m going to go buy me a powerwasher now…

Food was ono, BBQ chicken and the steaks on the grill just about signaled my body to shut down.

  90. Kazz August 7, 2010 3:38 pm

Raw talent often comes in young packages. Thirteen-year-old softball pitcher Naomi Monahan burned her way into the starting rotation of the 16U Division of Miken Elite Fastpitch Softball.

As just an 8th grader at Buljan Middle School in Roseville, Monahan is the youngest player on Head Coach Derek Harris’ 16-and-under squad. The move up puts her alongside teammates’ midterm through their high school careers.

On vacation in Hawaii last year it was clear to the young ace what it would take to reach her goals.

“I visited the University of Hawaii Softball Coach Bob Coolen. He toured me and my family around the athletic facilities and from that day I knew what my softball and academic goals are and I hope to play for Coach Bob in 2016,” Monahan said. “I was surprised that he spent so much time with me explaining the academic requirements and what he looks for in student players.”

13 years old or not, I’m going to hold to this on her word! 😆

  91. ai-eee-soos August 7, 2010 3:39 pm

    some moa Colt stuff …

    Colt Brennan QB Oakland Raiders

    Height: 6’3′ Weight: 212 DOB: 8/16/1983 Age: 26

    Aug. 7, 2010 – 8:18 p.m. ET

Raiders signed QB Colt Brennan, formerly of the Redskins, to an undisclosed contract.

He’s been reunited with starter Jason Campbell. Along with Charlie Frye and Kyle Boller, the Raiders now have three of the most brittle quarterbacks in the league vying for the No. 3 job.

The odds are stacked against Brennan while he spends the next couple of weeks trying to pick up Hue Jackson’s offense.

… some moa Colt redundancy …

Raiders sign former Hawaii quarterback Colt Brennan

    Oakland Tribune staff

    Posted: 08/07/2010 06:05:45 PM PDT

    Updated: 08/07/2010 06:08:31 PM PDT

NAPA — The Raiders announced the signing of former University of Hawaii star quarterback Colt Brennan on Saturday afternoon.

Brennan, who was cut earlier this week by the Washington Redskins, was brought after Raiders backup Charlie Frye injured his wrist. Brennan, a sixth-round draft pick by the Redskins in 2008, joins Bruce Gradkowski, Kyle Boller and Frye as backups to Raiders starter Jason Campbell.

For more information, check our Raiders blog for analysis from Jerry McDonald.

  99. Da Punchbowl Kid August 7, 2010 4:13 pm

    Way to go Colt!

Now let the man play, he can do it!

CoolEthan you were only off by one day!;)

    Congratulations, Chad & Justine!

What a workout at the Manoa Makeover today. Thanks to JD for a wonderful lunch. UH treasures were being given away…stay tuned to the blog (I’ll get some to ST) and to the special offers via the Softball booster club site!

  101. koakane™ August 7, 2010 4:16 pm

congrats to colt for signing with raiders, man there is going to be hard times with some tsaikos because of this lol bwhaaaaaaaaaaa

always loved the silver and black.

  102. Garret (phone) August 7, 2010 4:18 pm

Good luck to Colt in Oakland! It sounds like he is competing with 2 QBs that are already in camp for the 3rd spot…but as long as he vets the reps, he has a chance.

It is sad that the national media doesn’t care about Colt…my Google News search constantly checks for any news about Colt and I didn’t see any news until now.

  103. chawan_cut August 7, 2010 4:28 pm

    what a great day.

    clean up

    practice

    wedding

    colt

  104. Slugger August 7, 2010 4:29 pm

Good luck to Colt! I like the Raiders since I lived in Oakland. I just like the Niners better…hahahaha

Maybe I can catch a game when I get to the Bay Area….hmmmm, better go look up the schedule…although Colt may not be starting…boo…

    K, bon dance tonight!

  105. protector August 7, 2010 4:31 pm

Let’s hope Colt gets a real shot to stick with the team, although it sucks that Campbell seems entrenched as the starter. Like ‘tom mui’, would’ve preferred he go to the 49ers or Colts or even places like Buffalo, Cleveland, Minnesota, etc. Well, if he doesn’t really get a legitimate

look with the Raiders, they may still be viable options, I hope.

  106. chopsueyboy August 7, 2010 4:32 pm

isn’t Russell Shimooka in the bay area?

maybe he can do some Colt coverage

  107. chopsueyboy August 7, 2010 4:33 pm

I also would have preferred the 49ers,

but at least he’s on the left coast,

if he has a chance to play, betters our chances to see him.

  108. Derek August 7, 2010 4:38 pm

    1. I’m a die hard SF 49ers fan, but I guess I’ll now have to be an Oakland Raider fan too since Colt just join them. Good luck, Colt!

    2. Tadd Fujikawa must be the best shortest pro golfer in history. At 5’1″ he’s shorter than Ian Woosnam and guys like Rod Curl. What a great story! He’s like Mighty Mouse. Dynamite comes in small packages. And he’s sneaky long. Just amazing. I play golf every week and let me tell you, it’s not easy. Just look at Tiger! His problem, he can’t hit the fairway. To me, the most important shot in golf is the tee shot because it sets up everything. Whether you’re an amateur or professional if you expect to play well you have to hit the ball in the fairway, period!

scan through photos to see Colt #4 at Raider’s practice

  110. BowsForever August 7, 2010 4:41 pm

Hopefully Colt will get his shot with the Raiders. Will Hue Jackson run the spread offense at Oakland? If so, it doesn’t sound like that bad a fit for Colt right out of the gate.

  111. performance coach August 7, 2010 5:07 pm

Corey Paredes is a great athlete who can only be questioned by people with some type of ulterior motive. With only four starts last year he finishes the season with TEAM HIGH sacks. How does that happen? He has motivation and off-the charts skills. He is “WAC player of the week” in his second start. How does that happen? He’s just soooo good. Listen “Oldiver” and “Cheezy”, I know you want your player to start, but targeting our best linebacker is not the smart thing to do. We need to support our team now. Not start this “noise” out there to create dissension and doubt in the public. Sit back and let the fun begin.

  112. duffer August 7, 2010 5:25 pm

    @al,

move to maui and have duffer the ace teach you a thing or two. he already mentors two of maui’s finest youth golfers in the kid and cassy. but, you would at least have to buy him dinner at that pedestrian eatery, tiffany’s.

Cassy is coached by Brenda Rego, me I just give her some encouragement, like her other “uncles”, like Stretch! 🙂

Trust me, it’ll be more than Tiffany’s! 🙂

  113. Ipu Man August 7, 2010 5:33 pm

Colt will be under center with center Samson Satele.

Oakland black and blue, I mean silver.

  115. CoolEthan August 7, 2010 6:20 pm

    Boom Bada Boom Baby!

Oakland is better than Arena or the CFL.

John Madden would of signed Colt the 1st day of free agency

Colt has a shot, maybe a few series, and he is much cheaper as a third guy than the competition

Everybody cross their fingers and he is 27

    duffer:

reintroduced my self to Coach Dana at the Manoa Makeover today giving her encouragement for 2010 and our support for her team.

  120. A-House August 7, 2010 7:18 pm

If given a chance, I believe Colt will outshine to other 2 QBs since the 3rd in camp is injured and entrench himself as #2.

Huh? My post was in response to a previous post that was critical of Paredes. As I said he had a rough year last year because of inexperience, but I expect him to be much better this year. Sorry I didn’t make myself clearer. Cory is a good friend of my son so I am backing him 100%.

  122. I wanted to thank you for this exceptional view!! I certainly enjoying every single tiny bit of it.We have you bookmarked to verify out new stuff you article.

  123. Garret August 7, 2010 8:16 pm

From the boxscore it seems like Chad had his best receiving game so far–5 catches for 56 yards. Chad had 3 punt returns for 35 yards, but he had 0 kick returns so I’m guessing the other team made sure to kick to the other returner.

  124. Garret August 7, 2010 8:17 pm

The boxscore today seems to give bad news for Sol and Adam…neither had a tackle today it appears.

  125. Derek August 7, 2010 8:21 pm

My, my, they sure recruit young don’t they? I wonder if a verbal commitment will hold when a kid is 13 years old? I remember the story when Bobby Knight gave a scholarship to a grade school kid by the name of Damon Bailey to go to Indiana. Well, Bailey did go to Indiana and he was from Indiana too. The difference in this situation is that the prospect is from California and Hawaii is a long way from home. Indeed, we hope for the best. The good part is that the Hawaii program has a lot of players from California so that’s not unusual.

  126. Garret August 7, 2010 8:21 pm

One interesting note about Colt is that Oakland’s passing game is being controlled by Ted Tollner…who may be Colt’s agent’s Dad.

The Raiders signing of quarterback Colt Brennan Saturday means they’re not sure if Bruce Gradkowski and Charlie Frye will be healthy enough to face Dallas in the first preseason game and don’t want to go into it with only two quarterbacks.

Brennan arrived for the afternoon practice and spent most of the session getting a cram course on the offense from Ted Tollner, the team’s passing game coordinator last year and still listed that way even though the Raiders brought in a new offensive coordinator in Hue Jackson.

The Raiders looked at both Brennan and undrafted free agent quarterback Jevon Snead of Missississpi, before determining Brennan to be the better option.

  127. Garret August 7, 2010 8:22 pm

This 2006 article in the Sports Agent Blog indicates that Colt’s agent Ryan Tollner is the nephew of Ted Tollner.

Bruce and Ryan are cousins, not brothers as some may think. Bruce is the child of Ted Tollner who was the former head coach of USC and San Diego State football teams. Ted Tollner has also held a number of NFL coaching positions, most recently as the offensive coordinator of the Detroit Lions this past year.

  128. Garret August 7, 2010 8:30 pm

The Star-Advertiser identified Ryan Tollner as Colt’s agent in their article a few days ago, and Ryan had a lot of quotes in the article. However, it appears that Bruce and Ryan work together for their clients…so, Colt’s agents are the son and the nephew of the Oakland coach in charge of the passing game. Colt’s agents sure had the inside connection with Oakland!

The number of states with 30% or more of adults being obese has tripled from 3 to 9 since 2007, with 75 million Americans now considered obese. Obese people require almost $1,500 more in medical expenses each year, so obesity is costing Americans as much as $150 billion a year due to diabetes, heart disease and cancer.

Biologists have been concerned that the plumes of dispersant and oil in the Gulf’s deep waters disappeared so suddenly–they cannot find oil at the surface or underwater either. One Berkeley Labs scientist appears to have found the reason–oil-eating bacteria in the Gulf reacted quickly to consume the oil. He feels that the oil-eating bacteria were able to react so quickly because they have been primed by natural oil seeps along the sea floor.

13 years old, 14, 15, 16, 17,… heck… verbal commits don’t hold when they are 18 until they arrive on campus and enrolled or that actual letter with the signature arrives at the office.

  137. Stephen Tsai August 7, 2010 9:11 pm

Yep, Bruce Tollner and Ryan Tollner both represent Colt.

But it seems in this situation, Ryan is taking more of the lead.

    They’re both good guys, though.

  138. A-House August 7, 2010 9:20 pm

    Derek:

your #128 – reading the post, I was under the impression that the 13 year old made commitment without being asked by Coolen. The family was on vacation and decided to visit UH and Coolen was gracious enough to show them around.

Whatever the case may be, it’s an excellent sign that this youngster is impressed with Coolen, the program, and Hawaii. Being that good at 13 years, I’m sure that the “big name” schools with great facilities, etc. will make a pitch for her. This is were we will see if a 13 year old will remember her visit and commitment to Na Wahine.

So, we can say Coolen got his first commitment for 2016.

BTW, heard that the new lefty catcher is doing well and excited to enroll at UH.

The Raiders looked at both Brennan and undrafted free agent quarterback Jevon Snead of Missississpi, before determining Brennan to be the better option.

Whew! The last time Colt got compared to an Ole Miss QB, it was some kid named Manning

  140. al August 7, 2010 9:54 pm

ralphie…wow what a day for you huh?

although i knew that the raiders were still looking for the next kenny stabler, i felt that colt would not follow campbell to oakland. i didn’t realize that ted tollner was there which now makes sense as to why colt was tendered a tryout and a subsequent free agent look.

it is still a very good opportunity for him. like everyone has been saying he just got to get on the field to show his stuff. hopefully the raiders will be patient.

it helps that samson satele is there.

  141. Ralph August 7, 2010 10:06 pm

Al if Davis was willing to blow $40million on Russell, he should be patient with Colt and keep on the roster or practice squad at under 400K salary

  142. LizKauai (iPad) August 7, 2010 10:09 pm

    What a day!

Don’t know which was more fulfilling – Colt getting a job or being in the car while my baby successfully practiced parallel parking.

    😆

If Davis isn’t willing to be patient with Colt, then he (Davis) should be locked up in a care home because it’s clear he’s lost his mind… as if the $40 million for Russell wasn’t a clear enough indication in the first place.

  145. al August 7, 2010 10:37 pm

colt’s immediate impression to al davis is that he can beat out the #2, #3 qb’s. at half the price he would be worth taking a longer look at.

given the opportunity he has the potential to beat out campbell no later than by next year if he is given a fair shot. oakland under davis has been known to do the unconventional and are willing to take some chances based upon what al sees. i believe colt has the personality and ability to win over an al davis.

  146. Ralph August 7, 2010 10:40 pm

Kazz Russell is a good example that HS performance with 5 star ratings and playing for a BCS school, LSU, doesn’t guarantee success in the NFL. Jevan Snead is another example of a HS star enrolling at Texas with other talented HS quarterbacks, Colt McCoy years, only to transfer to Ole Miss and leave there after his junior for the NFL draft. Well he wasn’t drafted and Colt got the invite from the Raiders over him in a one day try out.

  147. Kazz August 7, 2010 10:50 pm

A JUGS machine would have won a one day try out over Jamarcus Russell.

  148. Kazz August 7, 2010 10:51 pm

Then… again I dunno if the JUGS machine can throw a ball 50 yards while sitting down… 🙄

  149. Ralph August 7, 2010 10:58 pm

Al Davis is a patient man, he kept Ken Stabler and if you look at this career stats, Stabler threw as many interceptions as touchdowns. He also had a pot belly and was known to enjoy his brew. Bottom line, Stabler lead his team to wins and that’s all that matters
