Happy ending
Well, that was an eventful year.
No need to rehash it, since I’m sure every news organization will do that today and tomorrow. But here’s something that turned up. It’s a letter from the owner of a construction company to Na Koa, the UH football booster club. It was written during the summer:
“I am pleased to make a donation in the amount of $1,000 to Na Koa Football Club in the name of Colt Brennan. Recently, Colt agreed to help my family with autographs on footballs and jerseys. When we asked what we could do for him, typical of Colt, he had no compensation expectations but suggested that if there was any interest in making a donation, that we make the donation to Na Koa so that it can contribute toward the successes of the UH football program.
“One of the autographed footballs will be going to a youngster in our family living in San Diego who is an avid fan of Colt’s and very recently found out he has Hodgkins disease. The football autographed by Colt will be a very special gift … as (he) faces a medical challenge for his young life.
“Colt is a very special young man, and he is sincerely appreciative for all he has done to provide hope and improve the UH football program, the university and to our state, and we owe him a debt of gratitude. It is clear that Colt believes in Na Koa and the support it provides to the UH football program, and I am glad to be able to act on his suggestion.”

SteveM, our archivist, suggested that when it’s the new year in your area, you post it. Like most of SteveM’s suggestions, this sounds like a good one.
Nice!
Hey I’m 1st. Way to go Colt!
And you’re second, too.
Top 5
too soon… we are working on the OLD blog…
All the best to Colt for a successful surgery and FANTASTIC 2009!

This will spread your good wishes, increase ST’s hit and comments count for The Warrior Beat, and help me update my Tsai-ko Mainland & International list! π
LizK,
Correct!!!!! One smart woman!!
Just flipping channels, and I see the basketball replay is on. You can hardly see me, I wore all green so I blended into the seats.
Colt is the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mahalo to Colt. He continues to be the model citizen. 100% pure golden heart! Aloha!

jason,
don’t remind everyone about your “friend” outing last night. i think they all forgot. unless you like the jokes and jabs.
i’m sure there were many tsaikos glued to their tv trying to find you last night.
guess it’s safe to post since Tsai put annoddah one up. awryte stretch is fine for 09.
Colt Brennan never ceases to amaze me.
The great ones never do.
Call it SteveM. Whatever number of Post we end with is for your files. I believe the unofficial count by Brew looked like we passed a few milestones. If it is still being counted, I guess we could keep posting on the old blog just to finish off the year with a new world record.
Feel good story…Colt is the man ! I still have my Tsaiko sign with “Colt for Heisman” from the Vegas trip from 2 seasons ago. Some day I’ll get that signed.
Happy New Year from Joe Mama’s house
ST: Why is it that Mack does not drive?
ditto what CC just said. I didn’t even know the game was being replayed. I can see your green shirt but I can’t see your arm. Is it around your date??
nobody looking for you anyways homeslice jason
I googled CRS and found that there really is a Can’t Remember Stuff Syndrome. Is this another take on dementia? I was under the impression that the body hangs around about ten years after the mind goes.
Yuckk!
My arms were on my knees, as I was crouched over, focusing on the game. π
3-Prong: Huh? I’ve seen Mack drive after Nā Koa meetings.
Looks like we’re in for a wet new years eve.
Anyone noticed how sneaky HA is today? Morning paper is now 75 cents. Don’t recall they were going to raise it.
koakane – eh, get with it. It’s been 75 cents for long time, it was in the news. How you think they going to fund the pay raises?? Ooooops, I don’ t think they settled the contract yet so no pay raises. Where IS the money going??!!??
Warriors resolutions:
1. Colt-like QB that can lead this R&S offense back to a BCS bowl.
2. A stout offensive line that pass protects.
3. A bend but don’t break secondary that does not give up big plays.
4. Special teams that does not give up field position on kick-offs or punt returns and makes all the gimme field goals and extra points.
5. A disciplined team that does not get flagged for personal fouls or holding penalties.
What news was dat, OCCC bulletin? I have a paper from last week for 50 cents.
Mack drives.
He’s got a pretty good ride, too.
Here’s the trick. Check the top right. If it says HOME edition, that’s the good one. If it says STATE edition and you’re on Oahu, go slap your distributor. The State edition is the bogus one we print early. The Home edition is the one with all of the late-breaking stuff. They’re not supposed to sell any State editions on Oahu.
Less than 9 hours til the new year in Phoenix, AZ. ST, what new cheer will you bring us in Warriors news? You remember Dick Fishback…he was the assistant AD back when I was in school. Just got a Xmas card from him. I try to hook up with him on the Vegas trips.
Thanks, ST… we been paying bigger cents for da papah for years – yesterday’s news for today’s prices. Dats why I like da ONLINE papah…
back to work.
ST – what is the status w/ the contract??

~~~β’~~~~β’~~eat BLUEBERRIES…lots and lots of BLUEBERRIES~~β’~~~~β’~~~
Let’s see …
Our fine union leader agreed to have us go from getting paid once a week to once every other week.
Our leader also agreed that we go from HMSA to Summerlin.
And that reporters now can shoot photos and videos.
But no contract yet.
We’re operating under the one that expired in June 2007.
They just have to figure out a way to make money online.
I think it’s possible. I mean, Mark Cuban doesn’t strike me as being very smart, and he made tons from the Internet.
Wait. I see a Saturn ad on the right.
So, folks, go out and buy a Saturn. Tell them Stephen sent you.
I think they need to update that survey.
It says participants have a chance to win UH football tickets.
Or … you can just wait for another Kinda Shy donation and just say: “Hey, Princess, where are the basketball videos?”
hmmmβ¦. we better check if Bobby Curran is using STβs login. That sounds like a familiar promo
βHey, Princess, where are the basketball videos?β
what do i win??
Jason #25,
2 items of error.
1). Your hand should be on her knees. OOOPPPSSS. First date.
2). Your focus should be on her, not the game. She’s thinking “He’s
not focusing his time on me. Boring.” How can you get a second date?
Maybe not. It’s a long bus ride to CA.
Happy New Year’s Eve!! again
LizK,
Can’t eat blueberries. Not normal color when it comes out the other end.
When was the spring game last year at the stadium? Does anyone know if it will be around the same date next spring? That could be a cool weekend trip.
New record! Harder than running the marathon.
Esme out!!
Garret will probably report on this…
(CNN) — Baffled consumers are griping about a mysterious glitch that appeared to cause thousands of Zune music players to simultaneously stop working late Tuesday and early Wednesday.
Microsoft issued the first Zune portable music player in 2006 to compete with the iPod.
Internet message boards have been flooded with complaints about Zune’s 30GB models freezing, prompting Y2K-like speculation about end-of-year hardware or software problems.
“It seems that every Zune on the planet has just frozen up and will not work,” posted a Mountain Home, Idaho, user on CNN’s iReport.com. “I have 3 and they all in the same night stopped working.”
Another iReporter said he was working the night shift at a Toys R Us store in Puerto Rico when his Zune player and the Zunes of four co-workers all failed about 1:30 a.m. ET Wednesday.
at least jason’s “friend” was wearing green, and caught the bus with him, both ways.
ST – interested in your views of Summerlin. you can email me.
BillB
Yup Liliuokalani Elementary, my aunt was the cafeteria manager at the time I went before she moved to Palolo Elementary, my mom worked at the Ben Franklin store…
jm2375
I’m a little worried. We haven’t received our Summerlin cards yet. HMSA is set to expire at midnight … right when a skyrocket will land on my head.
Well, I have to go make my Visa payment now. Talk to you guys in a bit.
All the store owners in the area knew my mom, so had to behave or it was the yard stick and then the belt if the yard stick broke…When to Japanese school across from the Kaimuki Fire Station
KKid, do you have the same fond memories of the candy popcorn from Ben Franklin, believe it was about 25 or 50 cents for a freshly popped bag. I went to Liliuokalani also.
How does one know what the color is at the other end? I mean, unless one is changing diapers, who looks at that stuff? Double Yuccckkkk!!!!!
Put the lid down before flushing.
KKid, one more thing the school lunches at Liliuokalani were da “bomb”, most home made style. Still remember when I had cafeteria duty and they served shoyu chicken. We ate after lunch service and the cafeteria manager put the pot on the table and it was all you could eat, was so, so ono. Don’t know if your mom was there during my stay, but if she was, boy she could really cook.
Ronnie:
Saturday, April 26, 2008 was the spring training game. We had a T-Gate beforehand.
I imagine that IF there is a game open to the public, it will be on Saturday, April 25.
Hi everybody! Just wanted to wish all of you a very happy 2009! Thank you for a great year and hope to be seeing and meeting more of you in the future. Be safe and have fun welcoming the year of the… Ox? I forget.
Sorry KKid, I mean your aunt could cook. Maybe your mom is the one I bought the candy popcorn from?
ST – stay safe and get your meds today if possible.
Dam what’s up with da weatha? All of a sudden des clouds show up. Now scrambling to alt plans.
Happy New Year…from Chinese Heaven….oh wait, get twelve more hours yet…oops, my bad….LMAO
I hope it doesn’t rain, hard to clean up when the red paper stuck to the ground
Happy New Year from the slopes of beautiful Puowaena.
Stretch…that’s why you let the paper dry first…then you can pick it up in one piece…
A little birdee tell to me about a local player leaving a top ranked program and considering returning home to play for the Warriors. If this is confirmed within the next few days, we have a good fill for the O zone, if not…we wait patiently for negotiations to make it so.
Jason just hit it baybeee
I hope it pours. No need brush fires baybeee
To all Tsaiko’s and your family….from my lovely partner in life and myself..
Please have a Safe, Healthy and Propsperous New Year!
Every New Year I think of the song…”Imagine” and hope for a better year.
We will have a “New and Improved” Warrior team next year. can’t wait for spring training.
My typing sucks…sorry…
Kekoa:
You still going to blow up cupcakes tonight π
a birdie told me that you’re full of it.
curveball – I hope that’s all he blows up. menntioning anything else and he might get scoldings again. btw – nice to see you posting. I hope the mrs is doing well. happy new year!!
some programs w/local O-line guys:
Texas Tech, Oregon State, USC, Washington, Arizona, Colorado, UCLA, Cal
of course not all of these fall under the “top-ranked” category.
somewhere on there eh Kekoa.
curveball…good to see you back. Hope the Mrs. is doing better….continued prayers….
and Happy New Year to all the Tsaikos….in case I forget later….
when was this?
If you went to Liliuokalani when they had the old wooden cafeteria then that was my aunt. If you were there when they had the cafeteria/auditorium then my aunt had already transfered to Palolo. This was before they installed the basketball court. To bad because of low enrollment they may close the school down and turn it into more office space for the State/DOE.
Tweet tweet…twoot
Stretch…so, not drinking till next year eh???
Happy New Year everyone from London, England!!!!
Keep smiling and take care of your health…
Cheers!!!!
That’s the right idea! Those are all good choices. One of those is THE one….and yes not all are considered a top ranked program. It prolly won’t be too much of surprise to most Tsaiko’s if and when it clears.
Hello. Tsaiko-Nation and Tsai-Meister.
Wow, been gone all day and coming back, the blog has gone completely nuts (in a good way). Never thought we would brake the record, just shows you what an unusual and fun community the Tsaikos are, great job.
Many times, feeling blue sometimes for whatever reason, I come to this blog, sometimes just lurking, but I always feel better, after reading the banter, jokes and even seriousness put forth by our extremely diversified community. There simply just isn’t another community like it in the cyber universe. Who would have thunk…..
To all my friends, known in person or not, I wish a very happy new year, a much better one than this dud just parting from our lives.
I hope everyone will keep the loving insanity going, so I can keep my sanity.
happy new year from the back of thebus teaching jason how to kiss. bwhahahahaha.
Hey ST so are Aaron Brown & Zach Masch coming in May as well. Being that UH can only offer 5 schollies in Jan does Billy Stutzmann still enroll in January and go on scholarship in the fall?
Curveball ~ Nah, the cupcakes are in a safe zone with the other foods for tonite. Like Stretch says, I’m on probation.
I’m glad my message put a smile on Kristin’s face. We think of her daily. Please take care.
Jason did WHAT?
After all the brownie kisses we shared……..sniff
Our new President has some huge plates in front of him.
Two wars, a new (old) flaring middle east crisis, an economy completely in the crapper and the whole world looking to him to be the savior.
The best part I’ve seen from him sofar, he doesn’t appear to shrink from the huge challenges ahead, but rather seems to welcome them.
What I have deduced about him, digging as deep into his person as possible, is that he might be just the one. If he runs the show as professional and as focused as he ran his campaign, this country will experience a great revival over the next two years.
If he succeeds and is re-elected, he has the chance to go down as one of the greatest presidents in history. His roots, partially grown in Hawaii, will serve him well.
I didn’t mean to be political, I’m a centrist, but this young man has the power to affect all our lives and my prayers and good wishes are with him.
Chick-fil-A bowl ready to start, LSU vs GT.
Hey KM and Maryann(e) no feel slighted. Jason nevah like kiss me needah.
Happy New Year to all the bloggers; Warrior Football Team and Coaches; & Tsaiko’s: I enjoyed reading the blogs especially news on recruits with speed. I hope Mack have an exceptional recruiting class with speed. It was a fun year reading the blogs and good luck ’09 Warriors.
Nothing Colt Brennan does in this manner ever surprises me. What we’ve seen from him for three years is 100 % real.
Oh Jason, little Jason.
Give me one more chance….please
Nothing can replace the joy I find when we walk hand in hand through the zoo.
You would always tire by the monkey cages and I would hoist you on my shoulders and carry your sleeping body to the bus stop on Kapahulu.
You would sleep on the bus, your head on my shoulders, the pungent smell of kim chee wafting up from your drool.
My guess is a kid in Texas comes home.
Colt is a humble, gifted young man raised by great parents who taught him well. Mahalo to the Brennans for contributing to the world.
if anyone is flying Hawaiian today, go EARLY. Their computers are down right now. Check in is a mess!!
you know how picky i am about names.
but, isn’t it puowaina?
Insider ~ Nope he’s not from there. Not gonna say anymore until the announcement is made by the UH officials.
It’s Pūowaina.
I’d say it’s a kid in the Big East conference.
speaking of da big east, did that kemoeatu kid ever make it out to west virginia?
das da one bulleh das da one.
i’d say big east or pac-10. or possibly utah.
Don’t know if someone posted this info earlier but just got back from walk with mrs……
Celestial event tonight- look at the moon around sunset, Venus will be below it, and after sunset- should also be able to see Mercury and Jupiter below(if you draw a straight line from the moon thru Venus)
We only saw moon with Venus since the west mountain range in LV blocked the other planets.
Good viewing and be safe tonight gang.
Happy NY Celebration and use designated driver if necessary.
Okay gang…have to go soon. Hope all of you have a safe and Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
re # 103, 104, 105, 106.
Even if was da buggah, he no can play this fall.;
In fact, anyone transfering in from a 4-year school, cannot play this fall.
Reserve center at USC.
hi everybody. Happy New Year!
great run on da champ, guyz!
Can we just have Colt be our president? π
happy new year!
be safe tonight and may God bless you all.
re #110.
da buggah not big enough.
and, he wasn’t recruited by UH.
so what’s the big deal?
given the way the hawaii bowl went, you wonder why UH wouldn’t be selling the shirts a lot cheaper…and no hats to be found either. just went on the rainbow boutique website and %&$#, hawaii bowl stuff is still at the original prices! do they maybe think hawaii won, or that it will increase in value because of the marque opponent? c’mon people, get with it, the massacre happened one week ago already! maybe the o-line coach is the same guy running the rainbow boutique concessions?
Howzit Everybody,
Before I leave work for home I would like to once agian wish everybody a happy new years. Looking forward to a badder 2009 for all. Take care and may god watch over all and your families during your celebrations.
Koakane Shinsho Tei. LOL
what was the attendance at last night’s bb game…..JD wants revenue, Na Koa wants Kala, so how many peeks paid to watch last night’s game…pepperdine came in 2-12, i doubt they drew much attention unless your names are chawan cut and jason…
Hey ST,
Tell the UL, the HA has lost touch with its Market.
The Older folks read the whole paper but the young market only looks for the highlights and googles the rest online. The paper needs to remake itself to add value to the consumer. You can get everything including the Longs Ad online.
The reporters alone, add value to the paper with insight and background on key stories. We don’t need in depth coverage of National and International news. We need the local scoops!
Local college, highschool and Hawaii sports need to be covered in-depth.
We want to know about local stars and celebrities. If athletes go away we need to know how they are doing.
We’d like to know about the sports and games of interest to locals, surfing, fishing, golf, running, biking, UFC and kids stuff.
In the HA the Hawaii section, Sports Section and Today need to be bigger than section A unless its local news coverage.
HA needs more ethnic coverage of local interest. News, events, shout-outs and boo-boos.
We’d like to know where the hotspots are located, the restaurants, clubs, bars etc.
The sales division needs to really hit the local advertisers for the print edition and the online needs to hit the national and international advertisers. Subscribtion should not be relied upon for the bottom line.
If the Sales and Management did their job, the HA would be FREE!
The execs should be the ones to pay the price because they are not delivering a palatable product.
To cut benefits to employees e.g. Summerlin (Terrible!) from HMSA and Kaiser is morale busting.l At least give you guys a choice.
I going get off the soap box now, cuz I gotta cook. But, I’m tired of hearing about management not delivering leadership and a product worth buying.
Hoist a toast of Aloha to 2008 and here’s wishing the Tsaikos a safe and Happy New Year!
One more thing
Bradda Colt continue your great work. This story show how much our athletes can actually affect the community. We need more athletes like Colt. I think somebody out there that could be a big boost to our community would be someone by the Manti Te’o. He would be someone every young child in Hawaii could look up to wearing the colors of the home team University of Hawaii. I now it a very big long shot but this is the kind of shot all of us need going in a new year. Here’s to dreaming the big dream going into 2009. Bring on the new year.
Oh and Kekoa you got mail.
No track team here for USC reserve center to participate in.
speaking of him, Barry hasn’t been here for a long time.
Brew-
Kelly’s Heroes playin’ on AMC.
Too funny!
USC football do not know who Joe Biden is. Check out this video. Even Abe Markowitz does not know who he is, kind of pathetic
http://usc.fandome.com/video/108035/USC-Players-Are-Not-Smart/?q=k
Nice story about Colt.
A great year with all the Tsaikos. From Nola to Halawa; the Sugar Bowl to the Hawaii Bowl – indeed an eventful year.
Thanks to ST for keeping it all here, keeping it all real, keeping it all up-to-date. π
Looking forward to the New Year with a little trepidation; talk of a rough year coming for Hawaii, the nation and the world π
Being able to share it with the folks here definitely makes it seem a little less foreboding.
HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL!
π
jason you more picky then me. anyway, i don’t know how make that fancy kine stuffs.
um ralph, what’s your point?
and what’s a “peeks”?
okay back to the ozoni.
Colt, you da best man! Happy New Year!!
Coming up on midnight of the East Coast…
Happy New Year East Coast Tsai-kos!
HAPPY, HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!!! TSAIKOS !!! MAY 2009 BRING YOU ALL THE BEST !!!
12 : 00 am, 2009, From Clearwater, Florida.
And good by to a Frankenstein 2008…….
my point Al is if you need to operate the athletic depart like JD does he has to have products that sell, getting paying fans, to do so I think the fans would want a venue be it bb, fb, etc, that is entertaining and make them want to watch the event in person. There are a lot of UH fans who do not go to the event as paying customers, they rather listen to it on radio and if the game isn’t entertaining they tune out. But if the competition is good or at least attractive, example, Norte Dame football with a 6-6 record, they will come out to the event and many more will view on TV generating tv revenue…
under 6K viewed the game vs GW at the SSC…UH did not post the attendance for the Pepperdine and championship game…attendance Al is for the entire day of the tournament featuring several games…MBB needs a boost to make people come out to watch and not just because they are fans because a lot of us can be fans at home cheering them on
Good Evening
My favorite local sport’s story of 2008 is the Wapio Little League team winning the Championship. The other stories might have a bigger impact in drawing interest, but after while of reading about JJ leaving, HF being fired and the Warriors getting beat in the Sugar Bowl it gets old. What the boys did by winning touched off a whole avalanche of tears because I was so happy for them. Of all the 2008 local stories this one touches my heart and it had what the others didn’t have–a happy ending. For me I was in traffic that Saturday morning and I’ll never forget when the last out was recorded and the radio announcer describing the pandemonium in the Wapio dugout. It was so definitely a feel good local moment. And it was evident that other motorist driving nearby were tooting their horns in celebration, too. Fifty years from now nobody will remember or care about JJ leaving, and certainly not care about the HF firing, and presumably some will remember the Sugar Bowl but what these boys did on the National/World stage in front of a world wide audience and being tops, number 1, out all the tens of thousands of teams out there this is truly remarkable… it speaks volumes of the Wapio Team–being acclaimed as champions. The other stories leave their footprints, the Wapio story tugs at my heart.
Good evening Tsai-kos!!
Happy New Year to all on the Mainland and other overseas areas!
Interesting day. Ran around town – car registration payment, Costco, Circuit City, dinner @ Anna Millers, visit to sis’ house to say Happy New Year and then to drool over Keanu Reeve (“Day the Earth Stood Still”) at Windward Mall. Around 9pm, the fire alarm goes off in the theater and we all leave. False alarm, so we go back in, they start up the movie, alarm goes off again. Happened about 10 times. Sometimes, the pix would start with the “radio” you get before the lights go down. We gave up after 15 mins and went home.
Happy New Year Tsaikos everywhere. Had a great evening with family and friends. good food, fellowship, laughs. looking forward to 09 and the promises of a brighter tomorrow.
Only two “accidents” so far – one barf and one poopie – but we’re over an hour away from the Big Time Boom.
Don’t have the official attendance figures in front of me, but yesterday the Stan Sheriff Center probably had close to 5,000 people with another 3,000 pre-sold tickets for the 5th place contest.
Of course, the latter purchasers don’t buy stuff at the concession stands which generates a nice chunk of change money for the Athletic Department through vendor fees. Wonder how many bought the PPV?
Following the UH game about 80% left even though the championship game was coming up. For a market with no professional sports teams, fans here are not very fanatic.
Made a horrendous mistake at Starbucks earlier today by ordering one of their specialty Fraps identifed as a Light Drink. Thought it was light because of it was made with non-fat milk but it turns out that instead of sugar they made it with a man-made artifical sweetener. Spent the next several hours galloping back and forth to the batruum – finally called the store and found out what was in the drink.
Am still feeling really junk. Had to skip a real dinner and eat a piece of bread to help soak up the stuff in my system.
And, no, that is not my effluvia described above.
Happy New Year everyone. Will have the details of the contest we’re sponsoring up within the next 30 hours or so. It does involved attending home regular season games from January 2 through the end of baseball season. Here are the scheduled games through next Monday night:
Women’s Basketball: UH v.Pepperdine, 3 pm Friday, January 2; Pepperdine v Colorado, 3 pm Saturday January 3; Colorado, 5 pm, Sunday, January 4.
They then go on the road: January 8 – Fresno; January 10 – San Jose State; January 12 – Boise State.
Men’s Basketball: Boise State, 7:05 pm Saturday, January 3; LaTech, 7:05, Monday, January 5.
They then go on the road: Idaho, January 8; Boise State, January 10.
Men’s Volleyball: Outrigger Hotels Invitational, Thursday, January 8 – 10. More details next week.
.Have to go calm down Saturn The Dog who has just gone ballistic (pun intended) over the artillery assault on Enchanted Lake.
Maybe I should take him for a ride in Saturn The Car one of these days – except I don’t know anyone who owns one.
jm2375 — I concur. Looking back, it was not just about breaking a record… it was about burying a record that was set on a very sad and disturbing day (news that JJ was going to SMU).
It was fitting that record be overshadowed as we end this roller coaster year and clear the decks for 2009. Much kudos to whitey who started it, brew808, LizKauai and las vegas (in several forms)… no wonder they are Tsai-ko Chapter Presidents … π
SteveM – Happy New Year to you and all posters and lurkers! May 2009 be a great year for all of you personally and for UH and the world.
I’m personally grateful that all in my family are healthy and still gainfully employed and looking like that’s pretty secure for the near future. Looking forward to my sister’s wedding in March and family cruise in June.
the countdown continues….
koakane,
was that your explosions that were setting off the car alarms in my neighborhood?
speaking of neighbors, the one on the corner put up a show that would’ve rivaled Disney’s…
oh yeah, Happy ’09 to all of you. i know its an hour late, but gotta clean up and then wish all the neighbors happy new year. gotta take the traditional shot of whatever with him. then gotta shower and get all the gunpowder out of your hair. then gotta wake up in the morning to see what you missed cleaning up the night before. all just in time to sit on the couch and watch football all day long.
ah, new years. oh yeah, somehow gotta think of resolutions and ways to somehow keep them.
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL THE TSAIKOS AND LURKERS OUT THERE!!!!!!!!!
what happened to the HA spam filter…..
there needs to be a stupidity filter too.
The pounding rains really put a damper on the neighbors’ fireworks – harharhar. No need to hose down the roofs tonight!!
Since midnight, the thunder and lightning gods have been showing their DISpleasure. Thenguveddymuch.
Niteall – lots of grunge work to do over the next four days clearing out STUFF accumulated over the past three decades. Hope to be able to eat something later on today, but it’s too early to tell if my estomago can handle anyhthing besides weak tea. Curses on you, Starbucks. What a terrible way to start the New Year.
Happy New Year from Pearl City Highlands! Had to clean up all the red paper before the rains come. π
