Congrats graduates!!! Life is short. You’ve made this alum proud.

  8. Brad May 17, 2014 9:50 am

Congrats! C/o 2014. Now off the subject is UH going to look at former BYU and Kansas QB Jake Heaps to transfer. If he grad this semester he has one year left. I know he wasn’t successful in his college career so far but he has experience playing big 12 teams and could end up being how Schroeder was in his final year. Schroeder just needed D1 experience and it showed late in the season. Chow needs experience now to have a chance to win or he will be out at the end of the season.

  9. boolakanaka May 17, 2014 9:51 am

  32. NotNasti May 17, 2014 2:14 pm

  40. SteveM May 17, 2014 3:33 pm

as i read and pick up on the subliminal messages…i would to know “who” threw him under the bus.
sounds like a non-academic issue thats preventing him from receiving his degree.

What is the BJ revelation on the NCAA Investigation on KHON news? Sounds like we better prepare for the worse.

  48. 3-Prong May 17, 2014 8:26 pm

Looks like Kolton went 2 for 4 with a stolen base.

  49. Old School Dave May 17, 2014 8:28 pm

NCAA grants waiver so homeless football recruit can go on scholarship early.

  50. Brother Mike May 17, 2014 8:51 pm

Congrats to all the grads! I had Ben Dew in my ENG 100 class when he was a freshman. He and Blake Muir were great students. And they had great attendance thanks to the watchdogs in the athletic department.

  51. Darren May 17, 2014 8:51 pm

A-House sir…it was not I that made the bet with al. Like al, if I do bet, I tend to go in positive outcome direction for UH.

  52. Darren May 17, 2014 8:57 pm

Really happy for a guy like Desmond Dean…someone who really stuck it out, and comes away with the all impotant college degree. Congrats to all student athlete grads…it’s truly a remarkable accomplishment!

  53. d1shima May 17, 2014 9:20 pm

    Congratulations again.

    #48 BOWWAR:

“Amid current media speculation, the University of Hawai’i at Manoa Department of Athletics acknowledges that there is an ongoing NCAA investigation of potential rules violations. As a member institution of the NCAA, we have an obligation to monitor and control our athletics program, a duty to report all instances of noncompliance with NCAA rules and cooperate fully with and assist the NCAA enforcement staff. Our responsibility also requires that our institutional representatives and student–athletes protect the integrity of the investigation. Under NCAA enforcement rules, a failure to cooperate could lead to an independent allegation and/or be considered by the NCAA as a factor when determining potential penalties.

In light of the ongoing investigation and our obligation to state and Federal laws, we are not able to discuss or share information about the investigation. Our Department considers any alleged violation of NCAA rules to be a serious matter and we have, and will continue to, fully cooperate with the NCAA staff in this matter.”

We can always speculate – either that or some subliminal message will be found in the release. 🙂

  56. midnight May 17, 2014 11:00 pm

    Guud Morning Tsaikos…bootiful day.

Congratulations to all the graduates!…dat palapala will come in handy.

troubling that “new violations” have been uncovered..per Jahmai. some boosters involved also…???

  59. NorthShoreFan May 18, 2014 6:27 am

..then again, there’s violations at EVERY college athletic program. Rules for boosters are kind of nutz, but necessary.

  60. kapakahi May 18, 2014 8:15 am

    #54,
