Hawaii and Kiffen started a tradition of poor USC showings on opening games. Washington is 1-1 USC with Sarkasian as HC (former USC OC) against Kiffen (plus the 2009 win with Carroll as USC HC).
recent USC Opening games …
2012 – Hawaii; USC – HC Kiffen, OC Polamalu, DC Orgeron
2011 – Minnesota W 19-17; USC – HC Kiffen, OC Polamalu, DC M Kiffin
2010 – at Hawaii W 49-36; USC – HC Kiffen, OC Polamalu, DC Orgeron
2009 – San Jose St W 56-3; USC – HC Carroll, OC Morton, DC Seto
2008 – at Virginia W 52-7; USC – HC Carroll, OC Sarkisian, DC Holt
2007 – Idaho W 38-10; USC – HC Carroll, OC Sarkisian, DC Holt

Good morning everyone!

GO WARRIORS !!!
the ferari against the station wagon …nuff said…theirs no shocking nuthing.
Gotta dream bigger Manoa#1
If you haven’t read this article “The Perversion Of Scholarship”… it will help kill the hours till game time. Pretty much sums up why University Admins might have a disdain for the Athletic Department and why places like UH would have an uphill battle trying to get to the “next level” because the ‘next level’ could well undermine the power that the University President and BOR members currently enjoy.
http://www.truthdig.com/report/item/the_perversion_of_scholarship_20120730//
Oh yeah.. the bit about Paterno on the second page of the article casts another dark shadow on the man.
Heavy armored vehicle!

We might have a 1 in 10 or a 1 in 1,000,000 chance to win the game. Odds are against us but there is always that ONE chance that it will occur. Make it happen today!

TomMui – scheduling didn’t allow us to make it for the USC game but we will be going to the Cowboys at NY Giants game on Wednesday
Win or lose, Warriors are already winners with a slogan of “ALWAYS READY” – this may not translate into a win today, but as individuals who will eventually go out into the world “always ready” to handle any task presented to them be it work, family, friends or future supporters for UH.
Do your best today and if that was not good enough hold thy head up high as you gave it your best shot! Your family and friends will be proud!

This could be that turning point; that landmark moment many of us have been waiting for. I’ve chugged the Kool-Aid. Go Warriors! Shock da Coliseum…Shock da World!!
Per Adam Schefter, ESPN — WR Greg Salas traded to Patriots for a “late round” 2013 draft pick… Go Warriors!
Man if its not exciting to see our warriors singing and getting pumped up by the marching band? I don’t know what is. There is a different type of excitement with this team. A different type of motivation. Look to see our warriors take the win tonight.
GO WARRIORS!!!
…”late round” 2015 draft pick, not 2013…
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EWM4icpdcOE
Our TEAM going bring da THUNDER!!!!
hmmmmm….
I was wondering why Salas was not getting more looks in the Thursday game. Now we know, he was on Belichick’s radar. We’ll see more of him now!

LETS GO WARRIORS!!!
CHEE HUU!!!
whoooooooooosh!
#122 you forgot the katooosh!
Neveda 21 Cal 7 yea?
Nevada is moving that ball against Cal like they are playing NMSU.
Rolo and Ault’s Pistol looks like a scary combination.
Whoah… spoke too soon.. Cal runs one is from 40 yards out.. double reverse…
21-14 Nevada up by one TD.
🙂 who’d a thunk Cal would resort to a Double reverse against an MWC team?
Yikes… CAL recovers a Nevada fumble on the kick off… and find themselves on Nevada’s 27!… chance to tie it all!
Nevada might lose this on defense and special teams errors…
21-17…. Nevada up by 4 pts… Bears answer back with a TD and FG against Nevada’s TD in the third Qtr…
IN case your wondering.. I’m warming up for this afternoon’s game. 😉
😆
😆
Alright brothers, here we go.
Bring it.
BIK
ARE
YOU
READY!?!?!
Always READY!!!
Did I get it right?
🙂
B(i)GSU…
Whoah.. big turnover by Cal… Cal knocking on the door again gets stripped of the ball and Nevada recovers.
Don’t know how many of you Twitter (Hi, D1, Stretch, Jojo), but there’s been a number of tweets by former UH athletes about this game including Rodney Bradley, Bill Amis, Vinnie Catricala, and Lenny Linsky. Really cool to see.
TD Falcons!
I just saw da BOwling Green runnah give the Fla.
Crowd da Jaws action.
Saa-weeeet!
WM,
Are they using a hashtag? #uhfb. maybe?
BHF2,
As long as it no cost ’em on the KO. 🙄
24-17 Nevada manages to get a FG in the 4th to take a 1 TD lead.
Always Ready!
Oh man! “Puntah Chockage” might cost B(i)GSU in da Swamp.
Yahoo.. CAL knocking in the 20’s again… Chance to tie or go ahead.
TD CAL…. 24 – 23… does Cal go for 1 or 2?
Cannot be tentative
All gotta be on Coach Chow and Coach Kaumeyer.
I’m loving it!
“Chokeage”
game TIED…. half a quarter left to play…
Re #147
No, actually not, but I just re-tweeted, Never did that before.
Bowling Green gives me confidence for us, except fo da shanks
Nevada should have caught the punt…
Turnovers, that’s gonna be the key, Aggression!0
BF2 going to the alibi and pick up my bets.
I think this is one of the most vital info for me. And i am happy reading your article. However should commentary on few common issues, The website taste is ideal, the articles is in reality excellent : D. Good activity, cheers
Warriors gotta play hard.
Fans gotta pray hard.
GO WARRIORS!!!
36 seconds, Nevada score td
Nevada gets the go ahead TD with 36 seconds to play…
Who was supposed to win this game, anyway?
Nevada intercept lateral kickoff fancy trick return by Cal!
But Nevada was offside…sure, Refs, we believe you…
CO St. was going to try onside kick against CO right after the Rams scored their go-ahead TD. Got called for a delay of game. File that one away…
16-14 CO St. up right now.
LOL… what looked like a weird TD for Nevada on the kick off when CAL blew some trick play … is nullified because Nevada was off sides on the kick off… CAL won’t pull the same stunt again.
Maryland v. William & Mary Final score: 7-6…Must have been an exciting game.
UNC v. Elon Final score: 62-0…Ouch.
so did Nevada win???
Longest 12 seconds… 😉
GG….
Review
Maybe one more play…. a hail mary..
Fumble confirmed… Nevada’s possession… game over! Nevada wins..
Chow’s offense vs. Rolo’s offense. Can’t wait to see it.
That was a good game.. a nice little upset… Now it’s our WARRIORS turn!!!
MIH. what’s the score?
Time to make lunch … and get READY!
Nevada recovers long pass funble to win, Gigi…
31 Nevada 24 Cal
Thanks, Ipu. Congrats, Rolo!!!
Now, the announcers are blaming Cal’s lost on Nevada’s pistol, like it was
an illegal or “system” freak of nature. Sure…
Just about one more hour until kickoff!
I think Rolo called a good game. Caught CAL off guard and the pace of the play calling gassed CAL.
Nevada beat Cal last year, too…
btw, was Rolo upstairs or on the field. Could not see him…
No matter what happens in the USC/Hawaii game I think Sean Schroeder will be outstanding. I love the name of new basketball player Manroop Clair. A reincarnation pf Pistol Pete Maravich? I heard Manroop could hit from 30 feet away. I can just hear the Stanley crowd screaming “Roop, roop, roop.” It’s all good for Bow fans.
Awesome tailgate party.
The Hadden family came out in force.
Saw Gary Allen, Anthony Edgar, Wilbert Haslip, David Toloumu, Jerry Scanlan and Jeff Duva.
We did not mention the ’78 game.
Ipu Man…
I dunno.. didn’t see him either. … probably upstairs…..
Dan Kelly also was there.
He is engaged to Kelly, so yes, she will be Kelly Kelly.
LizKauai. Richxxxx. Tom-w. Represent!
We BELIEVE!
This is a Fox game, so make sure to add more time to the DVR.
Fox doesn’t do short sportscasts.
Rich2176 was by the stage. He won an autographed football.
I was happy for Rolo. I was lead to believe Chris Ault hired Rolo to run the run and shoot. Norm Chow just might have the answers how to defeat USC for the first time. The genius may know the right answers.
Go Warriors! Make the Trojans run out of gas!!!
Crowd just had a loud roar as Matt Barkley was announced on the really, really wide video screen.
Is anyone else getting this BS Nats baseball game on fox right now… 9-9 top 9th… This is pissing me off…. Is it just on the East Coast?
Happy Game Day, Warrior Nation!
Game almost on!
cheehuu!!
CC!
Wow!
Gary Allen!
Are…
You…
READY!!!???!!!
The Kelly Song!
My fa’rit from Cheers!
Always Ready!!!
go Warriors!!!
Haven’t seen Lamar Dawson.
But have seen Matt Barkley.
Always Ready!
Except when Fox is showing a freaking baseball game…
DPK,
Kinda small, ah, your….uhh…go? 😆 😉 😛
So far, the FOX pre-game showed one Hawaii football player running vs. USC’s many runnings, throwings, oh, and their sword-wielding mascot, and fawning over these two fools Eddie George (yeah, a Grease know who he is or is supposed to be) and ex-Oregon Hamilton instead.
No mention of Chow, yet. Thanks for your pro-Calif’ sensibilities, FOX sports.
Our “H” logo is better than USC’s.
Oh. Great. They’re now mentioning Penn State. Stay on game topic, lady and men. Mentioned TWICE, oh, booo hooo Penn State, please lose every single game this season (they got the players to do just that).
Get offensive in the cheerings today, Hawaii fans.
Fox will focus on SC all game long. They ARE the story. Until…..Drum Roll…UH Shocks Da World!
I’m a Nats fan…but I want this one over!
Oh, man. What in HECK is this Matt Barkley fawning ons — they showed a statue of the Virgin Mary while he talked his talk? (oh, “this is why I stayed” boo hoooo). And what’s this rhyming coach?
No similar vignette for Hawaii (of course) on this pre-game..
STICK IT TO THE TROJANS TODAY COACH CHOW!!!!!!!
Any estimates on how many Warriors fans are in attendance?
Finally… Sheesh…
PAC-12 0-2 today against the MWC today, so far. Bet that doesn’t get mentioned at all by the announcers.
209. Agree. More time spent on the design of the new Fox set than Hawaii. Even the UPS product placement took longer than the use of the word “warriors” 3x and “chow” once.
Thank goodness, pregame finally over. We see the Trijans take the files, but what about Hawaii? Any idea where the game callers will be any less cloying?
No.
Noooooooooo!!!!!!
GUS JOHNSON IS ANNOUNCING!?!?! Get ready for bloviating and over-enthusiastic yelling instead of announcing.
FINALLY A GLIMPSE OF HAWAII WARRIORS COMING OUT OF THE TUNNEL. THE HA’A, THE HA’A, THE HA’A . . . and, of course, FOX goes to commercial.
Sorry, autocorrect. Go, team!!!
Heh, at least you managed to HEAR Chow’s name; a Grease missed that!
KICKOFF . . oh. Touchback.
Yikes.
Speed killed!
um so much for that
Darn.
C’mon Hawaii ditto that TD back!
Stiff upper lip!
Ah. First TD.
Dear Lord,
Please let this game not be Sugar Bowl, part II
Love,
Grease
Coach Chow looks mighty cool. Chess player-like, in glasse and black wear. Do this, Coach Chow!
So far a joke
You can do it, yes you can.
first down!
Chris gant sighting!… Slow and steady folks…
231. knew he’d start. our best WR
UH coaching staff needed (hope they absolutely DRILLED it into the Warriors) that USC starts this season out for blood. Somebody fax that to the UH sideline, please?
Wow!!!!! A Gus Johnson actually mentioned “iosefa.”
Run em into da ground
So… anyone else think it’s funny that Fox Sports thinks that only USC is playing this game?
Come on Warriors!
who needs dunnachie? we can do rugby kick all year.. gives us a chance to even pick up 1st downs if harding sees opening
Come on Warriors!
Yeah rip s!!!!!!!!!
Yesssssss
Nice tackle, and getting props even tho the announcers are mangling the name.
Thank God for commercial breaks.
* * * WARRIOR FANS!!!!!! SERIOUSLY — DO POSITIVE THOUGHtS!!!! HAWAII DEFENSE STOPPING USC BEFORE THE 50! SACK QB BARKLEY!!! HAWEAII RUNNING BALL ALL THE WQAY TO END ZONE AT THE NEXT SC KICKOFF TO WARRIORS!!! UH QB CONNECTING ON MANY PLAYS!!!! POSITIVE THINKING!!!!! DO IT NOW!!! * * *
Battleship comes out on DVD next week?!?! Already!?!?
Mike Edwards! Nice play!
Nice play Tony Grimes!
yee!!!
Yes Warriors!!!!!!
Go get em Sean! Kanal!
Hmmm 241 maybe the green gecko is bringing us luck.
Kanai=connect
Listening to radio broadcast with Fox muted … don’t think I am missing anything. Go Warriors!
Harding!
Nice to see USC hafta punt.
Wildcat.
Ugh.
Beaujtiful Aussie punt by UH to USC goal line.
1 yard line!
can i say it again? Harding for punter all year! haha
Use the positive thoughts also:
1. Trojans over-confidence.
2. Trojans mistakes
3. Key UH players snapping nicely into the zone.
4. UH players finding quickness they never thought they had.
5. UH defense finding reserve strength, pummel through the front, SACK THE TROJAN OUT OF BARKLEY, MAKE HIM WOOZY!!!!!
6. FALL OF TOY, FALL OF TROY, FALL OF TROY, IMAGINE TROY BEING SACKED AND CONQUERED, FALLING INTO THE OCEAN!!!!!
Direct these thoughts toward California!!!!!! GAME NOT OVER, GAME JUST STARTED!!!!!!
50 yard punt!!!!! One 1 yard line, yeah!!!!!!!
Good time for the D to get serious.
Tough choice for the receiving team…pick up a bouncing ball and chance fumble or let it roll to the 1. Not bad!
GEEEEEEV-UM WARRIORS!!!!!!
…last time the ref let it go due to the USC guy pushing off beforehand.
replay! it hit the grass.
Hope USC keeps up its penalty tradition.
Catching a pass while laying down? New rules or what?
The Rubbaz look mortal!
Nice to see Refs calling dinky penalties.
Hope they remember to do that for UH, too.
When is the last time you did not see a defensive back touch the receiver?
Positive thoughts, UH fans — I mean, in addition to the TD, shouldn’t USC have intercepted and scored another TD!?!? Yes, they should have.
* * * POSITIVE THOUGHTS!!!!!! LET’S HELP THESE WARRIORS CONQUER THE . . . uh . . . CONQUERERS * * * DIRECT THESE THOUGHTS TOWARD CALIFORNIA.
Warriors holding ’em!!!
Tony Grimes is going to have a long day trying to cover that guy.
Come on Warrior
That’s wat I want, the ‘Quan!
Hope the guys are are gettimg as much water as they can during the tv breaks. Looks hot.
OL lien fr that pne
Offensive!!!!!!!!Pushing offfffffff!!!
Offensive!!!!!!!!Pushing offfffffff!!!
Sorry. Lurn frum dat 1
Despite the score, I think the Warriors are playing better than the world expected.
I like UH agressiveness.
Mike Edwards is a beast…. Will, let him catch the ball this time…
Lee is freaking ridiculous…
When Warriors denfense is good — in this game -i it’s GREAT!!!!! Hope the D coaches are focusing!!!!!!
“They’re not playing scared out there” about UH Warriors!!! You d#mn right.
TD Trojans.
Still early. Still early.
IF YOU’RE NOT DOING POSITIVE THOUGHTS, WARRIOR FANS, START DOING ‘EM. NOW!!!! NO NEED DROP WHAT YOU’RE DOING, OK?! SERIOUSLY!!!! JUST CONTINUE EATING YOUR RIBS, OR GRILLING, OR WHATEVER AND INCORPORATE THE POSITIVE THOUGHTS RIGHT NOW!!!!
Right on, Green Thumb!!!!
Nice return, Mr. Edwards!
Yeah, I was disappointed too that wasn’t Erin Andrews’ okole.
2nd the motion, right on sports for fun.
Need some Norm Chow magic!!!!!!
POSITIVE THOUGHTS, SPREAD THE WORD!!!!!!
OK announcers saying Kiffin worried about depth of D line. Let’s thin positive and wear them out. Hook, nice 2 plays by our D in a row!
Yesssssssssss!!!!!!!!!
YEAH!!!!
Way to go Kamalani!
Come on!
If you can only manage ONE positive thought:
SACK
MATT
BARKLEY
LEAD THE CHANT WHEREVER YOU ARE RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!
No interference?!
Take the good with the bad and brush it off. Next play.
Our guys aren’t catching like they used to… in and out of the hands… not a good sign.
289. no PI on tipped ball
USC can’t convert two point try, thataway UH special team. Good job!
Thank Kiffin, maybe?. I think going and failing for 2 will keep us fired up.
Ummmmm INTERFERENCE!!!!!!
jeezy, don’t think it was tipped at the line. The ‘tip drill’ comment was after the ball hit our guy.
Oh well.
Yeh. Next play.
Look guys, I need 42 points…Geev um.
You can SEE some of these positive thoughts working (i.e., Warrior interception just now i- which, admittedly, was not capitalized on) . . . that means only SOME of us are POSITIVE THINKING.
So, spread the word, and let’s ALL think positively, Warrior fans:
“SACK
MATT
BARKLEY”
“NORM
CHOW
MAGIC
NOW AND THROUGHOUT THE REST OF THIS GAME”
Nominate a chant leader — and lead the chant at your house, watering hole, garage, wherever you are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Have a nice rest of the game on the bench #10.
Finally the sun is not in their eyes. Come on evening!
Nice job Coach!
But yikes!
*sigh*
I know they throw it a lot these days in the pro-set offence in the NFL, but we sure aren’t running much at all.
The wildcat isn’t working. How about more hand-offs?
Note to all Safeties:
If the Coach wanted you to catch the ball…
Lay sum hat!
Well, now USC will have the sun directly in their eyes…
Maybe we need a scrambling QB for the rest of this game?
Let’s run that clock down. Haha
Wow that first quarter was harsh…
Oh my…….
duck
Yikes… knew that was coming as soon as they lined up… kind of disappointed that our Defense couldn’t stop that run up the middle.
Save for throwing into heavy traffic, I think Schroder has performed moderately well.
We had ’em at 3rd and nine…
I still believe in our guys.
No quit Warriors.
296… check the replay…. linemen got piece of it
Still can.
1st downs…need 1st downs
We knew this was going to be a butt whooping playing #1 USC, we can’t blame the Refs for Hawaii playing slow and sloppy in their first game in a new Offense and Defense systems. Chock this one up to learning to the new playbook. Schroeder looks good, Edwards is a Beast! The O-Line and rest of the team needs to get it in gear or this is going to be a long season!
wow the time is off on this blog
Way to go defence!
Is #33 John hardy tuliau injured.?
So far, would you rate USC a #1 type team? UH doesn’t look That bad, and this is a great experience for us.
Composure!
Here we go!
Nice pass. Nice fake out for the down!
McKayla is not impressed. 🙂
stutz still can’t break a tackle.. nice catch tho
Writing the rules as we go…protect #1 👿
Doesn’t look like Tony Grimes is ready for prime time
ticky-tack rule…
The Pac10 rule book … for sale after the game. 🙂
Nice to make shit up as they go. Next we gonna get called for being too ethnically diverse.
I think this UH team is more resilient than past years.
Heh. Immensely.
Warrior fans, we are also thinking ’bout the following right now (tell a Grease if he’s wrong):
1) Hopeful for a huge UH comeback.
2) Making mental note to look forward to the games (yes, plural) in the season where USC will be dirshed and defeated, and then you — we all will — have a great laugh at the # 1 college football team in the countryks booo hoo’g.
But, keep on that positive thinking: WARRIORS!!!!! WIN TODAY’S GAME!!!!!, use this fans!!!!!!!
Why doesn’t Fox show replays?! That last one call was questionable.
Too many pordagees on the field! 15 yards!
What?! Hes Okinawan? Half Thr distance!
ticky-tack call…
incomplete pass … uh defenders too far to throw a flag
Naquan!
Ne’quan! 🙂
Good test!
Stout!
Turn it around….RIGHT NOW!
Sorry I can’t spell
Keep winning little battles! Don’t believe Kefe’n is challenging this.
Fox is showing some ‘spect for UH.
Ne’Quan!!
Time for anuddah QB. Give Higgins a chance Jeremy or Ikaika a chance.
USC getting off on da kicks
Uncatchable!
On the bright side I think Barkley is taken out after the half.
Hontoo ni. Still cannot/am laughing still at that prissy Matt Barkley video in the FOX pregame (juxtaposed a white statue of the Virgin Mary to boot; didn’t know they still allowed her on Calif’ college campuses any more), him talking all like he’s an Olympian, “we had many challenges” (yeah, uh huh), FOX going, making him look like fil star or something. He ain’t going get that Heisman, they go find something on him + hard to get Heisman when USC going lose a few games this season.
I hope that ref remembers that when watching the USC dbs.
we are just as good as michigan 🙂
cavewarrior,
By comparative scores you may be right because ‘Bama is certainly as good, if not better than SC!
Nice yac for Miah.
We are fixable at half time!
At least their d4mned band left! 👿
Rebuilding year. It’s gonna be OK
i think defense will get stronger and be a force this season…despite penalities, i like the aggressive play on the corners.
offensive line i think is teetering with confidence. they need to develop and be confident and this is the game that will help that if they play as a possessed unit.
i like harding’s kicks…yes it’s short but it opens p possibilities.
overall, if i look at the score, yes, its disappointing. but if i look at individual play, unit play…i can see the product being built.
the team will gel and coach chow is the emulsifier. this is WIP…work in progress.
C’mon boys the Bark needs a lickin’.
Moocher. Agreed. It will be interesting to see the half time adjustments and how Chow can motivate. We are not that far off from USC in strength. Slower yes, but pound for pound, I’d pick our guyz anyday.
We got more penalty yards than offense it seems
time to put in milovale for shigematsu…. getting abused
Lane Kiffen out of challenges, but funny, he has challenged at least two calls
despite that…
Ouch.
So much for USC’s D-line being their possible weakness.
Looks like Warriors are playing USC and the officiating crew.
moocher,
CB’s will not face a combination like Lee/Woods again…they going be alright.
Now we got ’em. USC gonna let their guard down next half over confident.
Okay, regroup!
Go Warriors!
Eh, if they can score 35 in one half…..
Schroeder looking pretty good but huffing and puffing a bit.
He’s seen more playing time than he did at Duke.
wow, first game and the whiners come out ….
Grown accustomed to big plays of the spread offense over the years. Result is this offense takes some getting used to – kinda like watching the weeds in my pasture.
Eh…UH will return the 2nd half opening kickoff for a quick td…
And the defense will return another one soon after…
And UH offense will score two more…
And defense one more.
That’s 5 as in Hawaii 5-0…
5×7 = 35
Schroeder’s okay… keeps his calm… but the plays aren’t coming. some of his ball are short or behind the receiver… got to fix that.
coach needs to tell them ok the reality is for us to win, it will be hard…but we knew that coming in. The main thing is to play better then you did the play before.
this is not “one snap and clear”….this is “next snap is my snap”
if that mentality seeps in this team will be tough all around and i think this is something that must set in now at the half. they played a half, they know their shortfalls, toughen up the mind and the body will follow.
wowlaulau…who you accusing? I’m not complaining nor whining. I’m
trying to build confidence in overwhelming odds.
Rebuilding year. All will be well.
The great thing about our coach is his d cac demeanor. No scared coach.
Hope coach runs up the score on these ;)/holes next year at OUR house. I also hope we go for two after each score as well. No class Kiffin.
Warriors are playing hard, which is encouraging. USC is just a physically superior team. Those two receivers are future NFL 1st round picks. Nothing to be ashamed of. Agree, that Schroeder has never seen this much palying time since high school.
I been saying its rebuilding from the beginning and new system. I am not unhappy at all..
I see some positives…
Muir looks pretty solid besides the last whiff b4 the half.
Beau Yap keeps getting penetration. A lot more than any other linemen.
Nequan is super aggressive.. love it.
Need to recruit our team some weapons on offense though.
This is the kind of game ….if it doesn’t kill you, it’ll make you stronger.
Hope the D has some gas left in the tank for the 2nd half. The O is still a work in progress.
All fans were expecting miracles but its not going to happen. Perhaps a more respectable 2nd half against the subs. QB Schroeder has a slow release and a bit slow on decision making and not very mobile. What happened to the rush? Iosefa hasn’t seen much nor has Will Gregory. Maybe they know they can’t run? D looks better than the O. Weakness is in the secondary where USC receivers are superior. Judging other teams on opening day, UH doesn’t look as sharp. Play calling kinda of questionable also but maybe too used to the run and shoot. Higgins should see some playing time because Schroeder is taking a beating.
Share your positive thoughts for the Warriors today! Please!!!!
And if USC ends up winning today, get your USC jokes ready.
Forgot to comment that UH receivers weren’t catching the ball earlier on. The big question is when will the Warriors score?
one punchline would be … they go for 2 … not sure of the joke yet
no usc jokes from me….i respect the team, the talent, and they will make us better. why sling mud by making jokes about them?
This is the kind of positivity that is needed. Thank you, Ipu Man.
Coach Kiffen explained to tv reporter that he was not trying to run up
the score going for 2 points always, but that his kicker was lame…
thanx cg…
what happened to running the ball to set up the pass?? -4 rushing
Half time. Made it through the half. USC 0-3 on PATs. Gave up big plays, but holding our own in the trench. Schroeder has to pull the trigger quicker. See, commit & execute. OL need to fire off the line and stay square. Good job on STs. We can do this. We took away the ball and can do it again. Need to score on opening drive and stop on first SC possession.
So who kicked the FG as time ran out? 👿
Tired of hearing about PSU and how they are working hard to overcome their situation.

What does Scott Harding not do?
Yahooooooooooooooooooooo!
Thank you for another news article. Im really excited I was able to find this article, since so many of the blogs Ive been reading have misleading info.
yea!!
Nice TD! Now 3 and out. “Win the little battles!”
Yay!!!!
…and against the Trojans number one defense.
Coaches need to recruit rugby players.
Go coaches!
Wish Chow had gone for two. Isn’t Kiffen 0 for 3.
Scott Harding is the new Chuck Norris.
Very Special Teams.
Dang it.
SC sealed off and the kid is a burner! Well, we do get the ball back…
And on a diffrrent note, Hawaii Boy in the White House brews his own.
“Inspired by home brewers from across the country, last year President Obama bought a home brewing kit for the kitchen,” Kass writes. “After the few first drafts we landed on some great recipes that came from a local brew shop. We received some tips from a couple of home brewers who work in the White House who helped us amend it and make it our own.”
OK back to the game. GEEEEEEV-UM WARRIORS. One more time!
Alabama held Michigan scoreless up until like 2 minutes and change to play,(31-0) up to that point. Michigan had only 22 yds. offense till late in the 2nd quarter; what’s that, number 2Alabama playing number 8Michigan?….so UH not playing all that bad.
I’m sitting here and see some good things with UH and frankly, what better way to improve than playing against #1??…I’m just hoping we can score atleast once though.
At least there’ll be a lot to learn from the game film.
The Warriors have shown flashes of brilliance but USC’s talent along with the growing pains of a new scheme for the Warriors have led to what we have seen thus far.
meant, 2 minutes before the half that is.
Schroeder has the guts for this offense. Stands tall in the pocket and takes the licks.
Block Joey Block!
10-7 2nd half
Good FG! Improvement over 2011.
ten points thus far is a good thing….no mo goose egg.
Nice adjustments for UH. The D is rested. Let’s see what they changed from the first half.
Schroder has been good despite the pressure he has faced.
One thing he can improve is his mobility in the pocket. There have been a few sacks that could have been avoided by sidestepping or stepping up.
Nice FG!
Okay, I’m back. What’d I miss?
For sure, Schroeder is one tough son-of-a-gun.
Definitely earned and deserves respect.
Schroeder is getting what he wanted. Play time. He’s learning. He’ll be fine if we can protect him. Fox is impressed.
OL will play for their Bruddah!
Coach Chow: Sean, they going keep kickin’ your a$$ in the 2nd half, you might as well make the throws anyway.
So far: Message received!
gotta say that was a nice catch
Looks like Barkley getting upset with his team mates.
Hawaii won!
….the quarter. 🙂

Coach Chow: Sean, they going keep kickin’ your a$$ in the 2nd half, you might as well make the throws anyway.
So far: Message received!
To Quote: Rolo…Bumbai he learn.
And I think USC now has more penalties/yards than UH…
😳
Go warriors. Nameless faces.
Hawaii is playing with sustained energy. Good fundamental football. We getting beat but not rolling over and playing dead.
Planny teachable moments… 😉 Main ting no geev up!
Gettin’ sick a da Trojan fight song. Gotta admit – dey playin’ like dey wordy of da ranking.
GO WARRIORS!!!
USC backup QB comiong in?
Liffey is a no good slimey coach, definitely got a thing against coach.
Go Warriors.
Throw Schroeder Throw!
Good job warriors
White Schroeder White!
We’re getting killed, but this team is going to win at least 7 games and make it to the Hawaii Bowl. We’ve got a QB.
Manoa or Kailua?
Yah. White white white
Scratch that thought I was still texting my son.
Why did Hardy-Tuliau not play in first half?
It’s just jokes. We make jokes about, say, our parents, but, we still respect them, right? It’s not mudslinging (tha’s what the pile-of-ticians do :P)
Let’s see some in about 15 mins :).
Who is 52 on D?
mo808 LMAO thats funny!
At least the helmets aren’t popping off. Good improvement from last year.
Lots of good things today.. just not enough points going our way.
@451 Ala Wai, somehow I’m never funny on purpose… 🙂
Go for it on fourth all game. USC/Kiffen no class. No wonder Coach Chow wanted to kick his ;&@. What a jerk.
wow. who needed 42? 🙂
Proud of the Warriors. Still kicking and scratching!
Heads high…
Lots to build on.
GO WARRIORS!
Are
Hats off to Team, coaches and staff, good effort.
Go Warriors!
Mahalo Warriors!
You
Ready!?!?!
Good effort Warriors, real proud of your effort
We get sum players, sum need more experience,
overall, we got players.
Good effort by team. I’m very pleased with the heart and character of this years warriors. I saw some great things that can be built upon. Aloha.
Great effort. Lots of film to learn from.
Despite following the blog daily, I had low expectations for this game. I came away pleasantly surprised that the Warriors are set up to have a great season despite rebuilding.
Have a good night, everyone!
btw,
If you are still able to drive safely….
St.Louis vs Bishop Gorman (NV) at Aloha Stadium should be pretty interesting.
BG might be the best HS team to visit since Dela Salle came with MJD.
Good HS football. Kickoff around 7
$5 admission. (I knew that would grab your attention.)
Let’s Go Saints!
Glad that Schroeder eluded any injuries from all those hard hits……and has a bye week to recover after not playing for so long.
Very Proud of this team. A new age has begun. Can hardly wait till September 15. Lets get some asses in those seats.!
Eh, coulda been worse. Hawaii coulda been Arkansas St.!
Good game……….dey playd tough. Lamar better be ready.
Chicken grease…
You beg for positive thoughts then you want to make jokes about USC if we lose? Seriously ? Haha 🙂
Knock yourself out if making jokes about USC makes you feel better.
I see lots of good things in this game consistency and sustainability along with confidence will do wonders 🙂
A work in progress… Warriors have the heart. This game will be a good starting point. Proud of them. Even the announcers were commenting on our QB’s grit and determination.
Hats off to SC. They are loaded with talent and are a very good team.
GO WARRIORS!!!
National tv and we never look like Sugar Bowl. Good job coach!
Forget about the loss, the team showed great spirit and character in the second half. I am proud about how they didn’t let up and it was awesome to see the long TD drive to start the second half. Great example of adjustments and a 3rd quarter TD…something that I had been pointing out was missing for awhile and the numbers proved it.
Maybe Ne’Quan and Hardy-Tuliau should switch places. JHT is a playmaker but looks a little out of place at safety. Ne’Quan is a hitter and I like him, but he seems a little stiff for corner.
I want say this now:
WAIT UNTIL NEXT YEAR!
We’ll get ’em at Aloha Stadium.
Good effort, Warriors!
Forget about complaining about the refs, they weren’t a factor at all in this game. In fact, the home team had many penalties that I’ve seen home teams get away with in the past. UH kept the ball away from USC in their 2nd drive of the 2nd half and got 3 points because the refs missed that Clapp dropped the ball, and I saw UH receivers (especially Gant) get away with pushing off…as long as the refs are consistent at let both sides do the same thing, that is pretty much what we can ask for.
Coach Chow was right. They played with discipline and with HEART. Very encouraging.
Good to see the conditioning paying dividends, too!
Can’t wait to see the rest of the offense vs Nevada.
The line started off at 39 points and moved to 42, which means that most of the money was being bet on USC…I’m glad that those people lost their money and that UH fans at least beat the spread.
Kiffin definitely called off the dogs in the 4th quarter, taking Barkley out, having them run the ball much more, and having their 3rd string and 4th string RBs get the reps. If they really wanted to run up the score they wouldn’t have done those things.
Was USC 39.5/40 favorites?
Oops. Should have refreshed before posting.
Thanks, Garret!
And for those who bet against the Warriors . . .
Bwah-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!!!
Ne’Quan can hit. check
Siasau Can hit. check
Mike can hit. check
The cuzes can hit. Check
Harding is a all around bomb.
BUT. The Warrior who can take a likkin
And keep on tickin is… wait for him …
SCHROEDER…
brudda Sean is a real Warrior!
I’m really encouraged by what we saw… Marquise Lee just killed us…
Mike Edwards just shut down the best receiver in the COUNTRY… Robert Woods(twitter @HeismanWoods) had 6 catches for 42 yards and pretty sure his long of 20 on the TD was on Grimes or Phillips…
I’m very happy with what i saw from the team today. They have much tmore work to do to improve for sure. But I’m happy with them and for them. Hope no serious injuries today. Next up Lamar and first home game. Always Ready! Go Warriors!
I hope manoa1 and asahi went put da money where da mouth is
Bwahaaaahaaaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaaa
We going beat da donk’s dis year.
yup. Mike shut him down. Next year at aloha, get chance
M. Barkley 24/39 for 351 yards….. 75 of which came on the first play… so really he was 23/38 276 yards not including that first play…
Sean Schroeder 23/39 208 yards…. Granted a couple of INT’s (one was a tipped ball)
What happened to Gant? He was in the opening series then I didn’t see him in there…
UTEP giving OK a good game. 7-7 right now and UTEP has blocked two field goals.
OK next…..on to the Stanley for some Wahine action. Better get going. Hoping for a 1-2-3 Aloha night.
Good luck the rest of the season. Thought Kiffin should have taken out Barkley a series earlier than he did. At least he played Defensive backups the entire second half. Great experience for the young ones. Warriors kept coming at em. Tough QB. He took some shots. Really like that RB #7 as well. He needs more carries.
Price at UTEP is a good coach.
Too bad they missed two FG’s.
Thanks to the players and coaches for a game that was full of heart, dedication and perseverance. You will build on this experience both on the field and off of it.
Oldtimer
The greatest improvements occurs between the first game and the second, barring injuries. Got lots of tape on what needs to be addressed and what areas could be exploited. BUT there were lots of positives too. Just need to start stringing more of the positives together.
No need to wait till next year… Next game should be a great second tune up and polisher. After that, the real season starts!
Elimimian got picked up on the Browns practice squad.
Pollard got picked up on Jets practice squad.
Hopefully Rams sign Aaron Brown to practice squad and Paredes to Vikes.
Also Salas will now be catching passes from Tom Brady
Greenthumb, you said it perfectly!
Ahhhh, OK, then won’t do USC jokes (hen (party pooper; boooooooooo!!!!!!!!). Too bad. They were funny (the ones a Grease had, at least).
Here says Kiffen and Chow get along, can’t we all:

@ 498, that is encouraging news for our former Warriors!
At least we put up a fight and probably gave Barkley something to think about the rest of the season. I didn’t like our interference calls, but that aside, we should do well the rest of the season. Lamar will be a polish up game then we face Nevada. Schroeder has good reads and calm in the pocket. Night guys. Go Warriors!
Hopefully Brady can do the same for Salas as he did for Welker!
DBs are going to be solid
linebackers now see gaps at full speed and know better how to shed blocks
D-line knows how they gave everything but must dig deep to give more.
o-line knows the importance of assignments and sticking to and finishing plays
shroeder saw the difference between practice speed and game speed, he’ll dial it up a notch
running backs i think will improve the most. hitting holes hard and fast, quarterback protection, picking up blitz packages. etc…hard to simulate the difference in speed and power between practice and a real game
receivers will get better at timing, speed, and route running-getting off blocks on the snap
kicking…i think come conference time harding will give so many options never seen before in our brand of football.
thank you warriors and thank yo coach Chow. as a fan, this was one loss that still somehow gives yo a good feeling
someone give shroeder a good lomilomi 🙂
Tha #1 thing this game showed was Chow should have been a head coach a lot earlier in his career.
The good news is that our Warriors won’t be facing a tougher Offense or Defense than USC for the rest of the season. They can only fare better. Schroeder just needs to tweak his passes a little to give the receivers a better chance at catching the balls. He’ll be able to do that as the Oline will be able to buy him more time.
I thought that Sean did a really good job in his first game. Barkley only got knocked down a couple of times. I lost count with Schroeder.
Although we lost I think we witnessed a team that has heart and discipline.
Phase one accomplished and now the coaches have film to make corrections. SC just had too many big plays other than that our boys were hitting and never gave up. The offense will catch up.
great job by the coaches and players.
they represented hawaii well.
three one touch plays hurt; the pick tip six, the two long ones by future nfl all-pro marquis lee.
however, we played tough till the end, we played with discipline, heart, and its only going to get better.
Really enjoyed our punting…especially the one that rolled to the 6-inch line.
Also our fake punt. Too bad it got called back due to a rule that says
we gotta tell the other team that the ball can be snapped to another
player. What’s up with that???? Who in the world would ever draw up
such a rule?
A Grease would like to 2nd the motion.
And aren’t we glad to have him. There are gonna be games where, afterward, we gonna be a “da############n, Coach Chow!” Forget governor, we going want Dr. Chow to run for PRESIDENT (figuratively speaking).
Really good showing; could really see a refined Warriors!!!!! 😀
Ipu Man, we didn’t understand that call either, can someone explain?
one thing is for sure, we won’t lose a game this year because of stupid in-game decisions.
Chow did not look like a first time head coach to me. And things will only get better.
Go Warriors!!!!!!!!
I am proud of our young men. Good things are coming!!!!
I was surprised with how the offense looked. I followed chow games with utah last year and it didn’t look like what hawaii ran today. excited bout the future!!!!!
No it was a numbers rule. Your interior linemen are required to wear certain numbers. If not they need to notify the officials.
Howzit, everyone!
Just got back recently from a gathering of Georgian Tsaikos. Not the end result we were hoping for, but not really a bad feeling either, despite the score. Couple of mistakes here and there, but overall, a solid effort.
Harding can do it all… and punt with either foot. Effectively unreal!
Schroeder took a beating, and still stuck with it.
Lots of tape to go over and learn from. Really excited for the rest of the season!
About 1:15 am here, and another long day coming up. So, with that, pleasant dreams, everyone!
The fans are tired. But let me say this, fill the stands at Aloha Stadium. At least we did not blown out like UCLA did last year. Our big problem was the wide receivers. But hey they got hit and now I hope they realize this could be a good team.
USC fans are just terrible. The Armenian mafia was in the house, thank the Lord they left early as someone spilled nachos on them. They kept saying we sucked…and one of the USC fans spilled their nachos all over the bad hair extensions. LOL!
They had to get home to Glendale. They thought Don Weir dropped nachos. Not Don Weir. Was a USC fan. LOL! They were trying to pick fights with fans.
Tsaikos and posters who post on game day are great here in Tsai’s blog!!! You folks are all great!
A Grease will visit here each game day, if tha’s OK!!!!
big hilo fan 2 they still got their A– kick. lucky kiffin went call off the dogs…..shock dis.!!! secondary is terrible the d line when save their A—-.you need to wake da hell up.
mike never shut anybody down. big hilo wat da hell you was watching….maybe you had too much to drink and smoke.
So, manure #1, you happy UH lost so you can come back and act like an ass? YOU are the biggest loser. Hope you bet your house.
Manpa#1
Show up at the Lamar TGate with the Tsaikos
I’d like to meet you. Bet you’ll Pull a Stevie, no show.
At least acknowledge that coach got the players to scrap
Yes I love our coaches and team.
Got lots of areas for improvement — obviously — but there were lots of good things out there too. But you just want to bray like a jackass, Pffft. LOSER.
Hawaii losing is not the shock of the century. Our team played under the brightest of lights and will take this as an experience of a lifetime.
Brand new everything, what do people expect?
We have a lot of work going forward but I think things can and will get better. If we can take that 3rd Q performance and make it last 4Qs we could finish at the top of the MWC and a bowl invite.
No shame in losing today Warriors, hold your heads up high and get ready to put a lick on Lamar in a couple of weeks!
Manoa1
I never look over my shoulder
always gonna get peeps who disagree with the next guy, but what is irritating about you is ypur
Crappy Spirit
517, thanks. So they could have either swapped jerseys or told a ref? Sounds pretty arcane.
USC is ranked #1 because of the sum of its parts. This includes three WR’s of NFL quality.
UH’s DBs did a great job in containing the USC receivers. If you take away the points given away by Turnovers and STs the score would be 37-10. Very respectable. In several occurrences involving our DBs in the game, the Pass Interference penalties were less punishing than allowing a TD. Here is the difference between college and the NFL. Our players defend the way they are taught and did it well.
“In the NFL and the Canadian Football League the penalty for defensive pass interference is an automatic first down at the spot of the foul. If the foul occurs in the end zone, the ball will be placed at the one-yard line. In U.S. college football and amateur Canadian football, the penalty is to the spot of the foul, up to a maximum of 15 yards from the previous spot, and an automatic first down. In U.S. high school rules the penalty is 15 yards from the previous spot and an automatic first down; offensive pass interference is fifteen yards from the previous spot and a loss of down. In the NFL and CFL, the penalty for an offensive pass interference is 10 yards from the previous spot. In amateur Canadian football, the penalty is 15 yards.
In certain situations a defensive player may deliberately commit pass interference against an intended receiver who would surely make a huge gain or score a touchdown were he to catch the ball. This is especially true in NCAA and amateur Canadian football, where the penalty for pass interference that occurs more than 15 yards upfield is less severe than under professional rules. In U.S. high school, if the covering official deems the interference intentional, an additional 15 yards may be assessed.”
I hope fans here understand my honest assessments of the team now. While many were pissed that I said we really didn’t have a chance to win, I also said I was going to be looking for adjustments throughout the game and a team that fights hard. Adjustments were made and a lot of heart was shown. Which shows this program is headed into the right direction.
Personel wise, we just don’t have the talent right now to upset the #1 team in the country on the road. Especially when our system is pretty similar to USC. Nothing really going to sneak up on them.
Future looks good though.
Harding is a stud. Iosefa will be playing on Sundays. Lefotu, Mui, Clarke show real promise on O line. Hopefully other 2 spots are still open for competition. Yap looks like our top Defensive End.. He’s young. Our D Tackles played pretty well.
I expect us to be ready for Nevada in a couple weeks. I know we shouldn’t over look Lamar but Lamar should be a game we can tweak some of our mistakes against.
Very proud of the effort and adjustments though.
BHF2
no worries majority of us saw the same game as you.
no worry about that guy-he only like make pilikia.
i never thought it possible to feel good about a loss…but i can live with this one.
schroeder i think made believers out of everyone.
i think the o-line realizes the heart schroeder has and will step it up to do whatever it takes to protect him. likewise, the rest of the team will find another gear and everyone will get in synch.
this team is going surprise many in a good way.
That substitution rule penalty as I understand it is as follows: The offense must always have at least seven men on the line of scrimmage. Only the players on the ends may legally catch a pass. The ends must have a number from a designated sequence, usually 80-89. If a player with a number outside that sequence is going to play an end position, he must so advise the officials when he goes into the game.
In this game the penalty was called because UH had players lined up on the ends in a punt formation. I believe this is legal as long as they do indeed punt. When UH shifted from punt formation into an offensive formation and ran an offensive play, however, whoever ended up at the end positions needed to have an appropriate number or have checked in with the refs.
I have decided that a jersey with number 29 would be really cool to own 😎
mo . . .
Oi, oi, oi!
COACHES
you did good!!!!!!!! for ypur first game, you did real good. I could tell by watching how The
warriors played. At the end. No quit.
Jeezy, do you really think anyone here didn’t know UH was walking into a buzz saw? We’re really not that stupid. The issue was more with your fatalism.
You might even consider adding “MO-HARD…”
Wafan das a good one”!
One of my personal rules about posting here is to be mindful that players and their classmates and loved ones may read the blog and comments.
warrior mojo n big hilo 2 take a deep breath and relax i know you guys are stll mad at the ass whoopin you got today but be real our team ain’t all dat…n don’t temp me to come to the lamar tailgate. what dat suppose to make me scared ths is a blog if you no can handle then no reply you cry babies.
Get real.
Great delivery. Solid arguments. Keep up the good effort.
New NCAA record.
736 yards. Dang!

I do not even know how I stopped up here, however I thought this post was good. I don’t recognise who you’re however certainly you are going to a famous blogger for those who are not already. Cheers!
the sock puppets are alive ….
Josh McDaniels, offensive coordinator for the Rams last year, now the offensive coordinator for New England, must have had a big say in the trade for Greg Salas. Greg was a big contributor in his offense last year before he broke his leg.
Schroeder kept his composure even after getting licked numerous times. Very promising.
Any videos/articles with Coach Chow’s post game comments yet?
Coach Chow’s press conference.

I was really looking at how my team was going to do
and I came away today feeling like coach and his crew know their stuffs
Good nite Tsaikos. Sweet dreams
Hawaii seemed less overwhelmed than in the Sugar Bowl. Score is similar. Hawaii was ranked #10 at the end of the 2007 season. .’. Hawaii ~ #10 in 2012 … Proof might need some work, but seems to bode well.
2012 Hawaii versus #1 USC: 10-49
2008 Hawaii versus #? Georgia: 10-41
537… if u say so…. everyone was predicting a hawaii win.
Why? What did we lose?
😉
cee808…
While I wouldn’t go so far as to say this team is as effective overall as the 2007 team, I felt real good watching their effort. They’d get knocked down and then they’d bounce right back.. They’d get pushed back and they would rebound in a controlled manner. The gains weren’t all that great but you had a feeling that, even without a change in personnel, if they were to play each other in two weeks the outcome would be different.. then again two weeks after that even better. There was a solid foundation and sense of promise.
What this team was lacking wasn’t heart.. wasn’t talent.. wasn’t even size or depth.
What they were lacking in was time playing together. And that will come.
The Warriors went head to head with USC with a new first time head coach, a new team, a new system, against a highly ranked team, and an opposing coach trying to maintain the ranking … and despite the score, never seemed overwhelmed. I was very encouraged.
Jeezy! You are quite the instigator. 1st you say things to pi$$ us off, and then actually make some valid observations about the Warriors play….and valid they were!
I still say that you must not be from here. Please come to our T-gate. I think it would be a good thing for all concerned to meet each other to iron out the kinks.
G’nite everybody, it’s been a long day of cheering for our Warriors. I’m proud of what they showed me in grit and pure determination today.
Let’s continue to do this together Coach Chow!
OUR football team WILL BE OKAY. You watch.
Right on, and goodnight Kekoa!
Good Game Men…Heads up we only can go forward, rest up, we are proud of you guys.
558… what do i say to piss u off? that it was unrealistic to win? I was just making a honest statement. If you actually read the posts, I make very valid statements about our program heading in the right direction. But I can accept that our team is young and learning a new system. Versus some fans think new system, new coach, we can accomplish anything right away. Really not how it works. Especially when going to play #1 team at their house. I wasn’t stating anything that any neutral observer wouldn’t agree with.
Is there an echo in here?…G’nite!
We are going to have a good year.
Go Warriors!
I am so proud to be a Warrior fan, and I can’t wait to cheer on the fellas at home in two weeks. Work hard, prepare and get better each game, and I hope to be celebrating Christmas Eve with all you great folks and our Warriors. Gnite all.
All I can say is we will be okay if The Warriors cut out the mistakes and execute consistently this will be a team to be wreckoned with…Majorly impressed at the Heart Our Team Showed They Never Gave Up On Each Other They Didn’t Quit One Each Other…If you look back at some of our good seasons they tended to start off with a loss to USC…Like what I saw though I hope the offense continues to improve and the defense once in sync will be very dangerous…Like everyone said this will probably be the Best Offense and Defense we face this season…
Chow looks/sounds kinda angry in the post-game interview. To be expected I guess, but so different from his other interviews and stuff. Even those interviews when he was with UCLA Utah etc.
The guy does not mince words. Awesome.
Half Time adjustments?
They existed in this game. That’s a big +.
Proud of the boys!!! I’m so,so impressed
with the organization, effort and I’m encouraged
for the next few years!!!!’
Luv em!!!!!!!
Let’s do this together Jezzy!!!!!!!!!!
Much better effort then sugar bowl!!!!
Good night, everyboty [minna]
[A Grease nemasu with positive tho . . .]
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz . . .
Good games for both the Warriors and Wahine!
Warriors played well for their first game and no one got seriously hurt.
Wahine looked sloppy at times, but the Wackos from Waco were worse.
Hope everyone got to see WW’s cousin sing the National Anthem & Hawaii Ponoi. 😀
manoa#1 = Steve?
Next year. Our house. We’ll have a lot of returnees, a year in Coach Chow’s system. The Trojans won’t have the offensive super weapons of this season either. Mark ur calendars…
Esquire – thanks for posting Chow’s post-game news conference. The man has a firm handle on all phases of the game. We are going to be a very good team…
What I like is that we never had the deer-in-the headlights look which we’ve seen before. The coaches and players stayed focused and determined. Best of all, Coach knows the exact right things to say in response to all phases of the game. He will get those things fixed.
G’night Grease –
Love ur posts!
Warriors were well disciplined, no silly penalties.
