Wahine tickets on sale Monday

Season tickets for the 2014 Rainbow Wahine volleyball season go on sale Monday. Fans can purchase season tickets online visit the Stan Sheriff Center box office (Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) or call (808) 944-2697 during the same hours.

Dave Shoji begins his 40^th season at the University of Hawai’i coming off the team’s 32^nd NCAA Tournament appearance and its 19^th straight conference title.

Returning are First-Team All-Big West selection Nikki Taylor, all-conference selection and three-year starter Kalei Adolpho, and Tai Manu-Olevao and Tayler Higgins

The season kicks off with the Chevron Rainbow Wahine Invitational from Aug. 29-31, a tournament that includes Mid-American Conference champion Ohio and Arizona State. UH then hosts the Hawaiian Airlines Wahine Volleyball Classic the following week which features the Oregon Ducks. The tournament schedule wrap ups with the Outrigger Hotels and Resorts Volleyball Challenge and a matchup with 2011 national champion UCLA.

Season ticket prices are as follows:
Lower level – $175 plus an `Ahahui Koa Anuenue premium seat contribution*
Upper level adult – $135
Upper level senior citizen (65+) – $110
Upper level student (ages 4-high school) – $75

* The lower level AKA premium seat contribution will be either $100 or $120, depending on the location of the seats.
