Wahine schedule released tomorrow

To follow up from posts on another thread:

Hawaii is again the lone wolf in the Big West, meaning when coming out to UH in a certain week, that is the only match of the week for that team unless they choose to play another match (nonconference) that week.

Preseason schedule has been out there since March when the boosters got it. Teams coming in, as mentioned a few months ago, are Arizona State, Oregon, UCLA, St. John’s, Ohio, Utah State, New Mexico, San Diego State, San Francisco.

I’m guessing UH will be the lone wolf every year. Seems like they’re trying to give as much advantage to the other teams as possible. Otherwise the lone wolf status would be on rotation

In some respects, it makes sense for it to be Hawaii
They prefer Fri-Sat, Fri=Sat, Fri-Sun for the fans

but there isn’t a problem with Big West basketball with Thurs-Sat games so ..

I think if the conference was more competitive that it would become more of an issue
Still, it hasn’t been a walkover for the Wahine in the Big West.
