Thought it was an impressive comeback by the Warriors. Key was Sedore’s serving and Zarkovic came on strong at the end. he was below .200 midway through the match, finished at .452.
On the other thread, someone said I had a lot of faith that it would go five.
I didn’t. But there was just this feeling that SC wasn’t playing that great and if UH could serve a little tougher it would go five.
My feeling then was that UH, because of its five-set experience would pull it out.
SC had only played 1 five-setter this year, that was last Sunday, losing at Stanford 3-2.
    We’ll see what happens Sunday.
MAtch is not on TV, only radio 1420. Baseball on TV

I had a really….REALLY….bad feeling through almost all of sets 2 & 4. This team — at times — can really rally. I agree with Cindy’s comment in previous thread that they seem to like playing from behind. I’m impressed they never seem to give up, heck I almost did at the end of set 4. Great WIN for the warriors!!

For Sunday I hope JP is a bit more productive, the passing is better, and they cut down on some of the service errors.

Very impressive comeback led by Mr. Sedore. I actually turrned the tv off on match point for USC thinking it was over, glad I turned it back in a few minutes later.

I can’t believe they are showing the horrible baseball team’s game instead of volleyball,,, doesn’t baseball have like 30+ games still left they can show jeez.

Shame on you, warriorfan for losing faith and turning off the TV…

To be honest, the way they were playing I thought they were going to be swept in three.

Thought they looked really sad the first half of the match but, good for them, they managed to squueze out a win. Don’t think this was a good win but a win is a win.

by good win I meant a much-needed win. it certainly wasn’t pretty. They may have to win out to make the playoffs.

I gave up during the middle of the 2nd match and went to bed in Alaska….maybe that’s why they won..hah! What joy when I read the online paper Sat morning! Hooray! Made for a terrible night, but looking forward to a great day!! Ditto the comment about baseball preumpting vball on Sunday:(.

OcSports really messed this one up. Even tho I do not follow Men’s Volleyball that much, I even know to show the Men’s Volleyball match vs USC, then the Baseball Teams game with Gonzaga.

it was on the schedule that way. just how it worked out. But it would be nice, given baseball’s poor season that they would change it.
