After the 1st set loss, USA went with Micha Hancock (for Lauren Carlini) and Alex Holston (for Nikki Taylor) and pulled out the win in the 5th set. Both teams credited Micha Hancock’s serves as the difference. Her serve changed the game so effectively that it proved the difference between winning and losing.

Takeaway/lesson: Every Wahine (UH) player needs a potent serve. Spin, jump, flat, all serves should have pace and accuracy. Speed kills.
