WVB roster up, mini-packs on sale, U.S. loses in Pan Ams
As mentioned on previous thread, Wahine roster is up

carrying over the conversation about no Mitchem yet.
Keep being told that she’s on track to be here. So don’t think there’s cause for alarm yet. But she does need her AA degree that will then go through the process of UH acceptance and the NCAA clearing house.
there was a comment about Huff being listed at MH. That’s what last year’s roster had and even after the played OH, it was never changed.
UH also selling mini-pack Any six matches starting at $60.

Annie Mitchem has a broken toe. She was on crutches as of last week. Severity unknown.
Hope Annie’s injury is not serious , she doesn’t have a redshirt year available.
there is a video of UH’s future setter Noreen Iosia and Jane Croson who both played for American Samoa vs Tahiti in the Gold Medal game on the Port Moresby 2015 XV Pacific Games website: http://www.portmoresby2015.com/competition-schedule/
Click on the “Port Moresby 2015 Day 15 Highlights” video…..
I forgot to mention that ASA beat Tahiti for the Gold Medal…..
I see only the Beachbows roster but the indoor is still 2014.
Don’t know why but i have a bad feeling about Mitchem. Hope the other Freshmen’s
doing well and getting settled in. Bet their home sick.
Ok found the 2015 indoor roster……
Saw that she had a broken toe.
3-4. thanks. hadn’t found the video. it was mentioned a few days ago that AS had won gold.
5-6. it is a little confusing until you see the dropdown menu for the year.
Not sure why you think they’d be homesick. It’s an exciting time for them
U.S. men in trouble at Pan Am Games, down 7-3 in Set 5 to Canada.
U.S. loses in 5, Averill with seven kills, two aces and two blocks.
The US passing was not good enough to get Averill more sets.
Averill’s mustache is getting a lot of attention of espn 🙂
Any idea when the US quarterfinal match is?
Good thing we got Natasha Burns and Huff as backup middles then. If Annie have any linger effect of her toe injury, she will probably not be ready to play preconference season so maybe Shoji will slowing ease her into the starting rotation.
However if UH starts to win and both Magill and Maglio play lights out then Annie will just have to wait her turn. I hate to disrupt a team chemistry if the team is doing well.
Still too early so we shall wait and see. Hope Annie recovers on time since I’ve heard so much about her.
Flying roaches and other things have been mentioned in the past by new UH recruits in various sports.
To me….its easy to calm the fear of the fear of the flying roaches. Just tell recruits that no one ever died or hospitalized by flying roaches. They just pest….nothing more.
At least we don’t have rattlesnakes and rabid raccoons running around freely.
10. yep, passing was poor in both of their losses. when it was on, as it was against Mexico, you saw what Averill can do. Not sure if I like the mustache.
Quarterfinal against Argentina at 1 p.m. HST Gametracker below

way too early to start speculating about Mitchem’s injury or when she’d be cleared to play. or put out other scenarios in terms of who’s in the lineup. They don’t even know where they might play her because she is very versatile.
12. don’t know if Huff goes back to middle or not. They spent a lot of time with her at OH, including when they were in Europe, which is why they wanted Adolpho on the trip as the third MB. Everything hinges on how they look in camp. They will have a lot of options.
