Taylor leads U.S. in Pan Am Cup, U.S. men sweep Russia

Both teams win again today, The U.S. women over Trinidad & Tobago, the men over Russia.

Nikki Taylor with a match-high 10 points with eight kills and no errors on 11 swings as well as two blocks.

    Much better, (notwithstanding the level of the competition) although Nikki was double sub the first 2 sets, starting only the final set. I did not see any digging stats for her, she must not be playing back- row. (so no D sets) Wonder if they study video of their opponents?

    Yay for Nikki! And she didn’t even start!

    1. They only record the “excellent digs,” not every defensive attempt. Besides, she was a front row player only in the first two sets, which would severely limit any opportunity for her to record an “excellent dig.” She did have one dig, just not an “excellent” one.
